For those of you who had the same problem as me, purchasing the Expansion Package than find it's unplay-able as of yet. Announcements later, the game gets updated to fix the crashing problem. However, whilst trying to update, the files wouldn't download. Status of the download as goes :

Today my Elevator Pass ran out so I bought a new one. I used the Energy Depot in-game and paid for the requested amount from my Steam Wallet. Usually, I instantly receive the Pass in the mail and then all is well. Now it has been 4 hours ago and I still haven't had anything.

So i launch up SK today to play and there is no Logon with steam button?? and in my username i got my steam id (steam:76561198033278567) So i think Ok ill enter my password.. as soon as i enter my password and press enter BAM crash instantly closes. OK i enter Spiral knights again and try to use Guest mode Works fine- but there isnt even a logon with steam button anymore!!!! Please someone help me. ive tried to reinstall and it didnt do anything. yes i do have the latest java. and i have updated my Gpu.

OK, I'm really not having a problem with the game, just these forums. Before I start to make some posts I'd like to have a picture. I'm just really picky about this stuff, even though its only a formality. I signed in using my Steam account, meaning I see a frighteningly large number next to the log out button right now. When I go to the "MY ACCOUNT" tab I notice I can choose my knight, which I promptly did. I don't know if its my own general lack of intelligence or something but I just can't find a menu for the pictures.

I'm trying to pick Spiral Knights back up again after like half a year and for whatever reason I can't launch it. I run it on steam and get as far as the black screen before it closes out. Things to note:

1) I've updated Java

2) I did a diagnostic boot so I'm pretty sure my firewall isn't an issue because I turned it off. For those wondering it is Norton

3) I'm playing on Windows Vista

4) I use a Nvidia Graphics Card (I just updated it)

Update: I've now uninstalled and reinstalled SK. Nothing has changed. I get the black screen and it simply closes immidiately.

When trying to log in, says heading to ready room but does not actually go there o O.. and also after completing some missions screen becomes inactive and i must close program and re-open..

I've installed Spiral knights in linux and had no problems installing, how upon first launching of game it downloads patches, after that the game closes and when i try to restart it the game doesn't load anymore.. anyway to fix it? I tried running thru the browser but it's slow with loading times and such.. perfer a downloaded version

when ever i try to start Spiral knights, a window pops up and says "unable to access jarfile getdown-pro.jar". what does that mean and what do i need to do to fix this?
