I recently tried to log on to Spiral Knights after not having done so for a day or two. I noticed a couple things:
First off, trying to simply bring up the game while having a internet page open with another game caused both to die
- obviously this is normal if one's computer sucks as much as mine but the problem started after I tried starting up the game again, with everything else closed this time
Second, the window it opened didn't say Spiral Knights, instead it said "projectx" but still brougt up the log in screen

when I ordered it I got the following line in the chat: m.billing_steam_error.6
I did pay through steam And It did remove the funds from my steam wallet.

I don't get the "vertical sync", "compatibility mode", and "render effects" options.

Also, what the heck is antialiasing?

I have an account with Kongregate but When i try to log on through the shortcut added to my desktop it will not let me log on to that account. On that account my name is Reckonx. Is there anyway i can link it?

Ok so after I installed the game, the Log in Button already pops-out but the thing is
after I logged in its says again that:
'Please wait while we install the rest of the game'
then Downloading Data 69 minutes remaining. Is this really the normal thing?
or 'm having a problem AGAIN?

Spiral Knights lags.

Nothing else I do on compy lags.

This lag spike is the same duration every time it happens and it seems to lag for about 2 seconds, then it shows up 1 minute later, then the lag spike happens again and lasts for 2 seconds, then shows up 1 minute later.

I use Steam.

Will not using Steam fix this lag?

Is there a possible dumbed down answer on how to fix this?

By my reckoning, which could be wrong, my girlfriends laptop is more than capable of running Spiral Knights. However, I cannot get it to do so =(

Computer:

64 bit, 4 gb ram, Intel Core i5-2410M 2,3 ghz

Graphics:

Radeon HD 6490M, with 512 ram

It also has something I don't know what is, Mobile Intel HD Graphics - which seems to be the active graphics driver.

The computer as such is way stronger than my old desktop, which runs SK without problems of any kind.

Please help? =)
