I wanted to claim my Sonic CD items, so I tried booting up Spiral Knights. It came up with a black screen that went to and from my desktop a few times, then just stopped, and apparently the game had closed itself out. I tried redownloading the whole game, and that didn't work either. I tried updating Java THEN redownloading the game, and it still didn't work. I updated my graphics card, and still nothing. I looked all over for help and the only similar cases I saw prompted error messages when the game crashed. I'm not even getting an error message or any message at all.

When i try to go into Spiral Knight through steam, the application opens up in the dock, then a second spiral knight dock application opens and starts the first application closes. and the game starts normally.

The spiral knight log in page comes on normally, but there is no button to log in through steam, i click on log in through facebook the game crashes i tried typing in the steam number that the website gave me but the game crashes. logging in as guest works fine .

No loading screen. No music. No nothing. Excape can still bring up the options menu, and I can return to Haven from there, but it wastes my crowns and CE. What's going on?

Today, I decided to play some Spiral Knights. Searched in the STEAM libary and lauched it.
It came up with this error:
The application has failed to launch due the following error:download.threerings.net
I decided to make a reinstall, but nothing changed.

Please help! I have never had this problem before!

So, after reading up on this issue of mine (game starting, and then doing nothing/exiting), i've decided to look @ something someone said, to check:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/javasoft/Pref/Projectx, then to change files...
Well, i've downloaded java 3 times now...and it has yet to give me a projectX file. I had this same issue on my old computer, but when i downloaded visual C++ it, for whatever reason, gave me the ProjectX file? Now i have java, and C++ again, but no projectx.....any1 wanna lend a hand? :D

Before Spiral Knights went on Steam, I made an account to try it out and thought "oh, cool". And left it be for awhile, then came back after it got on Steam.
Every time I log in it asks to convert and I say to convert but every time it gives me the error "An unexpected error has occurred on the server.". This happens every time I log in, again, and it's getting a bit silly.

Hello I had purchaced the Sonic CD and di not receive a tail, but I got the sonic costume. Wondering what should I do or what happened?

So im in have and i have on my snarbolax coat and my ash tail hat and they say +4 health on ashcap and +5 health on snarb coat but then when i goto the training hall the say +1 health on both and then when i go to the clockworks dungeons they say +3 on both!!!! help or anything causeing this?

The topic says it. Happened today. I went dungeoning in the Emerald Queen gate and Clockwork Tunnels Mechanized Mile. As I went through the dungeon, I was attacking some robots and suddenly, fell through the map. I could hear the monsters and all and tried figuring out how to get out (I couldn't see myself!) After figuring out, checking the faq, the game froze, then my computer froze.

Windows XP Service Pack 3

So I finally wanted to get back to SK and when I do, either when I use the steam app, it doesn't start up and says that my jvm.dll is not there or can't be read. Then, if I try to use the app from here, it just opens to a dark screen, tries to load, then closes automatically. I've uninstalled and re-installed a lot of things, such as Java, SK of course, and steam. I shut down my firewalls, but I dun think it was the firewalls since it's still happening...
