no idea whats going on with this thing, but it happened while it failed to update.
what do i do O' guru of computer wisdom.

i have an older laptop (dell latitude D600) and can't run the game. here is the sequence of events:

installed game (on steam)
patched successfully
started game, created new character
started training level, got about 2/3 of the way (until lizards appear)

at that point, even though the game was running in windowed mode, the entire screen went black and the pc wouldn't respond to anything. it was still "alive" (hard drive activity light, caps-lock light went on when key pressed, etc.) but the display was stuck

Hey I just installed the new patch (im using steam) and my anitvirus (Microsoft security essentials) alerted me that this file:

:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\spiral knights\code\projectx-pcode.jar.patch->com/a/b/E.class

Was "dangerous"...false positive? is it safe to remove? should I allow? Help!

Is anyone having issues too? Ive never had issues installing or patching. Today however My game downloads and validates to 100% then restarts. Im a steam user ive tried reinstalling the game and restarting my pc and still no luck. If anyone has any helpful advice id be grateful.

Just like the last patch, after today's patch I got the message that says, You have been disconnected from the server."

the solution to the last patch was to wait it out for a couple of days

When i was as boss there was a sudden flash then i d/c. When i tried to log back on it keeps sending me back to the roarmulus twin boss place and it only loads to 98%. Please help.

Hello, I have lost 600 CE as a result of last week's maintenance reboot and still have not recovered it. My in-game name knight is Glaice, and I had a heat amp near the end of its 2 day lifespan that same day, so when it expired that might have explained my large loss in CE. I did not make any purchases or crafted anything before said reboot that afternoon.

Most of my CE is purchased from the energy market and I would be greatly disappointed if I cannot recover said CE I paid with cash for.

Please help me get back my energy I lost for no reason whatsoever.

Exactly what the title of the thread says. Ever since yesterday, my game has suddenly developed an odd bug where attempting to enter a Clockwork will make the loading screen pop up and get permanently stuck on 0%. Joining parties doesn't seem to have this problem, but being a guild master, I would rather be capable of creating parties for my guild mates.

I'm running the game from Steam and I've already tried verifying the cache, reinstalling the game and Java, as well as restarting my computer. Nothing seems to fix the problem. The game gets persistently stuck on 0%.

I logged on fine this morning. But when I just logged in now, the game installed the new patch and then would not connect to server. It is possible that the server is still down to download the patch. I was one of those who could not log in for over 2 weeks with the disconnected from server error last month. I have a LINKSYS wireless G WRT54G v5 router. I will try again later. I just really hope its not another 2 weeks. My daughter loves playing this game with me.

I'm running the game through steam. I have a dual screen setup, but this should hardly be a problem as i'm running a Radeon X1650SE, have 2GB RAM and a 3.0Ghz dual core processor.

I've got the latest Java updates, driver updates and I just can't work out why it isn't running.
