Recently, as in only within the past few days, I've been unable to log into the game.

When I put my user name/password into the login screen, I get two nominally different errors: "Failed to connect to the server."
Previously I had only gotten this error when I tried to log in while maintenance was being performed, but after having problems logging in for almost a week, I know something else is up. I'm logging in from the same connection as before, but neither wired nor wireless connections work. I can't login from the local installation on my computer or the "Play" link on the website.

I downloaded spiral knights trought steam 2 days ago and i was playing fine
in the other day i wasnt able to play because the game stops and the pc stops responding and i need to restart it
someone know how to help me please?(sorry my bad english im brazilian)

I never had this problem until I converted to steam. At first, it seems like the game is running fine. I can run around without issues for a minute or so, but then when I'm getting into a dungeon, it's like my character is running in goo. I can't be particularly useful when I'm lagging so badly.

For some reason on the second gremlin munitations factory level, my window will always crash at some point throughout the level. I get no warning for it happening, but it only happens on this level. Sometimes I'll see a white square instead of a vitapod or vial right before i crash. Perhaps there's a problem with skins loading?

Re-downloading SK from steam didn't work >.< still happening. tis quite frustrating as i usually die in the process of being dc'd and sometimes I'm getting kicked from parties because of it T~T. any ideas?

I manually uninstalled SK and java and installed 64 bit java, then SK, but the process is still called java.exe *32. What am I missing?

Every time I try and launch the game it starts updating. Problem is, it fails to do so. Here's what it looks like.

How do I get past this? Any help would be much appreciated.

I like to stream music when I play. Sometimes, a long song will start to load which will cause a short spike in my latency. In Spiral Knights, this equates to 2-3 seconds of unplayable action from lag. That's not a problem.

While updating Spiral Knights through steam today I got an error that said "We were unable to download the necessary files after five attempts. You can try running the application again, but if it fails you may need to uninstall and reinstall."

I tried running it again and it did not work, so I tried re-installing the application through steam. Still no luck, and I still got the same error.

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

I tried to log in but they say that the server is disconnected, I looked to the firewall and there's nothing wrong with it, now it taked already 3 days and I still have the same message, could it deal with the update?

So I'm playing SK through steam, have windows 7 and I know my computer is more than able to handle the game, it has before. But whenever there's a bug patch, like today, my game refuses to finish the patch, giving me the Unexpected End of File error. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game several times with no effect, restarted my computer, etc. I'm not -that- technically savvy, so I can't say I've done everything to try and fix it, but I have tried quite a bit and could really, really use some help now, please.
