Got reports from a couple of friends that the servers were down - same goes for me. Message is "Failed to connect to server".

Edit: apparently there was an update without notice? Updated and it works just fine.

i was playing spiral knights and mid-game the power in my house went out but it came back on, so i restarted the game to get my connection back but ever since then its been stuck on the logging in screen whenever i click log in. then it freezes and the only way to exit out is to hit the force quit shortcut on my macbook.

i tried restarting my computer, reinstalling standalone and resetting my browser but nothing is working, its permanently like this now and i feel so frustrated because it wouldnt have happened if my power didnt go out.

When I try to log in to SK through Steam, a window pops up saying: "The application has failed to launch due to the following error: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://gamemedia.spiralknights.com/spiral/20150616160405/getdown.txt

When I go to the stated URL there's nothing to download so not sure how to fix this.

I have tried checking for updates and missing files in Steam as well as reinstalling Spiral Knights to not solution :(

Every time I play Spiral Knights these says, my game hangs, and it stays like that. I have to quit the the game, and restart, and this hanging happens almost every 15 minutes. This needs to be fixed, as I believe there might be many other players who are having the same issue.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit with 4 GB of ram, ATI Radeon HD 4200 video card with 1 GB of video memory, and the game's process quits after the update window (I know because I watched it in the Task Manager). It also happens in the web browser version, and uninstalling and reinstalling does not work, neither does restarting the computer.

Checking the projectx.log file, I get this:

I wanted to play SK with a controller
I tryed a xbox one controller but it isn't working
I did put it on before opening SK
And i did change the controls to gamepad.

I recently managed to convince my friend to start up Spiral Knights, and after making a new account and jazz on the SK website, she tried logging in to the game but there was a message that said (and I quote):

"We are no longer accepting new accounts from Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau. Please go to http://gamecyber.com.hk for more information."

I went to the website to look for some answers, but it seems that there almost isn't any association with SK in relation to gamecyber at ALL. Is this happening for all new HK/Taiwan/Macau players, or is it just my friend?

i reconfigured my right click (shield) to the left command key on my mac, since macbooks are really unreliable with right clicking on a mouse or mousepad. i notice that when i use the shield key when im already walking around, my character gets stuck in movement and wont respond to WASD keys unless i completely let go of the keys and then start moving again after my character stands still. this is very irritating and i was wondering if theres a fix. thanks.

i found a glitch in witch upon using defense up with a maskeraith on the 3rd sprite level and getting attack with my cyclops cap on my entire head was just a belt with a glowing dot i found it very funny
