Need Lockdown Weapon Advice

So I am new to lockdown, and I want to get a good setup for it. I am in Tier 3 normally and use a Gran Faust + Silversix combo. I usually play Recon or Striker. I plan to get a 3rd weapon slot, but I am not sure what to get. Under the recommendation of others I have a Snarble Barb and I was going to get a Barbarous Thorn Blade. I discovered you could only UV roll on the Snarble Barb and ended up with one with High Charge Time Reduction. Should I try to trade this for one with Attack Speed Increase or continue rolling? Which is easier/faster?

Bombs+Guns or Swords+Guns?

I can't quite decide what I should choose, if I had Bombs+Guns I would probably get Mad Bomber Suit or any of the others.
If I had Swords+Guns I would probably end up with Snarbolax Armor / Vog Cub Armor.
Anybody know which I should choose?

Which sword would you describe as the best in the game? I understand their not really comparible becuase of different mechanics, strengths and weaknesses etc, but personally for you, which one do you love most?

Is there a normal defence cap?

I have recently obtained a dusker coat with UV max normal defence (:D) but im just wondering if i upgrade this to a vog cub coat will i get the full benefit of the UV? Its just that i see that the defence bar does not go that high, and im worried if i upgrade it the UV will become less significant

Flourishs vs Barbarous Thorn Blade

So i want to have a piercing weapon in my arsenal to have that edge against pierce weak enemies...but im not really sure which one is better, the Flourish line, or the Snarby line... And if the flourish which of the 3 would be the best..?

Which Bomb / Gun for a Swordsman?

Hey everyone!
I am a swordsman at heart... I have Da, Levi, Combuster, Barbarous Blade, Acheron, and Vile Striker....
I have two CTR med trinkets so most of my swords are CTR max...
I love swords but i kind of want to experience play with a different type of weapon...

I have the Valiance gun...

If i were to get a bomb and a gun to help with my sword fighting, what should i get?

I want a bomb to help crowd control and be able to then pick them off with a sword.
Should i get the shivermist? or the shock tempest one?
