Good sidearm for a Swordman

So i just reached tier 3 few days ago, i currently have all damage type sword except pierce. And i was thinking about my Sidearm...
got 3 Slot for my swords, 1 slot left... i decided to use a gun instead of bomb,
i currently have 4 guns:
Super Blaster
Blackhawk
Pepperbox
and... proto gun (lol)

i was using blackhawk lately cause it's good against wolvers, and decent against jellies, since i mostly do JKs. Anyone suggest i use my blaster instead?
i'm also started farming roar tokens for polaris, but i really want an all-round gun like the valiance or those kind of guns.

ASI or CTR weapons for shadow lairs?

Hi fellow knights. I'm starting to gear for ultimate snarby and have both a CTR and an ASI med flourish. I was wondering - which would be better to upgrade to a final flourish? Keep in mind I will not be wearing any vog (haven't quite decided what armor set up I will use yet), but plan to wear both a CTR trinket and ASI trinket.

My thoughts are leaning towards the ASI uv because of the improved recovery time and because, from what I've heard, its better to play it safe than charge attack into groups leaving yourself open for counter-attacks. Any shadow lair veterans care to discuss?

what weapon combo goes well with DA as it is elemental

what combination would be good if i want to keep my avenger soon to be DA and change the other 2....hmmm

Handgun Choices

Okay, so I have several handguns and I'm questioning which alchemy paths I should take for each.
Here's the list, followed by each choice. Please, answer which one you think is generally better and why.

Magnus- Callahan or Iron Slug?

Pulsar- Supernova or Polaris?

Question about prismatech alchemer line

Does it actually have extra elemental damage compared to the other alchemer lines?
Because in the wiki, I only see extra damage for the last 5* line

Faust UV

I just bought a Faust with bonus damage vs undead very high UV.

I payed 250000 crowns for it, Was it worth it and is this UV any good on the Faust ?

Snarbolax + Dragon Scale, or Divine + Skolver?

I read a thread before about trying to defend against as many types as possible. At the time, most people agreed with Divine Mantle + Skolver Cap. However, now that there's the Snarbolax set, which I was interested in getting, should I do that instead? I figured it will take too long to get a lot of 5* armor sets, so I want to plan ahead. Should I bother with the divine mantle at all? Or is the snarbolax stuff too hard to get? I hate to pay real money, so it's really hard to get shadow keys or even silver keys at their current rate.

ok well, id like your opinion on what would be my best choice to go for, for constant FSC runs (not vanduke just farming fsc)

my current arsenal:

divine veil
divine mantel

blackend crest (soon to me CoA)

ASI med trinket on sword
DMG low (soon to be med) trinket on guns

weapons i use (in order)

polaris... <3
Blitz needle
shivermist buster
divine avenger

Biohazard, What trinket should i get?

im having a hard time deciding betwen gun CTR or DMG boost trinkets to use with my biohazard :S

Does the CTR one reduces the charge time enough to make a diference or should i just go for the increased damage??

i have the feeling more damage would be better, but shooting a charge every half second would be awesome :P
