So, my first thought on entering Tier 3 was that the vog cub set looked sweet.

But it leaves me with no piercing or shadow defenses.

If, for example, I had vog cub armor and skolver cap, I'd have the same normal defence, and the other half would be split between elemental and piercing.

The ultimate spread would be something like the skolver coat and Divine veil, for even spread of normal/elemental/shadow/piercing, but I'd have less defense in each than if I were focused.

Any thoughts?

Ok, so I've been noticing a significant damage difference between my sword (dark thorn blade, or Faust, depending on foe), and my gun (magma driver), as in, the gun shots do about 1/4 the damage of the sword swings at best (even the fast thorn blade). Attempting to generalize damage neutral vs neutral on the same floor.

Is this difference:

a) ranged weapons do less damage, and how significantly?
b) the Alchemer line do less damage because the bouncing shots make up for it in groups
c) mainly the lesser damage the magma driver does in exchange for doing fire

I'm currently in 3* gear, about to start crafting all of my 4* gear when my Mist energy fills back up. In in Bombing Gear, and I primarily use the Freezing line. I've heard that the Calibur line of Sword is good in combination with the Shivermist, but I currently am using the Sealed Sword, because I got it with Jelly Tokens.

Assuming I'm going to primarily be in group play (soloing doesn't seem that great to me), should I craft the Calibur Sword from the beginning up to a 4*, or should I stick with the Sealed Sword? I'm F2P, so I most likely will only ever use two weapon slots.

I just recently purchased the recipes for all the Drake Scale Armour set. However, I dug up some information whilst studying the viability of this set in later tiers. Unfortunately, I am sad that I just purchased this set before hearing about the flaws in its design, but originally I purchased the recipe because it looked neat. I have also already learned these recipes as well, so I can't sell it away to make back my money and change sets.

It just doesn't block normal damage..

I have the 5* Graviton Vortex Bomb, but today i get on and it looks exactly like the 4* Graviton Bomb.

I try it out, and yes the attack is the same and all, but it's the wrong bomb?

The 4* is purple with red balls circling around, while the 5* is red with black balls circling. But now it's back to the purple.

Why? Did they change it or is it bugged?

So, my friend recently decided to leave SK, gave me 753 CE, 100k Crowns, all of his materials and then vanished. So, iunno what do now. I've got a full Rock Jelly Set, a Levi, an Antigua, an SS, and a Needle Shot (besides all of the other starter pack stuff)

Im curious what are the charge times for each stage of ctr for alchemers and callahan, anyone measured?

Just a note, don't argue here "charge attack is useless", don't care for your opinion about it in this thread, go make a thread about that if you feel that it needs a buff.
