Web API

It would be nice if there was an API for this game, so you can view other's items and equipment(Similar to how TF2 has TF2Items). This would allow for other sites to house some functionality, like trade and such.

Throwing Bombs

It would be really nice if I could throw a bomb into the middle of a group of monsters instead of just dropping it. I don't know if they become easier to use as you get to higher levels, but in the beginning bombs are really frustrating to work with. I have to wait to charge it up, wade into the middle of the fray, drop the bomb and hope no one knocks the monsters out of range before it goes off. If I could toss it behind the monsters then the rest of my group could hit them back to keep them in range making combo fun for all.

Elemental damage

Because of the nature of the game and how quickly enemies are killed, the way that elemental damage is handled now is really not all that helpful.

What I suggest:
1. Elemental damage that activates instantly, as soon as the status is inflicted. For example with a fire-based gun, if I shoot an enemy and they get caught on fire, have them IMMEDIATELY take damage, not a few seconds later.
2. Make status effects like this shorter but more powerful, again, because of how short battles tend to be.

There needs to be a better alternative than buying energy, how bout....

I don't know, I am just not sure. I never ever came across a F2P game where it limits me on how long I could play in a day. There has to be a better alternative than having limited energy to use to play in the "arcade." I understand that the company has to make money somehow. But are they also trying to prevent players from falling into addiction in this game (lol)?

Moments that make me want to stop playing and how they could be improved

Quick preface: I'm writing with the notion that good game design makes the player want to continue playing and bad game design makes the player want to go do something else. I played a few weeks of the preview event and spent $5 on CE - at the time I purchased it I figured I'd probably spend another $5 to $10 before finishing my time with the game (either because I'd seen all there was to see or became interested in some other game), but at this point I'm nearly ready to let it go immediately.

New characters start w/ energy

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to this game (started yesterday) and I'm liking it so far. Took me some time to get used to the whole energy use-it-up-and-it-recharges-in-22-hours thing, but what irks me is that new characters don't start with any energy at all. By the time I get to the chasm in the rescue camp (took me about < 5 minutes), I can't continue to Haven because I still have zero energy.

Right now I'm just twiddling my thumbs and listening to the lovely background music...

Entering Moorcroft should be free

I don't mind paying 200cr to jump to T2. I do mind, however, paying 200cr to jump to Moorcroft when the "party" there are actually players who just finished T1 and don't have the means to get to T2, and just hang around Moorcroft for hours at a time. It's really annoying. What's the point of "Join Party" if you end up in one of these "groups" so many times? If I could wait for them to leave, returnto Haven, then rejoin, that would be fine. But as it is I'm stuck with having to start a fresh group.

Lag indicator tooltip showing your exact latency.

I would like the Lag indicator found in the top right corner of the minimap to have a tooltip when mousing over it that both says what the indicator is and what your current latency is in milliseconds.

Tokens seem pretty skewed.

First of all, incredible job with the expanded token system. This is a great way for players to get rare materials they would otherwise be gnashing their teeth for weeks over, especially given the terrible random distribution loot system we have now.

Critter Carapace suggestions.

Critter Carapaces, a 3-star Material that drop exclusively from Chromalisk-family monsters T2 and beyond, is needlessly rare. Chromalisks themselves aren't quite that common, but even having killed a couple hundred of them in T2 in the last couple of days, I've yet to get a single CC from one. Common market interest seems to be of a similar predicament - the demand for them exceeds the supply ten, maybe even twenty fold.
