Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Improving the Guild Hall

Right now the guild halls are pretty bloody useless
how about a few things to improve them?

here are a few things I thought.
this here in the left side of the map

could be like some sort of guild quarters or something, basically a place where we can spawn directly in the guild. rather than the place we logged out
his could give us access to a lot of other things. *the option to always spawn there when logging on should always be able to be turned on/off

Lower energy costs per floor for multiplay

As it is, it's immensely difficult to get armor components for people who multiplay and the fact that each player spends the same base 10 energy it becomes exponentially less efficient to play multiplayer as opposed to soloing for everything.

Add to the fact that enemy health more or less multiplies, and there's really little incentive to play with others, even though this is advertised as a multiplayer game.

Give Hard Numbers On Equipment Stats

The current interface for equipment stats gives a general idea of how strong an item is at a glance, but it would be greatly improved if we were given actual numbers to go along with it. A few of the main reasons are:

A) Numbers are much easier to compare at a glance than bars.
B) Numbers make it possible to easily categorize items in the wiki and other out of game resources based on stats.

I think the best way to go about it would be to place the stats on the left side of the bar, in a similar way that the labels for the bars are implemented. Like this:

A Marketplace/Auctionhouse

It would be really useful if Spiral Knights had a player driven Marketplace/Auctionhouse. Instead of standing around in the Bazaar trying to sell stuff, we can be playing the game more while checking our Auctions like energy prices. Not to mention this would also help a lot of material traders setup a price, because currently a lot of the materials seem to have no stable price except shards.

Spell Casting/Healing Bombs

Spell Casting might be a little out there, since the style of the game isn't so much magic, but instead technology.

Alternatively (And this is probably the better suggestion) Bombs are sort of the "Caster" weapon. I think the addition of a bomb that heals players could be really nice for a Cleric type class.

Bind the Sealed Sword upgrades to the owner immediately.

Obviously these weapons aren't intended to be owned by players who haven't taken the time to rustle up 25 jelly gems, as indicated by the bound nature of the Sealed Sword. I like that one of the most powerful weapons in the game requires a little effort.

However, once you upgrade it, like all weapons it is fully trade-able. Can this be remedied?

Alternatively, if making this weapon more difficult to obtain was NOT the intention of the development team, perhaps unbinding the SS on pickup is in order.

Also, all points apply to the Antigua chain as well.

Dungeoneering Discounts when going to past Tiers

I'm in Tier 2 right now, and I have friends starting out at Tier 1. I want to join them, but the energy cost is the same as if I were in Tier 2 - I feel like I'm wasting my energy to play with my lowbie friends :( So if you get higher clearance, I think you should get a discount in Lower Tiers

Example:

Tier 3 Player
Tier 3: 10 Energy
Tier 2: 5? 6?
Tier 1: 2? 3?

Tier 2 Player
Tier 2: 10 Energy
Tier 1: 5 or 6

Tier 1 Player:
Tier 1: 10 Energy

Converting Unused Heat (When Maxed Out)

I don't know if the game does this (I've seen no indication) but when you're maxed out on heat, it goes nowhere!

I think there should be a Heat to Crown conversion, or divide the heat amongst the rest of the party (And if everyone is maxed, convert to crowns). The conversion rate would be to your (The developers) discretion, obviously.

Personal Color Change?

I really think this should be an option. Permanence is so Diablo 2! I like my color choice, but I might grow tired of it later on and I'd rather not have to make a new character :<

Freezing is Killing us! Turn while Frozen?

Through various experiences: When there are packs of monsters that freeze, you're going to get your butt mauled! Freeze is one of the most devastating debuffs I've encountered so far! I'll get frozen from an angle, be unable to wave away my attacker(s), and continue to be frozen once my freeze comes off! Especially with the Freeze Gun Puppies that do the 3 shot spread involved - the chain freezing is killer!

So I think turning should be allowed to at least let me try to kill/push away my attackers.
