Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

New Material, Sprite Food and Event Themed Trophies!

Woohoo, we all know about the gunner update, but it's likely smaller than we make it out to be. We all love the game, and that's why we play it, but we all wonder what could make it better. I know! More everything!

Heart Stones (dropped by Love Puppies, can be used in place of Enmarocks)

Swarm Feed (very rarely dropped by void enemies, can be fed to a Battle Sprite that's ready to level up to increase their level by 2 instead of one. No idea why anyone would stay to farm some of these, but I digress)

Capes and New Expansion mission

It's a cape obviously.

These could be given out to players who have defeated the expansion mission. This mission could be laid out like the Gauntlet.

Prior to the mission you could choose a monster family or a status.

The monsters in the mission would be spawned based on which you picked.

Example 1: You choose fiend. All kinds of fiend monsters spawn of all status types.
Example 2: You choose poison. All the monsters that spawn can deal poison damage.

Note: Silkwings and Menders spawn in their regular spots.

The Return of Rare Drops

Greetings,

Me again, that annoying knight that wont shut up.

I have another suggestion that has bugged me since my time in Spiral Knights and that is the presentation of Rare Drops.

Here's the bottom line: Players like shinies.

In most games, there are many many players (such as myself!) who will hunt day and night for the chance at something amazing. In Spiral Knights? We have a SINGLE valuable rare drop - Darkfang shield (Although true love locket is a rare drop, it is exactly the same as an easy to acquire item. I don't see how that's unique).

Hey Knights!

Looks like I'm not dead (did you miss me?)

I've been off in my own world, playing new games, getting heavily involved with others. A few days ago, the halloween patch on SK brought me back online. To my disapointment, there's no actual new content (aw.) But nevertheless, Spiral Knights still has a special place in my heart and is still a great game for what it is (If only we could get more stuff to play or do! But one thing at a time..)

Guild Crests! a Guild Suggestion

Hello! My name is Eavanius, and I am a member of the Kingdom of Hearts Guild.
Recently I thought up a genius idea, what if... Guilds could design
their own crests to apply to their armor, as a way to show
patriotism toward their guild? Of course, the design on the crests
would be created using a program in-game, filled with preset shapes
and color preferences, as to avoid having inappropriate or crude
images on the crests. Also, to access the guild crest designer, one would
need Guild Officer, or Guild Owner Status, and access to the crest

What do you make of monsters that split or become other monsters?

We've seen some examples of this, during last anniversary and most recently with the large grave scarabs tied to zombies.

I think that they could really make for interesting and difficult content, especially if they were to tie easier enemies to bulkier or more difficult ones, making for faster or slower solutions depending on your team's overall strategy.

Grinchlin Arcade Camps

Winter(fest) is coming!
I was thinking about a grinchlin room that is simmilar to the PK room. There would be some grinchlins humbugs and other Christmass stuff. The reward would be some new btreasure boxes containing not only materials for winterfest reskins but some winterfest tokens too. That would help new, unskilled or spark-lacking players earn materials for reskins.
What do you think?

Mask passives

Wouldn't it be interesting if certain costumes made dealing with certain monsters easier?

Why not have Monster outfits make it so that certain monsters are less likely to target you? Of course this would only apply to the correct costumes set (comboing sets will not give you both effects).

For example a Divine Warden helm with a Volcanic Warden armor wouldn't make trojans less likely to target you but a full divine warden or full volcanic warden set would. (this would of course exclude accessories)

Possible costumes affected:

Frankenzom mask
Phantom mask
Spookat mask

Spears, Axes, and Crossbows!

There is a variety of weapons on Spiral Knights that rank in category of slow to very fast. The issue I see with it is that it all has to be swords. Yes, guns and bombs too but swords and the Warmaster Rocket Hammer. There are a few at the VERY beginning of the game and that is nice and all but I see them when I get into my higher ranks and tiers and wonder why all the ones now have nothing special. They are swords. When I first played a Prestige Mission and had to face an Almirian Crusader I was VERY jealous he was using a spear against me.
