Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Simple rework for making damage UVs more worthwhile

As it looks now, damage UVs are considered pretty worthless. I'm not saying my idea would make them as desireable as ASI or CTR, but I believe it would be pretty nice if damage UVs would affect two kinds of enemies, divided by the damage types they inflict. Undead and Fiend UVs would be converted into a single type of UV which has effect against both enemies, same for Gremlins/Constructs and Beasts/Slimes.

This could also be applied to some gear and weapons with inherent damage bonuses against monster families, such as Deadshot, Cold Iron Vanquisher, etc. Perhaps not all of them, though.

Sniper Rifles (Moved from the Arsenal Section)

Hello Spiral Knights,
Is it possible for us to get an update/patch fully equiped sniper rifles of different callibres, which works the same way like other guns would work and its a bit OP also it is longer in size than the other guns, for like and halloween gift.

A new line of Bow weapons

I was just playing the game and was using argent peace maker, and I thought, "wouldn't it be a good idea to have a new line of bow weapons that act like the argent peace maker?". Like having a cross bow and an arrow and bow. having unique charge attack and style.
What do you guys think?

More UVs!

The UV system seems pretty weak, and it needs some tweaks and additions. I have some thoughts on how it should work:

Shield Life:
^^ my highest request, there's just that feeling that your shield breaks way too easily most of the time.

Shield Status Resistance:
Nobody else really mentions how much they wanted it, but I've heard some say they want it, and I agree.

Handgun Projectile Speed:
Just one of my personal wants, I rarely use guns anyways. Doesn't increase range.

Shortened Bomb Fuse:
Unlikely to be added, I know, but there's always a chance.

Change "Shield Bash" to "Shield Ability"

Problem: Shield bash currently has a higher risk/reward ratio that makes it less usable than dash.

  • During the entire animation of the bash, you are not protected by your shield at all (despite you holding and thrusting yourself shield-first into enemies)
  • It consumes half your shield bar
  • Stun is very brief and area of effect is limited, having a very niche use in stunning very packed enemies
  • Puts player in a bad position, in the middle of a mob with half shield remaining and not having any weapons charged

Dark Harvest Festival Costumes

You read it. Costumes to go with the masks. I'll cover something else I saw with more detail too.

First of all, the costumes! These would probably be reskins of existing armors and costumes with some new features. There isn't much to say about these, other than the appearance and the styles. Costumes would come in three styles: Cheep, Replica and Authentic.

Changing Defends in LD

Instead of being kills while on a held point, Defends should be changed to kills+assists while on a held point. Assuming the game engine can calculate assists. It would make bombing and defending points in general more incentivized and, hopefully, done more often.

Blue and Green Battle Sprites: Mimic Twins

I may be dead but that doesn't mean I can't still show affection to Spiral Knights.

The Mimic as the name goes is a Battle Sprite that Mimics other attributes and skills of various other existing Battle Sprites with a lesser potency. Aside from models this should be quite easy to implement and should make a lot of people happy too.

"The [Color] Mimic is a Battle Sprite that utilizes various other Battle Sprites attributes and skills."

"Green: Uses much more offensive and utility based attributes."
"Blue: Uses much more defensive and supportive based attributes."

MASKS!

Hey, I'd really love for the paper scarab masks to be permanent! Like non-degrading, They're super cute and I'd prefer it over the authentic one, even though I already have the authentic one.
