New Danger Mission: Haven 666!

Goal: Investigate the source of the mysterious havens.

This mission has one depth, the Lionheart Guild Hall Pre-Crash. The goal, go in there, and kill everyone, be warned that once you attack them, they will fight back. You have 2 minutes to kill everyone. Everyone will have the squad AI from the npcs, and will use the same gear they had on 2 minutes before the crash!

Reward: 180 Prestige, and the title of Apocalypse Preventer!

I'm not complaining about status damage or anything like that, its the fact that this gun has terrible range. Compared to the other two autoguns this thing has so little going for it. Short of being the only autogun you can point at constructs and slimes, this thing is rather weak.

Does knockback on charge really justify shorter range?

A Combative Chamber of Sorts

Yes I understand we have the Coliseum but I would like to see a player vs. player fighting chamber added to the guild training hall. I think it would be a fun way to help new recruits train (or punish them for fun >:])

A True balance for lockdown

Lockdown is by far my favourite pass-time in spiral knights, being enticing and exciting and overall giving us an other means of fighting a non ai enemy.

But with any mmo that has progressed from a flaccid PvE only environment to the all out war that is PvP misbalances and miscalculations occur.

I have to say the first few months of lockdown where actually pretty fun, back in the day when i just had an ash tail and a faust i could still play even against higher tier players with full 5* sets.

Make Tanking a viable strategy

Lets face it, few people would actually choose a defensive armor set (Ironmight, volcanic plate, dread skelly) over their offensive counterparts (skolver, vog cub, snarby). Why? because in this game you are rewarded far more for being offensive than defensive. The Small defensive advantage of supposed "tank" armors allow them to tank maybe one or two hits more than their offensive counter parts.

Furthermore you can just take the "tank class" Shield and use it with an offensive armor.

Balance in Lockdown

Many of you gamers know that there is usually what I like to call a triangle of balance in a game. The idea of the triangle of balance is that any single class is both strong against another class and weak against another class, kind of like Rock, Paper, Scissors. For example in Runescape it's Mage beats Warrior, Warrior beats Archer, Archer beats Mage. Assuming we don't have the buffs of LD, for SpiralKnights it's Swordsman beats Gunslinger, Gunslinger beats Bomber, Bomber beats Swordsman. Of course there are loop holes but that is what's gunna make it interesting.

Event Hub: Add a Filter Mode along with slight changes.

The Event Hub is a really cool concept but it's executed quite badly.

First proposal is a filter, this absolutely a must if anything for now. Event Hub is often filled up with gibberish and it's almost impossible to find the good stuff if any at all.

The Filter would be selected with a drop-drop box, listing a check-box of various common filters. An example would be:

[ ] Completion of Snarbolax.
[ ] Completion of Royal Jelly.
[ ] Completion of Roarmulus Twins.
[ ] Completion of Lord Vanaduke.
[ ] Completion of Warmaster Seerus.
[ ] Completion of Shadow Lair.

we all know that the radaint drop has been increased but there still isnt enough radaints to go around and this wouldnt even be a problem if the radaint/shining glitch was fixed. OOO may not know this but we all know if u forge the second option at 4* lvl 7+ or at 5* lvl 4+ it will always fail
so currently the only reason to forge fully is to acutally not waste crystals and lvl up your gear I was one of the lucky people who got a radaint forge box forging my blitz. Now if u just made the game update to lvls past vanguard and fix that glitch we'd all be happy and probably make u a ton of money

yeah so uh

generic suggestion to have a token trader for apocrean materials outside of the "shroud of the apocrea" event goes here

doesn't exactly make sense to not have one considering moorcroft manor has a place where you can always redeem pages outside of the katastrophe events

Heart Attack

A handful of these threads have been cropping up lately...thought I'd try my hand at one.

As it stands, Heart Attack is the least noticeable SS. (Sprite Skill) If a heart was ALREADY going to drop from that foe, then you would get...what? Another heart? No extra hearts? And at lower levels, you can never know if it even worked or not. Not to mention the fact that the ultimates suck.

A few changes:

- Extra Hearty determines the size of dropped hearts, rather than chance. (Drop chance is the same as a current maxed Heart Attack.) The new Heart Attack would work as follows:
