So I was chatting with Arelic for a long time, and we touched on a whole bunch of stuff, and now I'm funnelling those ideas and a few others into a mishmash of decent, okay, and (please don't rage at me because these are terrible) ideas. Also Arelic, you have full credit for everything on this page <3.

Also I'm fairly certain some of these aren't completely original. Just comment below and I'll get rid of them if so, thanks :)

If we ever get to the year of the tiger. Please please please don't do reskins of the cat tails...PLEASE. Please don't do reskins of any past costume in some lame tiger orange black stripe design and please don't do some lame event.

The best thing you could release is the mane! Basically the same design as what is on say a skolver/vog coat but different colours of course I.e. Divine/shadow/volcanic etc. Plus it moves as if there was a light breeze blowing through it.

Suggestion sunday.

We should get a single day in the week where we can flood the devs with suggestions.

Sure we have the suggestions subforum, but there are hardly any, if non at all, responses to them, making it seem like they disregard them anyway.
We have fan-art friday, so why not suggestion sunday? To prevent the dev brains from overloading they should pick 20, or 10 or 5 w/e random players who can spew out their suggestions, to make it manageable. Get into discussions with players about their suggestion, then work out something with the player to make the suggestion a reality.

Shield bashing

For example, when a knights goes to shield bash a monster with ranged attacks (stationary turrents, scuttlebots, devilites etc.) and a knights goes to shield bash them. Suddenly, the monster shoots a projectile and you get damaged. But how can you get damaged if your shield is in front of you while shield bashing?

my suggestion is that when shield bashing, it protects you from damage in front of the knight but not behind (traps can still damage the knight)

New line of shields for bombers

I'd love to see bombers get more or less a dedicated line of shields that will buff their ability to place bombs or damage output

Secondary bombs for swordies, gunners, and bombers!

I have an idea for a grenade style bomb that would be thrown. Like a bomb. You would charge it above your head, like a normal bomb, but you'd be able to release the charge at 3 different timings within the charge. There would be 3 bars to the charge. Each bar would be a different distance. The first bar would drop the bomb like normal, the second would have the bomber lob the bomb a short-medium distance away where it would land, stick and detonate after charge up, and the third would have the bomber lob the bomb a medium-far distance, and would do the same as charge 2.

Alchemy

I think that Alchemy shouldn't have weapon heat limits and i don't understand why if some weapons have too much heat then why cant you use them as an ingredient in alchemy. Can anyone tell me the benefits of this?

Actually include monsters in monster families

I'm talking about vanaduke, almirian crusaders, and deadnauts, mostly. When inspected, these monsters are "undead" or "fiend", but when you've got a damage bonus against their family... Nope.

It should be changed for three major reasons:
0. Lying to the player is bad game design
1. It feels incredibly buggy, like they should but aren't taking the extra damage
2. It hurts balance, when damage vs monster doesn't actually work

Spiral Knights literally has more possibilities that it should be exploring (but yes i know it takes time to turn these to reality) ... as we know, monsters and the story are main compartments of a game and a wonderful one we have in SK, but (ill be frank) I did the math and came to the conclusion that there are 12 more possible monster families. yes, you heard right, TWELVE other than the current redundant 6. Certain monster types can only have more variety within that circle only to a certain limit (beasts need more love imo tho).

a trade market

It would be like the action house but only for trading items for other items. If you want to trade something you have to find someone who wants to do the trade, most of the time the player who would trade isnt on. how you should have it is style it like the action house, but when you want to make an option you have a insert your item spot, then under it a box that has a drop down window with the types of items listed(accessories, helms). Then when you click on the type of item you want it gives you a page that asks for the star you want.
