I've been playing SK on and off across multiple accounts since roughly 2012 or so, and I love this game.
It's great to come back every once in a while to a new series of weapons, costumes, lore, and I love to see this game grow and reform over time.
It's always stood out as a unique experience, filled with great ideas and potential, and it's brought me hundreds of hours of happiness...

Anyways, to the main body...

Any other new levels, cosmetics, or gear on the horizon?
Are there plans for game mechanics to be introduced/overhauled?

I suggest that the developers consume a large bucket of mayonnaise.

I think this would be delicious.

I haven't tried it.

But I think that, hypothetically speaking, it would be delicious.

Therefore, our developers should do it.

If our developers do not do it, I will feel sad and frustrated, for I will have not been heard.

I want a whip. It would be able to hit players that have payed less money on the game than the user and kill them. Put it in a prize box. Complete the postmodern dystopia you have created. Do it. Now.

It was ok when it was addition to energy. But now you sell it for $4.95. There is 45% chance of getting 1 variant UV ticket, that has determined price 20,000 crowns, or about 230 energy, which is much lower than 1600 energy that player could get for $4.95. Even 2 variant UV ticket makes determined losses. Accessories or costumes from other boxes are ok, cause there is no price for it, but UV tickets have price and this is problem.

There is few solutions:

1 Give that boxes as addition to energy like it was before

I need 453 radiant fire crystals to heat one 5* piece of gear. But it start drops from boxes only at 26 depth, avg amount from 26 depth to 28 depth is 6-15 radiant fire crystals. So i have to make about 50 runs, just for 1 piece of gear. 1 run takes about 40 minutes. I understand that you force players to play, but that amount of time is beyond the desire to play more. I have few solutions:

1 Move radiant fire crystals starting depth 3 depths lower, so d24-d28 will be guaranteed to have radiants;

2 Add 30 fire crystals as dangerous prestige mission reward;

I bought a Tabard of the Aquamarine Rose and I've noticed that when I'm in a mission, the right drape on my back clips into my body so far that it's near invisible and I really hate that. I'd suggest going through some of the older costumes and armors to fix some of these weird happenings so that your only selling point left in this game isn't this bad.

I think it would be really cool if we got a sneakpeek of what goes on behind the scenes in the development of SK. Perhaps share information on the creative process and thought process behind each update. Perhaps priorities and other stuff. It could just be a new forum topic over in general discussion, nothing fancy. Could also do a QnA where you try to answer as many questions as possible, like with the state of haven thread. It has been quite a long while and want to have a good idea of what's coming up for SK, without spoiling too much of course.

Everyday I look to my arsenal... Having obtained most mechanically different weapons, I have a lot to say in regards to balancing and limitations. I'll go through the different weapon types address specific weapon lines and what I think is wrong with them.

Swords

Swords, the most iconic weapon of this game. Well within themselves they are the most unbalanced weapons ever. The curve of power from the weakest weapon to the strongest weapon is way to steep, let's look at a few problems .

I get a burrito.

No Salsa.

No Corn.

I take a bite.

Sour cream goes everywhere.

All over my face.

And onto my shirt.

And in my lap.

The table isn't safe.

It squirts onto the other customers.

I highly suggest that the developers of spiral knights.

Eat a massive.

Pile.

Of.

Sour Cream.

It's pretty simple. I want a version of lockdown that's only for people within their own guild. I find it weird that this isn't even a thing yet. Same for BN.
