Hi there,

I'm trying to compile as much Lockdown content as possible in this thread. There will be two kinds of things:

A) A list of youtube accounts with LD stuff

What? Youtube accounts sort by knight name. LD content or related is mandatory.
Why? Youtube subscriptions work well for active accounts, but it's difficult to find old videos or dead accounts. That's why I do this.
When? Now
Where? Right here
Who? Anyone can post here the link of their account or a friend's account. I'll include it on the list if it has LD content.

B) A list of interesting forum threads about LD

What? Interesting threads in chronological order: Top players, tournaments, discussions, w/e
Why? The search thing sucks
When? Soon
Where? Right here
Who? Anyone can post here the link of a thread. I'll include it on the list if I think it's good enough (or if many players think so).

I will choose a video once a week to keep the thread alive.

Excellent initiative, Muffin! e-kudos to you! I do however suggest that you make a wiki page. That way, it'll be easier to edit for you (don't have to deal with HTML, you get wiki markup instead) and you can get help from others. You'll also gain access to more complex features like show/hide boxes and all that stuff.

I've never edited anything of any wiki, and the html allowed here is easy to deal. I'm not sure what way would be more hit. who uses the SK wiki ?

This certainly gets you more publicity than making a page on the wiki. You could of course make a page or two on the wiki and have this as a complementary thread, as you wanted to post a video once a week. That's more of a forum thing, I guess. You can read up on Wiki markup here. It's really simple and easy to work with.

I'd happily help you out, but I'll ask you to make a final decision whether you use the wiki or keep this forum format first.

Set up templates and stuff. Adding further entries should be pretty straightforward. I've done A through B, so there's still a lot to convert. I've changed all links to link to the home page of the channels instead of /videos. As for the statistics, you can find those on the about page.

I approve this thread!

Maybe add a short description next to the channel? like RLD, Montages, Commentary, Instructional etc. Maybe if they're active or retired. Not trying to be too pushy with the research, it's nice as a whole to have all of these channels in one thread for sure!

I believe most players produce pretty varied content, so I don't think descriptions are interesting. If they're active or not could be something, though. I say we have four categories of activity:
* active
* active, non-LD content
* active, non-SK content
* inactive
Active channels should be ones with say, a video less than two months old?

Quite frankly, copy pasting all this information is very boring. I'll try my hands at some web scraping with Python todya and I'll see if I can automate the conversion process.

Edit: wrote a script, will work on conversions. I noticed that the link to Coolnew's channel is to Dutchy's channel, by the way.

Very interesting to see. There are no guns, everyone dies all the time, and there's hardly any communication or strategy. Compared to today's meta, this is downright laughable and looks like something you'd expect from people who have just gotten their first LD set and haven't even played 10 games of LD.
