THREAD DEATH UPDATE MESSAGE (To all former participants): Guys, I really am sorry for having let this go, but the problem with my internet connection was just out of my hands. I know that this thread is probably impossible to revive now, but I would like nothing more than to reach the end of the story (as close as we have already come). But, if this is impossible, or you guys just choose to give it up, then I wont be ashamed, and will now give some final words and pay credit to where it is due :'). I've never been good at giving speeches, but I'll do my best here.

Having managed to bring the story this far is an achievement enough for me, and I would never have been able to accomplish it without everyone's help. Necroterra shaped most of the story that this Roleplay revolved around. Tevokkia and Za-ck have been very supportive of me (despite my, perhaps, overambitious dreams for this thread) and I don't know anyone else on these forums that I could trust more. Isisdelltion, Ebil-bunny, Windsickle, Treaman, Flyingninza, and Everyone Else, None of this would be possible without any of you, and I mean that. Everyone who has participated in this Roleplay has offered something to the table, shaping the world of the Clockwork Renegades with their own lore and stories (even in the slightest of ways). I shall also thank any readers who has watched this thread alongside the roleplayers. I hope that we have brought a tiny bit of entertainment into your lives :).

It saddens me that we never reached the end of the story, but I guess the end of the story is up to us, in our own personal fantasies. Perhaps someone will put it into words if they wish :). Still though, I would never have imagined that my first serious Roleplay would actually get this far (due to my very-obvious lack of skill in writing when I first started this XD). It's been a thrilling ride to watch this thread grow from a tiny, unnoticed hyperlink in the forums, to the multi-authored novel it is now.

Thank you, all of you. Though this thread may die, I will never forget everything that we have been through on this wild adventure. Goodbye, Clockwork Renegades. though you may die physically (or rather, virtually) now, you will always be alive in our memory...).

And if you are a wandering reader who has just happened to stumble upon this old thread, I invite you to read it. While it may not be the best, or most well-written story in the Treasure vault, I believe that this is worth a look, and may even inspire your own imagination. You need not reply, just do us one favor, and remember this story as much as we do :D.

[The dead thread starts here]

Hello Spiral knights forums. This is Azure-Orbit once again, but today I'm bringing something a little different to the Treasure vault.

This is an RP created by me and used for the enjoyment of others. This RP will NOT be a dice-roll style RP, but rather a "You control your character" RP where everyone (including me) will have a personal character which they will control in a world I conceived. I will NOT be telling you what shall happen, I will only describe the current scene and story, but the fate of your character rests upon you and you only.

The Story:

It is a few years after the Spiral Knights first landed on Cradle. The battle in The Clockworks rages on with no end in sight. The Spiral Knights do everything in the power to extract the energy from the core while the subterranean life in The Clockworks is hell-bent on killing every last Spiralian. The Strangers grow wary of this constant fighting and feel as if the war will destroy the machinery that keeps the planet alive.

A Stranger named Takun decided that the only way this fight was going to end peacefully was if the Knights left their planet, but the only way to do that was for them to extract the power of the core. It would take them a long time to successfully extract the energy, and vicious fights continue in the tiers above. He wasn't sure how long it would take but he knew that there was only one way to end this once and for all. The Knights had to leave Cradle and he was going to make sure of that.

He sent out messages and gathered creatures of The Clockworks who shared similar views and created The Clockwork Renegades. A group of rogue Clockwork dwellers whose mission is to help the Knights achieve their goal. However, this rebellion must remain secret from the Knights and so the only ones who know of it are The Spiral Order who coordinate the knights' movements with the missions done by The Renegades.

It is time to take up arms. You must fight your own brethren to rid your planet of the alien knights. They will not share your opinion and perhaps brand you a heretic, but through thick and thin we stand together for the glory of Cradle and The Clockworks.

Welcome to The Clockwork Renegades

RULES:

1. No controlling events like "A giant gear falls from the ceiling and kills everyone". You will be removed from the RP if you do this.

2. Do not control other players' characters. Everyone hates losing control of their character. Don't do it.

3. Do NOT use information that you know, but your character doesn't. For example: Player1 tells Player2 that he placed traps that would seriously hurt Player2's character. Player2's character miraculously knows that there was a trap there and safely avoids it even though there were no clues to suggest that there was a trap there. This style of Roleplaying is annoying and will get you removed.

4.When you are fighting against other players or NPC's describe every moment in full detail.
Don't say:
"I charged in with my sword, sliced their necks and left them all dead with only a few scratched on me" = No, just no

DO say:
"I attacked the outlaw with my claymore and managed to land a hit on his left arm. He blocks my second swing with his blade and attempts to counter-attack me. He manages to graze my leg and I kneel to the ground. The outlaw prepares and overhead swing to end me, but I roll out of the way and slash his right leg. He falls to the ground and I finish him off with an overhead swing hitting him straight in the back. He slumps lifelessly to the ground" = Good Roleplaying

(When battling with other players Do NOT say how they will attack you. Simply say what you do in response to their attack but describe it in full detail. Don't just say "I dodge it". Be more elaborate but do not take control of them. I know this is an easy line to cross and mistakes will be made, but at least put some effort into it)

5. Do not make your character perfect. Nobody likes a perfect character, except the controller. True it may seem cool to make a friendly character who is smart, strong, compassionate, and an all-around hero. But believe me when I say it is much more fun to play as a flawed character. It makes both the story and character interesting.

6. When you need to say something Out-of-character or OOC, enclose it in double parenthesis like ((This is so epic :D )). However, do not always use it with your In-character or IC posts and do not reply to the thread with an OOC post without an IC part unless absolutely necessary.

7. If you wish to add something to the story or plot, please message me BEFORE doing it. I'm not sure if the site has a messaging system, if not just send them to me via in-game mail. I am not always online so please tell me in out-of-character about it here and even then I may not be able to reply quickly so please bear with me.

8. Put T.C.R. The seal of the rebellion to prove that you have read the rules. Applications without these will be denied.

9. You must have at least decent grammar to participate. I know I'm probably being a hypocrite here but at least put effort into your spelling and punctuation. Complete and utter ignorance of grammar such as: "I walk to bar, talk, with owner abot, mission and-" I'm gonna stop you right there, please put effort into your grammar.

10. Do not post more than once until at least 2-5 players have posted. Do not post again and again just to speed up the story, wait for the other players so nobody gets left behind.

11. You are allowed to swear, but keep it minimal. Do not swear every two sentences.

12. Avoid any and all short posts. Have at the very least 1 paragraph of IC text.

13. You are allowed to have relationships, but don't get too inappropriate

14. I will select mods who will run the roleplay if I will be gone for a long period of time. Do not ask for mod status, it will simply annoy me and convince me of your immaturity and lack of ability to run this roleplay. I will have the decision.

My Application:

Name: Rultaos
Race: Trojan
Gender: Male
Personality: He is a serious kind of person. He does not like being distracted by when he is busy and will focus on the task at hand. He does not like the knights but he knows that the best way to end the conflict is to assist them in leaving the planet. He will not speak leisurely to anyone unless they are his friends. Those who are not friends of his, he will only speak too when he has too. However, despite his seemingly cold personality, he cares about his allies and will do what it takes to protect them

Appearance: Looks like most other tier 1 Trojans. He wears scarlet armor and a shield with the symbol of The Clockwork Renegades as its coat of arms(A golden gear with the core of the Clockworks in the background) that replaces the Firestorm Citadel Rook symbol. His stone mane is painted gold to signify his alignment.

Equipment: A Trojan sword forged by a Gremlin. He always makes sure that it is sharpened and ready for battle. His shield with The Clockwork Renegades symbol which he does his best to maintain. His scarlet armor which is battle-worn and has chinks in some places; others suggest that he replace it, but a Trojan's pride is his weapons and armor and so he will only search for a way to repair it.

Skills: He is a decent swordsman, but he is not as skilled as Trojan Knightmares. Like all other Trojans, he is a slow but hard attacker. He thinks on his feet and remains calm in the heat of battle. He is fiercely loyal to the renegades and would not even think about betraying them.

Biography: He had lived most of his life as a warrior of The Firestorm Citadel. He showed great skill and was offered to be promoted to Dark Trojan, but he declined all of them. He remained with his weaker allies because he believed that someone had to lead them. He had led his rag-tag band of Trojans against attacks by the knights until all of them fell and Lord Vanaduke recalled his forces into the Deeper levels of the Clockworks. He was knocked out during a battle and left for dead.

When he awoke, he saw his allies turned to stone and shattered beyond recognition. He felt great anger at The Spiral Knights for such an atrocity against them, for some of the Trojans were not warriors but simply citizens forced to fight for Lord Vanaduke. He wanted to kill every single knight at that moment, until he saw something in the rubble.

It was a knight. Like Rultaos, he was also left behind by his allies. He was buried under the corpse of a Trojan warrior but still conscious. Rultaos raised his sword to finish off the fallen knight, but something inside him couldn't bring him to kill his helpless foe, which was surprising since he had taken the lives of many knights. He instead pulled the Trojan statue off of the knight and told him to raise his weapon, he did not like killing an enemy who could not fight back. At least that was his explanation for the sudden feeling.

The knight told Rultaos "Why do you fight us?" in a weary voice. "You invaded our planet, we are defending what is ours" Rultaos told the small warrior. "It was not our choice to be here I'm afraid" The knight said. Afterwards, the two of them talked about the Spiral Knights and their mission to repair The Skylark in order to leave Cradle. Rultaos despised the knights, but his eyes were opened that fateful day. He let the knight leave on the nearest elevator to Haven.

When Takun began The Clockwork Renegades, Rultaos joined without hesitation.

Additional facts: Rultaos is more interested in Gremlins than any other Clockwork race. He is not always friends with them, but they intrigue him.

Suggestions: Since I'm me, none

Seal of The Rebellion: Sorry, you'll have to find this out yourself :)

Notable NPC's:

Takun: The founder and leader of The Clockwork Renegades. He is a Stranger that wears an all black robe with a pointed hat. The robe has the insignia of the Renegades on his left chest. He is usually poker faced and has a calm attitude, which is usually seen when discussing pressing or grisly matters. Even though he is looked up to by the other Renegades, he considers himself no better than they are: just another member with his share of flaws. The only difference is that his duty is to tell them what they have to do, depending on what he believes is the best course of action. He keeps an old Argent Peacemaker that was said to be passed down through his family. He has never used it outside of practice though.

Torx: Former Gremlin war veteran and one of the greatest tactical minds in The Renegades. He used to serve under King Tinkinzar and was the first Gremlin to master all four fighting styles in The Colony military. He was considered to be recruited into The Crimson Order for his skills back then. However, a dangerous encounter with The Swarm had left him half-infected. The infection left him physically handicapped and constantly fighting a mental battle against The Swarm to stop it from taking over his body. His motives for joining The Clockwork Renegades are different from most others: he joined to find a way to combat The Void. Being unable to fight as he once could, he now only offers advice to The Renegades, while he works for his own agenda.

The Manor Spirit: Not much is known about this strange spirit except that he is considered the "owner" of Moorcroft Manor. This can neither be confirmed nor denied since he has lived inside The Manor longer than any spirit or undead currently dwelling there. Despite the uncertainty of the claim, the spirits that live within its walls are obedient to The Manor Spirit. Within the walls his word is law. However, his power cannot reach into every corner of The Manor and there are cases of mindless ghosts and zombies attacking anyone unlucky enough to wander their way. The Manor Spirit is said to be kind, given the fact that he has allowed the area to become a temporary resting place for Knights. But it is still advisable not to stray too far from his good graces, or you may find yourself less than welcome at Moorcroft.

Konjuring Kat: A denizen of Moorcroft Manor, originally sought by the Renegades for his vast knowledge on things that many had a hard time understanding. He slipped into a sort of coma after performing an experiment relating to the Swarm in the large library at Moorcroft. He appears to have an interest in acquiring new knowledge and becomes upset whenever he runs into a hindrance in his search. Not an official Renegade member, but is currently assisting them in a mission to the Manor.

Mialii: A female Spookat that acts as an undead medical officer of The Renegades. As ironic as the title is, she is one of the few members that knows how to take care of undead and ghosts; an important role since most other medics have little to no knowledge on what to do when an ally undead or ghost requires care. She is also currently acting as the head of diplomatic relations between The Renegades and Moorcroft Manor.

Captain Achilles: A veteran warrior of the Firestorm Citadel, he is a Trojan Knightmare with cycles of experience behind him. He has won many battles in and is famous among the lower ranks for the strict discipline he imposes upon his men. To him, failure could be acceptable, only if everything that could be done wasn't enough. He trains his men to follow their superiors, but also think on their feet when the need arises. He is a close friend of Rultaos, a high-ranking member of T.C.R. and acts as their contact in The Citadel. He values their friendship, but he must put his loyalties to Firestorm Citadel first when he can only choose one of the two.

Dagren: A Gremlin mechanic and member of T.C.R. He is very experienced in the field of mechanical engineering, capable of fitting upgrades and attachments to almost any robot with ease. He is familiar with the inner workings of every Mech in the Grand Arsenal before his defection to The Renegades. Despite his area of expertise, he has found himself heavily disliking an upgraded Cryo Knight with a capability for emotion. His latest mission to Haven as one of the messengers has not done anything to improve the relationship.

Scharr: A more "complete" retrode that managed to become sentient, and grew tired of having to take orders from their Gremlin masters. It went rogue, and it joined The Clockwork Renegades. However, a part of his programming is forcing him to attack Spiralian Knights (or anything that resembles a Knight) on sight. It hopes to find a mechanic that can reprogram that part of its system. It is skilled in combat and has better fighting abilities compared to the regular retrode cannon fodder.

Captain Raikap: A member of the Grand Colony army. He was never the best of the best. Most of his peers had considered him the underdog of the group. Still, Raikap managed to survive basic training and was soon assigned to a unit. He rose up the ranks fairly quickly, not because of skill, but because he survived longer than most of his superiors. It was not cowardice though, he fought for his allies and the Colony with a fierce devotion. His uncommon ability to survive (or extreme luck, as others call it) became famous among the soldiers he has fought beside. Some soldiers who have heard this rumor accused Raikap of being a coward, or plotting to kill his commanding officers just rise in rank. Other comrades, who truly know him, said that he is protected by the spirits.

Hatetia: A former commander in the ranks of Firestorm Citadel, and one of the only known female Almirian resurrections. She showed an exceptional skill with the spear, back when she was alive, and was therefore put in the body of a Slag-guard. She led an elite group of soldiers into battles against Knights which were pivotal to the continued reign of Vanaduke. Hatetia was awarded her Crimsonite-tipped spear after successfully crippling a Mineral-mining operation in the lower depths, thereby cutting down the Knights' funding for the war effort. She is notable for teaching her men to think for themselves, and not just follow orders blindly. Once her entire group had gained sentience, they decided that Vanaduke's actions were unjust, despite his good intentions. She started a rebel movement within Firestorm Citadel known as "The Phoenix Ash" with the purpose of weakening, and eventually overthrowing their corrupted lord.

If you guys think there should be an NPC that belongs in here, please tell :).
Regarding Mialii and Konjuring Kat, these NPC's were made by Tevokkia and Necroterra respectively so I don't have much background on them, please forgive the lack of information.

Interesting.

Hmmm, so starting an RP? I didn't get into the other one, so I might as well try for this one. Let's see...

Name: Unit Q-77 (Nicknamed "Fridge" by the other members of the Clockwork Renagades)

Race: Mecha Knight

Gender: Male? (Do Constructs even have genders?)

Personality: Oddly inquisitive in nature (often overly so), but serious and determined in battle. In fact, he would like to be your friend more than fight you in most cases, but when faced with hardship or when under attack, he becomes a fierce warrior. Somewhat on the clumsy side (He has a wrench for a left hand after all). He is naive and innocent, lacking any real knowledge due to pretty much being brand-new from the factory. He has trouble understanding slang, and may take things too literally.

Appearance: A Tier 3 model Cryo Knight; however is slightly more armored and more "complete" looking than standard models. Wears the emblem of the Renegades on his shield as well.

Equipment: Mecha Knight shield and Freezing Edge (the sword it carries, I just gave it a name)

Skills: Like other Cryo Knights, he is able to freeze the ground upon which he stands and shoot frigid bullets with a charge attack. Due to his advanced programming, he is able to learn quickly, finding the best way to handle enemies. He is also more agile than a regular Mecha Knight, being both faster and more maneuverable. Even after being damaged heavily in battle, he is repairable, so he is able to withstand more damage than the average Clockwork creature outside of other Construct family monsters.
Unfortunately, he is still prone to shock himself at inopportune times, and this can leave him rather vulnerable to counterattacks.

Biography: Originally created to be a standard Mecha Knight to defend the clockworks. However, he was recently modified with the most recent results of Gremlin efforts to improve their hardware and artificial intelligence and is one of many prototypes for project "Mecha Knight 2.0". Not only is he able to understand and reason much like any sentient being, he was also given the capability to speak and have emotions. Unfortunately, due to a glitch in his programming and being an earlier attempt, he was deemed not aggressive enough and too emotional. He was scheduled to be melted down and scavenged for parts, but one of the lead Gremlin scientists of the project took pity on him, and snuck him into the Clockworks to avoid his fate. He was soon found by a wandering member of the Clockwork Renagades, and taken in.

Additional facts: He will often try to mimic other creatures, attempting to do what they do. Unfortunately it gets him in trouble more than anything (Attempting to mimic a Gremlin Demo by trying out his bombs, etc). He also has an odd habit of collecting bits and pieces of Scrap Metal and hiding it away somewhere.

Suggestions: Maybe an area for known flaws and weaknesses? I'm not sure.

Seal of the Rebellion: T.C.R.

It sounds like a cool idea

It sounds like a cool idea and the RP ideas seem to be getting more popular now but that story didn't make any sense to me. I'm assuming (based off of the race category in the application) that you're the monsters in the Clockworks. Now they all banded together to help the Spiral Knights? For what exactly? To stop the fighting above and get them to leave? Wouldn't it make more sense just to continue fighting them, I mean its better than fighting your own kind. The whole thing just doesn't make sense the way you wrote it, I put so many question marks in this post because I'm taking guesses on what you were trying to explain. Anyway, it does sound interesting though albeit confusing but I'm happy to see the giant list of rules (which, BTW, I did read... TCR) which shows that you're pretty serious about this. Plus you're a modest person which is cool, and why I'm asking for clarification here about the story since I don't understand it.

Last question, would you be able to somewhat customize the character, like a Wolver with a gun (puppy) on its back? BTW anyone who knows where that idea came from deserves a cookie.

Imagen de Xairathan
Xairathan
Application

Name: Alanis
Race: love Puppy!
Gender: Female
Personality: Due to Alanis' nature as an outcast (being a love Puppy), she is not inclined to appear from grates in the ground for fear of being destroyed by her fellow Gun Puppy counterparts. However she is more than willing to hop up in a Tier-3 Arena from time to time, as she knows the Knights are more than grateful for her services and the other turrets will be too busy defending themselves to try and terminate her.

Appearance: Besides normal Love Puppy fare, Alanis' torso is covered in black scorch marks and many patchy-weldings from where Gun Puppies tried to terminate her and from where kindly Gremlin menders tried to repair her

Equipment: Alanis carries only Heart Bullets. However she is capable of triggering a special mechanism that will allow her to retreat back into her grate.
Skills: Aside from being able to heal Knights, Alanis is able to converse with other Gun Puppies and Gremlins and Constructs, but strangely able to speak Spiral Knight- a side effect from their exposure, perhaps?

Biography: Alanis was created shortly after the Clockworks were founded as a test breed of Gun Puppy. However, when the Gremlins discovered that their Love Puppies were attacking and healing Knights rather than killing them, the Gremlins destroyed the majority of the Love Puppies in existence. Alanis then went into hiding, making sure the Gremlins forgot all about her activation grate. Since then, Alanis moves under the surface of the Clockworks through the extensive Turret Transportation System that the Gremlins have built, hopping up now and then to aid some Knights in need.

Additional facts: Alanis is allergic to Greaver and Silkwing residue, although the reason for this has not yet been proven. Also, due to prolonged exposure to friendly fire from Gun Puppies, Alanis has developed a small resistance to Elemental Damage. However, this does virtually nothing to protect her from new Knights attempting to hack her to pieces.

Resume

Name: Scourge, Public Enemy #1

Race: Beryl Greaver

Gender: Male

Personality: Being a Greaver, he is a pest and is incredibly annoying. However, he is also incredibly intellignet.

Appearance: The only way to tell him appart from other greavers is that he is wickedly fast, about 2x faster than the average Greaver. He also bears a long scar on his right wing from an encounter with a Knight wielding a Flourish.

Equipment: Wings.

Skills: Quite intelligent, wickedly fast, very annoying, can do Greaver tackle and mist attacks(shock).

Biography: When he was first hatched from an egg, he was stolen away by a Devilite, who was hoping to gain a promotion from his boss by presenting him with his own personal pet Greaver. But when he was revealed to the Devilite's boss, he spread his mist attack into the air and escaped through the building's ventilation system. He found a cave somewhere in the passageway between Haven and the Rescue Camp (if u look into the background, the entire place is one giant cavern with additional caves), where he built his own tiny lair. One day, he saw a small party of Knights going to Haven, and, curious, he followed them at a distance. When he arrived, he saw so many... stuff that he wanted. However, a Knight who was all to familiar with Greavers after having been swarmed by them multiple times recognized what he was, and chased him away. however, the Greaver couldn't keep the sight of so many things to be looted, smashed, and pillaged out of his mind. so, he invades Haven every night, smashing merchant stalls and eating Snipes. He also steals Knight's personal equiptment, carrying them back to his lair, slowly building up a stash of loot. However, once, he was raiding Haven, when a Knight with a Flourish got lucky and slashed a hole in his right wing. He went back to his lair to lick his wounds and stayed there until it was fully healed. He continues to plague Haven to this day, thus making him the Knights' Public enemy #1. THe Knight's also nicknamed him Scourge, because... well, you know, and that is the name that he has gone by ever since.

Additional facts: Likes shiny stuff.

Suggestions: Nothing so far.

Application

Name: Test Subject 13 (until given a real name)

Race: Construct, Lumber Family, Redward, Tier 1 level

Gender: N/A

Personality: Completely obedient to the Spiral Order. Silent. Selfless. Not particularly intelligent or creative (supposedly?)

Appearance: Common Redward appearance and characteristics. Small antennae among branches. Carries the Clockworks Renegades symbol and insignia on head. Has a special hole on the unarmed side for additional attachments.

Equipment: Standard Redward mechanics, implementations, and parts including its powerful single arm. Also has been appropriately modified by the Spiral Knights to work and fight for the Spiral Order including a tracking device and slight resistances to all status effects.

Skills: Smash.

Biography: A strange object was one day found attached to a fallen Redward having been defeated by a group of knights. A knight absently picked it up assuming it was a Material of some sort as he took it with him wherever he went. One day however, as the knight was helping his friends herd some Snipes into the Snipe garden, the object fell out of his pack and was forgotten and lost in the bushes for several weeks. It turned out to be a seed or nut of some sort and slowly started to grow into a small sprout. A certain Stranger discovered this small, gear-churning abnormality one day, and he began to tend to it in his secret Stranger ways until the Spiral Order found out. The quickly transported, with the Stranger's help, to one of their laboratories as they studied it, grew it, and continually upgraded it's components until it grew to maturity. They then proceeded to add their own programming designating it as their 13th test subject and were eventually able to add it to The Clockworks Renegades as one of their secret though still experimental weapons.

Additional facts: Strangely attracted to Strangers as well as Snipes. Can go for weeks without needing to be recharged and maintenanced but begins to move slower if not exposed to light for an hour every week.

Suggestions: The whole Seal of the Rebellion thing was a little confusing at first. I had to read it several times to understand, but I guess that's intentional. So no real suggestions yet.

Characters, replies, and an update

Za-ck, Xairathan, Windsickle, you are accepted! Welcome to the Renegades.

Lordofnecromancers, I suppose I could accept you, but use MS word or the site's spellcheck system to fix up your grammar will you?

Fofo-Tails, I'm gonna have to deny you this time. You are not simply applying for a fanfic where you leave the writer to fix the character you suggest. You are making an imaginary avatar that is completely yours and cannot be changed. If you improve your app I can accept you, but not this time I'm afraid.

Prismega, Forgive me if the plot confused you so I suppose I should elaborate:
The war between the Knights and the monsters is destroying The Clockworks. If it doesn't stop soon then the whole place will come crumbling down. The Knights wouldn't be able to reach the core anymore and the monsters would be left homeless. Unfortunately most knights and monsters are blind to this and close-minded. This is why Takun the Stranger began the Clockwork Renegades, to speed up the Knights' progress, get them to leave earlier then they would have, and ensure the safety of The Clockworks and the people living in it. You are one of the monsters who share Takun's opinion, or are there for other reasons (Possibly like Lordofnecromancers' character).

Well, without further ado. Let the story begin! ((Speak in OOC chat if you are going to say something not related to the roleplay from here on out))

-

Rultaos walked through the devilite city. Office workers and pit bosses cowered inside the buildings. He had demonstrated his power to them already. He could not believe that some devilites thought they could take him on. With what? Furniture? Not Rultaos. He cut through them like butter and absorbed their souls into his crystal. The more souls he obtained, the more powerful he became. This was why Trojans were stronger in deeper levels. With all the knights they slaughtered, it was impossible not to become stronger. Rultaos couldn't help but be amused knowing that the knights thought of Trojans as dark reincarnations of their fallen brethren. He felt slight disgust at being connected to the knights in any way.

Well that was going to change today. Now that he joined The Renegades, he would no longer kill any knights. Unfortunately, the knights were the most powerful foes on cradle and therefore, had the most powerful souls. It was a necessary sacrifice Rultaos thought.

Finally he reached the elevator and pressed a custom switch on it to take him to a treasure vault where the first Clockwork Renegades meeting was to take place. He thought to himself. He had mixed feelings about the rebellion. He knew that they had to put a stop to this fighting before the entire Clockworks came crashing down on them, but the thought of facing the people you once called friends made him nervous.

He was a few minutes away from his destination.

Alanis

Alanis shivered, safely hidden beneath her Arena grate. She could already hear the sounds of T3 battle going on overhead and debated whether or not she should dare to surface and show herself. Doing so- healing those Knights- would only mean the destruction of the Clockworks. Not showing herself, and not explaining the situation to those Knights, would only make the situation worse. She knew her friend Rultaos was going to this same arena, and wondered if he would be able to help her with her endeavor.

With a heavy heart, and Alanis smiled at the irony of that statement- the Love Puppy hopped into the grate and began the cold, cruel ascension to the Clockworks above.

Q-77 (Fridge)

The area was scorching hot, with large orange flames periodically spurting up from grates in the ground. All manner of fiery creatures thrived in these sorts of areas, loving the heat that radiated from the ground. Unfortunately though, a being of the cold like me, a Cryo Knight, doesn't belong here at all.

I seem to be lost; this definitely isn't the area I was trying to arrive in. My thermal sensors indicate that prolonged exposure to this sort of environment would surely fry my circuits if I stayed long enough. I don't even know how I got here; I was trying to navigate the Clockwork Tunnels to find my way to the agreed meeting place... I think I might have accidentally pulled the wrong switch or something. I had only seen the manipulation of the elevator done once before, and trying it for myself immediately probably wasn't a good idea. Randomly hitting the buttons probably wasn't a good idea either.
I am now regretting not waiting for a more senior member of the Renegades to come along and escort me.

At last, I finally see the elevator in sight, and I run towards it, eager to get away from the heat, and... oooh, SHINY!...

I noticed a particularly pretty piece of Scrap Metal lying on the floor and I immediately snatch it up. This will be an excellent addition to my collection! Happy with my new prize, I march onto the Elevator, and carefully scrutinize it with my ocular sensor. Let's try this one more time... I hesitantly press a few buttons, and I am happy to see the display finally read "Treasure Vault" instead of "Blast Furnace". Right as I am about to hit the "Descend" button though, my body is wracked with a paralyzing shock. Oh no, not now! My Malfunction causes arcs of electricity to spread all over the console, scorching and cracking the display.

"Uh Oh..."

The elevator suddenly dropped out from under my feet, sending me screaming (and flailing) downwards as the elevator descended at breakneck speeds, smoking and sparking the entire way.

Back to the RP.

I flew through the crystal shaft, heading up toward to surface of the planet to preform my nightly pillage. I narrowly dodged a falling chunk of Lumanite, flattening myself again the shaft to avoid being hit.

I burst out into the Arcade, knocking over a Knight who had the misfortune to be putting minerals into the same gate I had burst out of. Yells of surprise ran out though the Arcade, bullets flying past me as I zoomed out of the huge cavern and into the open night sky. As I breathed in the fresh, cool air, I noticed something new.

There was a shiny thing lying on the ground a few wing's length in front of the Arcade. It was big and gold, with a crown inscribed on both sides. I had never captured something like this before!

I flew toward the shiny thing, grasping it with my talons, when I heard the ring of metal against metal, and I was instantly surrounded by four metal walls. I attempted to fly out of the top, but another metal plate slid over the exits and I slammed into it, flopping back onto the ground.

I cursed at myself. I couldn't believe how stupid I was! It was the oldest trick in the book; bait the annoying Greaver with a piece of something shiny and then trap it in a cage! I slumped against the cold, metalic walls of my prison, plans to escape already formulating in my head.

Name: Blue
Race: Skolver
Gender: Girl
Personality: Happy, curious, friendly.
Appearence. Has a coat of light blue mixed with snow white. Her coat is very soft. The only other color is a red scar on her face. Black claws, and white fangs. Blue eyes.
Armor/weapons: Skolver coat (lol) claws and fangs.
Skillz: Slightly faster than other skolvers, but not as strong. She is also slightly helpful when repairing something.
Biography: The scar on blue's face was from a knight. The knight had thought she was a vicious male skolver. But seeing her lying there wimpering. He had healed her and let her go. (Which was very generous because skolver coats were VERY expensive) Even though a knight had given her the scar she has great respect for the spiral knights.Blue lived in a skolver camp. This was basicly just a bunch of caves near each other. The biggest cave belonged the the alpha skolvers. Usually, female skolvers were not allowed to roam the clockworks AT ALL! All of the skolvers you'd see would be male. But Blue was an exception. She was allowed to roam the clockworks looking for materals. They didn't send a male because the knights were killing a pretty large amount of skolvers in the clockworks. The skolver leaders did not like Blue roaming the clockworks by herself. Female skolvers were very important the male skolvers. So they always had 1 male skolver following around. This skolver in fact, was a childhood friend.
Additional facts: The childhood friend I mentioned was very interested in her. Thats why he volunteered to protect her.

Test Subject 13

Test Subject 13 was happy to finally get out of the laboratory. Excitement and nervousness coursed through its simple brain as it walked down the halls following the small knight. A small elevator. Just barely enough room for the both of them. Up, up, up they went. And then they stopped. It was very bright in this room, Arcade 80 the knight called it. The knight was very impatient as he pulled Test Subject 13's bulky body through the relatively small doorway. Both the knight and Test Subject 13 had small legs, but the little knight was much quicker. All the knights were very fast and they always ran everywhere; they were very interesting.

The knight was impatiently beckoning Test Subject 13 once more. They were to make haste to meet others; Test Subject 13 did not know whom. Onto another elevator they went once again as the knight hurriedly tapped the buttons. This time they went down and much faster. Test Subject 13 enjoyed riding this one for there was so much more to see on the way. Test Subject 13 felt a strange but happy warmth within its body despite the cool outside and the wind passing through its branches.

Application

Name: Torx ((thanks, Za-Ck))

Race: Darkfang Gremlin

Gender: Male

Personality: A seasoned war veteran, he is permanently unable to fight, but will occasionally offer advice to TCR. Tends to be quite quiet and taciturn, and due to his condition, has a habit of always showing up early.

Appearance: Normal Gremlin, but with black void-coloring on the left sides of his body and face, with various other scars from years of fighting; also walks with a heavy, slow limp.

Equipment: Very little, now that he is unable to engage in combat.

Skills: The only known Gremlin to ever master all four styles (thwacker, mender, scorcher, and demo), he was the most senior of the combat Gremlins, and even at one point considered for inclusion into the Crimson Order. He is unable to fight of move very rapidly anymore.

Biography: For years, he was the leader of the Gremlin upper combat divisions. He would most often lead the others into battle against five-star equipped knights, and usually emerged victorious. But one fight, there were too many knights. His force was annihilated in seconds, leaving only him and a few fighters left. They were pushed back against the ledge, and he was pushed off accidentally. Falling into a shadow lair, he barely escaped with his life, but was half-infected, nearly becoming a void thwacker. Since then, the infection has slowly degraded his movement. He must at all times fight a private mental battle to keep the Void from taking over his mind, so he often takes a long time to think about things (not having the full strength of his mental capability).
He joined TCR in order to discover a way to combat the void, as he believes that it is indirectly related to the coming of the Knights.

Additional facts: Although he seems to be uncaring and apathetic to the world, he is actually paying close attention. He wishes he could fight alongside his allies, but has learned over the years to live with it. He moves slowly, and so must go places earlier to compensate for any fighting he might have to avoid.

Suggestions: meh.

((Guys seriously, enclose your OOC chat inside a double parenthesis. It's cool though, I haven't seen much roleplaying on this forum so most of you are probably new to this. Just try to improve.

The way you guys write is fine, not everyone has to have the same writing style. Although, based on my experience; third-person writing is good for roleplaying. But first-person can come out nicely too. Past or present tense don't matter either, as long as you can present it in a good way.

Welcome aboard guys!

Atrumvindex, denied. Your character has many problems. First, your character is way too powerful and is basically a "badass" character which is not always good for roleplaying. Secondly, you do not have the Seal of The Rebellion, please read through the thread again. Actually, your characteristics themselves prove that you did not pay attention to the rules.

Xariathan, I would prefer for you not to set a destination for others unless it is in compliance with the current situation or story. I could let this slide though because it is somewhat related and not too much of a problem. Just don't go overboard with it ok? ))

Rultaos stepped off of the elevator and into the Iron Edge arena. He could hear the sound of metal against metal and knew that there were Spiral Knights in the area [A fight huh, that ought to be something to watch] Rultaos thought as he went through the first gate.

He saw discarded bits of mecha knights and other constructs; these Knights meant business. He could hear the fighting happening in the third room.

He entered the second room and saw more construct corpses. But among the scrapheap, he saw a familiar sight; a dead knight slumped against the ledge of the area. [Pity, they do not even bring their dead back home] Rultaos thought once again. He looked through the gate of the third room and saw the intense battle happening. He thought of simply sitting back and watching the fight, but then he remembered something; Alanis the love puppy who was another member of T.C.R., usually appeared in this arena [Oh no, I hope she doesn't turn up for this fight] he thought. It was more logical to wait for the knights to pass, but he knew the way she thought. If she came out of her grate, the gun puppies and howlitzers would blow her apart before she could do any good.

The situation was going to get bad if Alanis came out. If she did, it would be up to him to keep her safe. The knights would probably panic and attack him the moment he stepped into the fight, but it was a chance he would have to take.

Personally I was playing around I general. I didn't really care if the character was accepted.

I should delve on said character to not make him sound like the steriotipical ''badass'' but the similar guy I used in ''The Other Side'' by Jmtheawsome.

But I find it offensive that he was overpowered, this is toned down compared to the one I sent in the original The Other Side! He is a mercinary that is greedy for money and sarcastic talks alot like Deadpool.

Great, I have to make a fanfic to explain this...

Have fun with...What ever you are doing.

YAY! My first try at roleplaying!

Blue woke up with a yelp. Looking behind, see saw what had caused the quick pain. It was just a rock that had fallen when one of the other skolvers shifted it's position in sleep. The skolver next to her flicked one eye open and said," You ok?". "Yeah, I'm fine...." Blue replied." Just a rock." He looked at her for a moment, thinking of something to say. Eventually he settled with," Ok" then closed his eyes falling back into the dark blanket of sleep. Blue sighed. It had been a sleepless night anyway. As she walked out of the cave, a blast of night air flowed through her fur. Her tense muscles relaxed and she exhaled her breath. Looking around at all the other caves, she spotted the alpha's cave. It was probably alot more comfortable than the hard cold rock that the rest of them sleep on.

She heard a scurrying noise coming from the cave she had just came from. As her friend came over to her he said," What are you doing out here? You know that midnight is the usual time the gremlins come around here." The gremlins of course, were cowards. They wouldn't come during the day over the fear of being killed by a skolver. At night when everyone was asleep, they would come scavenging for materials. The gremlins would definitely take down a skolver hoping to make a skolver coat.

A few voices were coming from behind a rather large snow bank. There was no mistaking it. The gremlins were coming. Her friend grimaced. Through gritted teeth, he whispered," Hurry back into the cave!" As they just got back into the cave, Blue got a glimpse of the gremlins turning the corner. She didn't know whether they saw her or not. As they passed, both of them sighed with relief.

As they both settled down on the floor, he asked her what she was doing outside. "Just trying to get some fresh air" she said.

It was going to be a long night.

What???

((By "I guess you're just being creative" I suppose that you meant using it as an acronym? Because I thought that that was what it was for.)

The end of the world was coming, and no one knew it but Torx.

On his way to the first meeting of TCR, he had spotted something very strange. An entire section of the clockworks seeped to be missing -- completely blacked out. Most passerby would disregard this as simply an anomaly. But Torx knew better. He had devoted his life to combating the Void, and as such could spot the fatal infections darkness from a great distance away.

Most of the other Gremlins didn't realize what was at stake. They shunned him for what he was fighting for, while they worked on pointless little trinkets. Torx had grown somewhat bitter towards them for their ignorance.

For none of them realized the gravity of the situation: the void was spreading faster than ever before. It was still somewhat of a mystery to him, but he understood more than most. By analyzing ancient inscriptions, examining lores, and talking to many of the eldest Strangers, he had determined several key attributes about the void. First, it was infectious, and the more it spread, the faster it grows. Second, it is not from Cradle. The best explanation Torx had for this was that the introduction of the semi-unstable isotope of Tearium mixed with the ambient power of the Core to produce some sort of hideous Virus-like thing. Finally, most disturbing, there was absolutely no way to stop it.

So as far as he had come up with, they were all doomed to a horrible death.

He headed to the meeting place, set in an old treasure vault, long since cleared of all its bounties, and hoped that the combined forces of all the families of monsters ((HEY WE DON'T HAVE A JELLY)) would come up with something. If not... well, he had determined that any and all attempts to remove the void from an individual was completely, absolutely fatal.

Suddenly, only a few meters from the final elevator down to the Vault, he caught a glint of metal out of the corner of his eye. His senses, although significantly dulled due to disuse, still were much keener than most creatures'. Not that he had much use for them now.

"It can't be..." he muttered under his breath. If this was what it appeared to be, it might hold the key to their survival. Stowing it carefully in his pocket, he hurried on to the elevator to make sure he was safely early.

((I am going to assume that your In Game Name is the same as this one. Also, is it OK if I write a story, that it can mention TCR in it, just briefly? it wont be for a while, and it would really be more of a cameo.

Descent (Q-77 AKA Fridge)

((Trying 3rd person for a bit))

The scenery was blurred as the elevator continued to accelerate faster and faster. Q-77 was hanging on for his "life" as the elevator began shaking ominously, signifying that the entire structure was coming apart, bit-by-bit. Even more ominously, his shoulder joints were beginning to creak and shudder as well, which was not good at all.

He looked around frantically, scanning with his ocular sensor for anything he could do to stop the haywire equipment. Seeing nothing, he glanced at his own sword, still at his side. He remained grasping the railing with his crude wrench-like left arm, and used his right to reach for his blade. Firmly grasping it, he drew it, and began charging it up, cold energies building up within the sword. With a desperate jab, he attempted to wedge it into one of the elevator's guide rails ((you know, the two metal beams on either side of the elevator that you see whenever you are ascending).

With an explosion of energy and a blast of frigid air, ice instantly formed, causing the whole mechanism to come to a screeching stop. Despite being bounced around a bit from the sudden lack of movement, he was okay. He slowly got up, looking around. He was still in between depths, with only a giant mass of gears visible in the distance. Luckily, he hadn't fallen past the depth he was aiming for, but he was still quite a ways above it.

Pondering his dilemma, he didn't notice that the guide rail he had jammed his sword into was starting to crack from the building pressure, as the elevator continued to try its descent. All too late did he notice the groan of metal giving away, and he turned around just in time to see that rail snap in two. Without the other rail to support it, the entire elevator shaft began collapsing and finally came to pieces. As he began to free-fall alongside various bits of elevator, only one thought went through Q-77's mind: "This is simply not my day".

Meanwhile, several puzzled knights were staring at the display for one of the gates in Haven's Arcade, wondering why an entire stratum suddenly went offline. Several others could have sworn to have heard something heavy fall down, far below their feet... but they just dismissed it as part of their imagination.
((Way to go Fridge, breaking an entire stratum...))

Alanis

Alanis could hear the raucous battle going on overhead and yipped in anticipation. It had been almost a week since she had come out of the tunnels to help some Knights: she scratched her head against the wall, scraping off some chipped paint, and yipped again. Her grate groaned with a slow creaking and began to rise gently into the strata above.

((Featuring the Clockwork Renegades in a fanfic is fine Necroterra, as long as you give credit and not pass it on as your own idea. By the way, you did read the rules and app right?

Some knights in the arcade must be real pissed about what Fridge just did XD.))

Rultaos watched the battle tensely. He had really hoped that Alanis wouldn't emerge. [Come on Alanis, don't do anything rash] Rultaos thought. Suddenly a grate in the middle of the arena opened and he saw a tint of pink.

"Oh no..."

Thinking quickly, Rultaos raised his shield and broke through the arena gate. Metal pieces flew in every direction as both the knights and the constructs looked stunned at the newcomer. "What the Skylark is a Trojan doing here?! This is a construct arena!" One of the knights shouted, obviously panicking. The constructs first thought that Rultaos was an ally, but when they saw his golden mane and the emblem on his shield, their surprise turned into rage.

Rultaos knew that he could not harm the knights no matter what the situation. So he once again raised his shield and charged through the group of knights and the construct forces, sending them flying to the sides. They would only be hurt but not dead. He stopped when he approached Alanis. He put his back to her and kept his shield raised to deflect attacks from the constructs and scared knights.

"What were you thinking coming out in a battle like this?!" Rultaos told the love puppy. He was annoyed, but only because he was worried about her well-being. "If you can still access the Turret Transport System, use it and head to the old and empty treasure vault. T.C.R. is going to have a meeting there." He told the love puppy as attacks continued bearing down on his shield. He knew he couldn't hold them forever so he hoped that Alanis would follow his instructions.

Alanis

Alanis yipped in confirmation and sent her programming waves back into the grates: they gave way and she slipped away, leaving both the Knights and the enemies in a state of confusion. [Be safe, Rultaos], she thought. [That was a stupid move on my part...]

With a heavy heart and an even heavier sling of unused heart bullets, Alanis descended back into the Clockworks, searching for the Treasure Vault that the T.C.R. usually met in.

Meh. Leaving soon.

((I was just going to mention it in passing, so as not to mess up the canonical integrity. I did read the rules and stuff. And did you get my In-Game message about the story arc?))

((During the meeting of TCR, I give Azure-Orbit permission to talk for my character and control him until I return from my trip and post again.))

Torx, having arrived at the meeting place fashionably early was beginning to do a little research into what the object he had found was. Pulling out his Comm Device, he dialed in his closest friend back in the Gremlin labs: Ezylana

"What? What? Who is it?" Ezylana spoke over the device.
"Its Torx."
"Did you have to call NOW? I have a lab inspection in two minutes and you know what would happen if they caught me talking to you."
" I know, but its kind of an emergency. I need you to take this HoloSpec and cross reference it to the lores of the ancient--"
"Really?" Ezylana interrupted. "Those dusty old tomes again? Do you still think there is anything worthwhile in there?"
"All you have to do is check if they match." Torx pleaded. "You DO still owe me for--"
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Now send me the specs, and hurry."

Pointing the device at the mysterious object, Torx sent the data to Ezylana and hung up. Although annoying at times, her habit of interrupting people was interesting, and it complimented his own quiet disposition. He knew she could be trusted to fully help out, even if she seemed like she didn't want too.

Leaning back on a large, smooth Luminite crystal, Torx patiently waited for the others to arrive, wondering what ridiculous adventures they had gotten themselves into by not just taking their time.

The Landing (Q-77 AKA Fridge)

((Xairathan, I think you were supposed to wait until 2-5 posts until you made a new post of your own. I think it is okay for now seeing as the story is still in its early stages and our stories have not truly converged as of yet, but I would keep it in mind for next time. Also, for this post, I am assuming that we haven't seen all of the members of the Renegades yet, and that it is a sizable organization. If this is wrong, don't hesitate to correct me so I can edit this post.))

It was a bright and sunny day in the Treasure Vault. Then again, when there is a giant artificial sun constantly orbiting the dome of the depth, it can't really be anything else. The various members of the Renegades were finally starting to arrive, mostly through various elevators that had been secretly re-routed to arrive in this area. They began to gather in the large upper area of the Vault, getting ready for the meeting.

However, before anything significant could happen, there was a resounding *THUD* that shook the entire sky dome. Everyone looked around in a mild panic, looking around for the source of the disturbance. They finally saw that one area of the dome showed signs of something massive having crashed into the other side. Giant spiderweb cracks were beginning to form from the impact area, and finally that area caved-in. The entire depth was showered with bits of the painted panels that comprised the ceiling, and various pieces of machinery. Luckily, no one was hurt, but it was obvious that everyone was visibly quite shaken-up. As they slowly began to inspect the damage, something else that had gotten stuck in the various cables in the ceiling finally jarred loose, and fell to the ground with a depth-shaking collision.

It was the remains of a ruined elevator shaft, with what looked like a rather beaten-up and dented Cryo Knight slumped on top of it.
"CRITICAL INTERNAL ERROR... REBOOTING..." It droned in a rather monotone voice, before suddenly jerking into an upright sitting position.

After recovering from his impact with the dome ceiling, Q-77 could tell that he was in a lot of trouble. Several members of the Renegades were giving him intimidating glares. He slowly leaped down to the ground, and timidly gave an embarrassed wave of his hand.
"...Hi."
Something else fell from the sky, plonking onto his head and skittering across the ground.
"Oh, my shiny thing!" He exclaimed, happily reaching down to grab it.
It was just then that the precariously-balanced remains of the elevator decided to fall over, much like a giant tree. Q-77 turned around, and seeing his impeding doom, he muttered: "Yup, definitely not my day."

With a resounding crash of metal parts, everything went black.
((Don't worry, he is still alive ;) ))

Not so unintelligent after all...

Subject 13 never got bored during the entire elevator ride. There was so much to see in the Clockworks. So much to learn and discover. The constant churning and changing Clockworks just baffled and amazed Subject 13. Its knight companion on the other hand, did not seem that interested in the slightest as he leaned on the rails of the elevator muttering to himself. Subject 13 was still studying the unhappy knight when a number of unusual crashing and explosion sounds were heard. The knight jumped up in alarm and looked over the edge at the horrible destruction of a whole Stratum. Subject 13 was surprised to find itself rather amused and pleased at this catastrophe as it only increased the wonder and mystery that Subject 13 felt toward the Clockworks.

The knight was very distraught as they finally entered the broken dome through their elevator shaft. Subject 13 however, believed itself to be in the best mood it had ever been in its whole entire life. Quite a contrast it thought as they stepped off the elevator and walked toward the group of assorted creatures. Subject 13 was curious as to why the knight was still impatiently urging it along the paths. It knew the knight lived a busy life and had many things to do, and yet the knight continued to accompany Subject 13 as if it didn't know where to go. "Everyone has their reasons." Subject 13 reminded itself. It watched as the knight made several commands to Subject 13 before finally running back to the elevator and barking out on his Comm-Unit. Subject 13 entered the group.

Scourge was still stuck in the Monster Cage. He had already tried multiple attempts to escape, such as tunneling out or trying to break the cage, but it was a hopeless situation.
SUddenly, he felt the box being jostled and shook as it was picked up. He gazed out of the thin vents of the cage and saw a Knight carrying him toward the Arcade.
"What are they going to do to me?" Scourge muttered to himself. "It wouldn't make sense for them to return me to where I came from, after all that work trying to capture me."
The Knight carried him over to a Crystal Shaft. Suddenly, Scourge realized what they were going to do to him.
THe Knight spoke. "Well, little Greaver, against better judgement, I have been ordered to not kill you."
Scourge let out a sigh of relief. He wasn't going to die!
"However..."
Scourge's sense of relief evaporated. 'However' was never good.
"They didn't say to let you live either."
Scourge felt confusion. He was not to die, yet he was not to live either.
"We are giving you a choice. A glimmer of hope, you could say. We will not kill you directly. Instead, we agreed to throw you down the Crystal Shafts. You may live or you may die in the fall."
Scourge panicked. He thrashed around the cage, shaking it wildly in a last attempt to somehow escape. But it was no use.
The Knight peered through the cage's vents.
"Goodbye, little Greaver."
Scourge felt himself fall, and fall, and fall, the Knight's laughter echoing behind him.

srry if it's bad. was out of ideas.

OOO! I wanna apply! I think I

OOO! I wanna apply! I think I broke a one rule, only monster species, but rules are made to broken, isn't it? if you dont like it, You can scrap it and I will post another app with a wolver, K? but just read it first pls.

Name: The Defiler
Race:Ex-Spiral Knight (chimera)
Status:Rogue

Bio:Not much is known about him, he was in Spiral Knight and was a Ph.D on Virology and Parasitology before Gremlin captured him and went through horrible experiments on him, turning him into a monster. He is mix of every single species except Gremlin, Giving him a queer look. When he escaped from the Gremlin Lab and returned to Haven, Knights thought of him as a loser and no one showed compassion. Enraged, He went rogue and started to hate his race. Using his knowledge on virus, spore and parasites, his poisonous powers, he started to contaminate the Clockworks, making it inhabitable except poison-typed monsters. This gave him the alias The Defiler, his original name now lost, only remembered by the oldest of knights. When TCR was founded, he decided to join it, so he can get rid of SKs. Also, He thinks TCR must encounter Void often as they must travel through the Clockwork a lot. He is very interested at Void, as it resembles Virus

Personality:He is a veiled character, is realistic and very, very unsocial. He barely talks, and communicate through a simple gestures.

Appearance: Being a Chimera, he is mixed form of other species. His head is Zombie, Body of trojan, Left arm of a Construct, right arm of a Jelly, Leg of Snarbolax, 3 sets of Greaver wing. He has few small hole in his chest, where he emits gases that varies from simple stunning gas to a very fine mist of Super-corrosive acids

Gears/Weap: He is one... His Construct arm cannon fires laser, Jelly arm acts as a shield or a spiked battering ram, Zombie head can produce poison gas, his chest emits more gas, His leg is very strong and allows him to move faster than normal knights. He has a one weapon as SK, CIV, now covered in poison like Vile Striker.

Flaw: he could be said as the ultimate anti-knight, but he has few great flaw. Every once in a week, his body cant control the power. TO avoid the power completely deteriorate and kill him, he has to return to a Spiral Knight for a day to rest. In this form, he is very vulnerable because;
1.He is weakened and has no armor and shield
2.He must get out of his zone, as the zone also effects his SK body.
3.Many, Many Knights seek him, as Rogues are hunted down

Also, his mind is very unstable, and can go berserk, trying to kill people. However, he is just like other creatures in this form, only little chance of winning a fight as he doesn't think.

Skills: Plague-Instantly reduces enemies health to 1/2 bar. Unfortunately, the spore is quite slow and are easy to dodge
Absorption Swarm: Produces a gas that drains plasma. It protects his friend from energy-based projectiles, however, swords and Needleshot, magnus line doesn't work as they fire material.
Stun gas: completely harmless gas that only knocks knights out. Is very effective
Poison gas: Poisons knights and intoxicate them
Acid Gas: very lethal, short range, basically destroys anything which got in contact with it. Range: 5m
Parasite: Infests a target with Parasite, which attaches to brain. No it doesnt control them coz that would be OP. It allows Defiler to see what the target sees.

((People should respect rules that are placed. They are never "meant to be broken". If so, then what was the point of making them if no one is to follow. Also, why would your character join T.C.R.? Their goal is to help the knights not kill them. If I started an organization like that, I would have to be crazy to let someone of malicious intent enter our ranks.

However, we could perhaps use your character as an antagonist. You could hinder the progress of T.C.R. but you cannot kill any player unless you have their permission. The players can engage you, but unless both sides agree on it, no one is going to die. However, someone will be seriously hurt and end up in a bad situation. Tell me what you think. If you wanted to be part of T.C.R., then you should tweak your character a bit. You can let him keep his traitorous intent, but make him a clockwork monster and let it be more secretive. Right now it seems pretty obvious that you are there to betray them because of your abilities to harm knights and interest with the void. Try to improve your grammar to.))

-

Rultaos sighed with relief as Alanis went back inside the machinery, but the battle wasn't over yet. He saw the knights' pitiful condition and knew that they weren't going to last long in this arena. It was a crazy and foolhardy idea, but if their goal was to help knights then this situation should be considered. He goaded the knights into one spot by harassing them with his sword. Then he smashed them with his shield. They would be out cold, but not dead.

Once the knights were out of the picture, Rultaos turned his attention to the constructs. "You think you can take me? Why don't you give it a try!" He taunted them. "Mission: Eliminate traitor" Several constructs said in their monotonous voice. [Just as I planned] Rultaos thought. There was no way he could take on all of them, so he would have to be resourceful.

He prepared to swing his sword as constructs attempted to swarm him. Metal flew in every direction as the sword met its mark. Two of the attackers were reduced to scrap as the rest regrouped with their allies. "What's the matter, you afraid of me?" He taunted his metallic foes. "Mode: Berserk" the constructs said. Rultaos grinned as the angry constructs charged at him. Just as they were about to bear down on him with their most powerful attacks, Rultaos sidesteps out of the way and pushes the constructs over the ledge with his shield. The doomed robots fall into the gigantic gears below and were soon nothing more than bits iron.

Satisfied, Rultaos goes through the newly opened gate and left the unconscious knights who would be in for a surprise when they woke up. He steps onto the elevator and presses a button that bore the insignia of T.C.R. It was inconspicuous because most knights didn't bother to check the controls for anything out of place. All they did was press "Ascend", "Descend", "Moorcraft", "Emberlight", and "Core gateway". [No wonder they get around so slowly. They never bother with the other controls]. He pressed the customized button and began the descent into the first meeting place of The Clockwork Renegades.

I am fine with antagonist,

I am fine with antagonist, lots of ppls like a good villain like Iago in Othello, right? So, no player kills without permission, but can seriously hurt them and do bad stuffs. I am also gonna add that he hates Gremlins too

To Dyrus

((Alright then so your character will be a villain. I suppose I should say right now there can only be 2-3 villains in this story to avoid a flood of villain applications. Also, make sure that whatever evil thing you decide to do, is connected with what we are doing. For example: A small group of players is searching for an item. You prepare an ambush and let loose creatures on them. You don't just walk away and randomly kill a passing animal, that would be plain silly. Basically you will act as a nuisance to us, but not to the point of killing a player. Unless you have their consent of course))

Interesting...

I like this new roleplay.
I'll have to sign up!
Name: Tallith
Race: Slush Puppy
Gender: Male, if Constructs have genders.
Bio: A normal Slush Puppy created by Gremlins. Unlike other Gun Puppies though, he was friendly towards knights and everyone. When the Gremlins tried to catch and dismantle him, he used the Gun Puppy Transport System, like Alanis, to escape them. The Gremlins have long given up the chase on him. He now is part of the T.C.R. and loves to explore.
Personality: Friendly to everyone, very curious, but will escape at the first sign of danger.
Appearance: Any normal Slush Puppy, but the blue orb on his head looks like flame, and he has bright insignias.
Weapons: Ice Bullets and a special attack that freezes the entire area around him he only uses in desperate situations.
Additional Facts: Has a special talent that allows him to play music.
Seal of the Rebellion: T.C.R.

((I thought I might try it without being confirmed so that Azure can know my writing style. It also is my first RP so don't be too harsh))

Defiler was moving through the Clockwork. He was in search of Dark City, his next target to infest and contaminate. He already took control of the Scarlet Fortress and some Wolver Dens. If he 'defiles' Dark City, he would be able to take control of fiends, which would become very useful in war against Spiral Knights. What really concerned him though, was an organisation that called themselves the Clockwork Renegade. Especially, a Trojan named Rultaos. Did they really think Knights leaving would solve every problem? In his opinion, it wouldn't. Taking Core's energy itself is a nonsense. It could possibly destroy this planet. Clockwork Renegades? They are helping Knights to destroy their own planet. He wasn't gonna let them do that. Only answer is total annihilation of Knights. Complete genocide. With not a single one left. Defiler grinned. Seems like yesterday when he fought as Spiral Knight. But they rejected him when he became a monster. He pitied Renegades. Poor Renegades...Knights are xenophobic...they intends to kill everything that is not them. As he was thinking like this, he finally arrived to the City and met few Dark Trojans. Trojans dashed to him, their eyes and gem glowing in malicious pink. Dyrus simply dodged to their back, his own gem glowing devilish green, transformed his left arm into Plague Needle and fired. Trojans, still unable to process what happened, got full hits from the needles, and instantly turned into stone. Trojans. Defiler hated them. Not only they are immune to his infestation, they were stupendously strong and if they were experienced at protecting their gem, unlike the ones he just killed, they could possibly fight and win against him. Of course, not many Trojans can do this. That's why he was so worried about Rultaos. He might be able to protect this gem... Defiler turned his head to the center of the Dark City and entered, ready to defile.

More Variety Please

((I think we have way too many construct applications. I originally did a mecha knight because I thought constructs would be rare in this RP. Someone be a Jelly or a Zombie or something, anything besides construct. Also, seeing as Lordofnecromancers possibly wants to see his character killed-off already, some sort of fiend would be nice, perhaps a Devilite or maybe even a Silkwing. If not, I will be happy to make a second character to help fill in the species gaps.)))

Quick update

((I agree with Za-ck. Constructs are becoming too common in this RP. If anyone else is planning on joining, do try to be different.

Regarding Dyrus' writing style. The style itself is very good, but there were some problems. Some of your words and grammar are incorrect and I saw a part where you called yourself "Dyrus". When roleplaying, you are not supposed to refer to your character by your real name. Don't worry, those mistakes can be corrected later since it's your first try at roleplaying.

Litterbit. I'm in between accepting and denying you. Your application is good but one thing that bothered me was: is he a good guy or bad guy? You said that he swore revenge on the knights but joined T.C.R. That makes little sense unless you are going to betray them. Be a little more clear with your character and then I will accept you.

Time to begin T.C.R. meeting. I would've waited for someone to post, but since most of you are already there I suppose I could begin it now and you could just post what you do in the gathering.))

-

Rultaos stepped off of the elevator and into the sunshine of the T.C.R.'s treasure vault. It was their version of "Haven" in The Clockworks. It was their base of operations and no one else could enter it unless they used a Renegade elevator. Luckily, the creatures of the underground never bothered with the elevators and the knights were too busy trying to descend to notice anything out of the ordinary.

A few members of T.C.R. noticed Rultaos and greeted him. He simply noded in agreement and went off to find Takun, the leader and founder of T.C.R. who was also an old friend of his. After walking through the large assortment of Clockwork dwellers, he finally found a makeshift tent which was Takun's private area and T.C.R. war room. The Gremlin and the Devilite who guarded the large tent stopped Rultaos as he entered. The Gremlin asked for his weapons and the Devilite took down his name and time of arrival on a clipboard. He thought that this was an unnecessary precaution, but he never knew Takun to take chances, and neither did he.

Soon enough he was allowed to enter. He went inside and greeted the Stranger. "Greetings Takun" Rultaos told the Stranger sitting on the far side of a metallic table. "Good to see you Rultaos. Have a seat" Takun replied. Rultaos obliged and talked once again. "This organization of yours has grown over the cycles and I'm sure that we have already done much to assist the knights. However, strange things have been happening in the Clockworks from what I have observed." Rultaos told Takun. "Please continue" His friend said.

"Based on what I have seen, The Clockworks is starting to fall apart. Now I know that this sounds obvious, but I have a feeling that the war against the Knights isn't the only thing causing this" He paused for a moment and continued. "The enigmatic parasite known only as The Void seems to be spreading much quicker than we had anticipated and both sides are paying little attention to it. Another thing that worries me is what some of our scouts have reported. Let me read their recording". Rultaos then pulled out a small module from his armor and presented it to Takun.

"This module is from a Gremlin reconnaissance team that passed it on to me on my way to the vault. There is little evidence to support it but we would be wise to keep it in mind." Rultaos said as he opened the recording and began reading.

Log #39
Sergeant Auger: Scorcher
Recon team: Gamma

My team has seen strange occurrences in the recent cycles. It is almost impossible to believe these events, but I feel that remaining ignorant to this could be the destruction of The Renegades. During a mission to replace the Snarbolax bells in the Gloaming wildwoods, we saw something. It was a Monster, and a completely indescribable one. We had seen many horrible things in The Clockworks, but none could compare to what we witnessed. This "thing" attacked and massacred an entire wolver den with little to no effort. It used, abnormal weaponry, the likes of which we have never seen before. After the entire den was cleared out he did, something to it. There was no way to describe it but we could say that this creature, "defiled" that place. I shall name this creature: "The Defiler". Unfortunately, we were unable to observe further actions as this unknown monstrosity came too close to our location and we were forced to leave to avoid detection. I will never forget that sight in my entire life. It is too horrible to be put down in words but I hope that what I have written down will be enough to convince you of the problem that this presents.

END OF LOG.

***

Rultaos put away the log and continued speaking to his friend who was completely poker-faced. Takun had an ability to maintain himself even in the face of such unnerving things. "As you must realize, this problem could be bigger than anything we had ever imagined. If we are to stop the destruction of The Clockworks, the knights must leave as soon as possible. We can handle any problem that remains afterward" Rultaos said. He awaited his friend to reply.

"What you tell me is very worrisome, but unfortunately I do not have the answers to these dilemmas, and I have a feeling that our friends in the Renegades do neither. I shall tell the others of what you have told me, in the meeting to be held in the middle of the vault. Hopefully, someone can suggest something" Takun said. The Stranger then stood up and said "If you will excuse me, I must prepare myself to address The Clockwork Renegades. You are dismissed Rultaos" He continued.

"Thank you, sir" Rultaos said. He stepped outside of the tent and took his weapons back as the Devilite wrote down the time he left. He thought that Takun might call him to the stage during the meeting so he also had to be prepared to address the entire group. He walked to the center of the vault and waited for Takun's arrival with the rest of the Renegades.

Wow srsly, that is some

((Wow srsly, that is some serious rookie mistake there. Thx for the compliments. And about the grammar, on my defense english is my second language. So sorry about the mistakes if I make some))

Defiler dashed quickly through the Dark City. His vents on his chest and back weres creating green gases which started to corrode skyscrapers. Fiends coughed and gagged until they stopped breathing. Meanwhile, Defiler's beast leg was constantly spewing out green worms, which quickly dashed at the nearest cells constructs...fiends. They entered to muscles, brains and hearts, restarting them. Dead Fiends started to come back alive, their body strengthened than before. Few more Trojans gathered up, but Defiler didn't attack them. Upon realizing that reincarnated Fiends were brain-washed, Trojans were attacked by an army of Devilite Overtimers and Greavers. Trojans, surrounded, couldn't protect their gems and soon fell down, turning into stones. 'My name is Defiler,'said the Defiler,'and you are my soldiers for the great quest'. He spotted a Devilite with a badge with a Crest of Renegade. He grinned. 'You there,' the Defiler spoke. 'Tell me everything you know about Renegades...'

After hearing all the Devilite knew of Renegades, Defiler smirked. He turned back, heading for the elevator. He now owned City, 14 Wolver dens, Whole Scarlet Fortress (although It is now safe to say that it is Green Fortress). In his mission, he was gonna infest more...Next stop: Treasure Vault

(( that was pretty short...so in a nutshell, he infests the Dark City, Kills all Trojans and fiends, revives Fiends except Trojan, he sees a devilite who is a member of the renegades, he demands an information. I think killing all Trojan in Dark City might give Rultaos to attack Defiler. Next chap made my anyone, I would really like it if they go to Scarlet Fortress, which is now infested. But, it is all entirely up to you. Just giving the idea!))

The Meeting

Torx was immensely satisfied with how things were turning out, but also worried. After sending Ezylana the data about the object, he quickly received a message back from her confirming his suspicions. It was short and to the point:

---The object is indeed a Searcher. It matches the books. Might be the only way. Send TCR now.
Colony is in turmoil. Rumors about King Tinkinzar are abound. Many are now saying that he is incapacitated, and that the Crimson Order is really in control. City is under lockdown due to some threat called "the defiler." Further investigation of the situation is suggested.
--Ezylana

The terse nature of the message worried him, not being in line with her normal talkativeness at all. The city must really be under serious emergency protocol.

But he had no time to worry, as the meeting was about to begin: several speakers ((meaning the Role-players, if you guys want)) would be called up, followed by a conclusion by Takun on orders for the time being. He at least admired the regular, controlled pace and schedule of the whole operation.

Torx was first to be called up. Stepping up to the podium, he prepared to address the crowd:

"As you may or may not know, the main enemy of the inhabitants of Cradle is the Void. The horrible, infectious ooze that is killing the very way of life that we know, caused by the unstable mixture of energies from the Core and the Tearium that was on the Skylark. Until now, we have not had anyway to fight it. Until now, we did not even believe there was a way to fight it. But I have found a way!"

When he said that, a brief wave of excitement washed through the crowd.

"On my most recent expedition, I found a small cube," and he pulled out the mystery object as he spoke, "which I believe holds the key to saving our planet: a Searcher. If you watch carefully, all I must do is speak a simple-" Torx paused here as he searched for the right word ((meta-writing for the win)), "incantation? no matter, allow me to demonstrate."

Holding up the cube to his mouth, he murmured a short phrase in an ancient dialect of the Gremlins, so old, only a few dedicated scholars still understand it. When he finished, the cube began to spin and whirl in different directions, breaking into tiny pieces whizzing past each other. It created a low hum as it accelerated, and the crowd leaning inward to better see the mesmerizing dance of the cube. Finally, just as it was about to reach unimaginable speeds, it shattered, the different parts flying into clouds several feet apart, then coalescing into several bunches of matter suspended in the air.

The crowd was absolutely speechless.

"This, this wonderful piece of ancient technology, will allow us," Torx gestured to the entire collected mass, "The Clockwork Renegades, to search out the weapons we need to stop the Void."

But someone in the crowd wasn't convinced of its significance, calling out his disagreement: "Why does that matter? If the void is being caused by the Knight's presence, then why do we need to do anything different than we have? why is this suddenly our main concern?"

Torx, however, was unperturbed by the interruption. "Exactly the point. We do need to get the Knight's off of Cradle, by getting them to the Core. And who is standing between them and the Core? King Tinkinzar. But recent information may shake this established fact up a little: you see, the Great Colony is under siege by rumors stating that the Crimson Order is actually controlling the city, and paying no heed to King Tinkinzar. This is a serious problem if my suspicions are true: that the Crimson Order is actually infected, and that they are the center of the Void's mind."

This really sent the crowd into a frenzy. People started shouting objections. "How do you know that?" "What do you mean 'the Void's mind'?"

Torx responded with the calm that he had mastered over his many hundreds of cycles. "These are nearly my suspicions, but they are the best we have at the moment, and I suggest that TCR acts upon the information."

"And how are we to do that, exactly?"

"The Searcher will fragment into several independent units, each of which will guide you to one of the pieces of the key to the Sanctuary Vault, the secret stash that holds all the weapons needed to combat the Void. I highly recommend that we are split into groups and sent out to retrieve the pieces immediately. That concludes my portion of the briefing."

With that, Torx walked off the podium, making way for the next speaker.

Repair and Afterward

((This takes place slightly before Necroterra's post))

Everyone remained staring at the giant pile of scrap left over from the collapsed elevator. After they snapped-out of their state of shock, they started to clean-up the mess, clearing out the dented metal pieces and such (with some gremlins grumbling about all their hard work maintaining the Clockworks being ruined). Eventually, they had managed to clear-off the area, so that it wouldn't get in the way of the meeting that was about to begin.

When Q-77 came online again, he felt... odd. Not only was he not receiving input from his arms, but he felt... "empty" somehow, like something that had been once there was removed from his mind.

"ERROR, PRIMARY EMOTION DRIVE MISSING" His system displayed.
Oh... that's why. If he could be distressed at this moment, he would have been; but all he felt was a sort of cold neutralness and detachment.

"Bah, you are online at last? I was somewhat hoping you were offline for good, you useless piece of junk!" Declared a gruff and low voice to his right. Turning around, he gazed upon a Gremlin, who was at the moment banging the dents out of one of his missing arms with his Thwack Hammer. Jabbing his tool at Q-77, he said:
"You caused us a lot of trouble you know that? You could have revealed to everyone where our secret meeting was! You're lucky no one decided to investigate, or I would have personally turned you into a refrigerator!"

Screwing the arms back into their respective sockets none too gently, the gremlin turned around and fished-out a small microchip of some sort from his pocket.
"Your cranial unit was heavily fractured when they fished you out of that pile." He reluctantly explained. "The parts standard to other Mecha Knights were easy enough to replace, but you almost lost this irreplaceable component. There were very few made during the experiments that created you, and without it, you are just a basic Mecha Knight. If Takun himself didn't insist on you being fixed to the way you were before, I wouldn't have bothered. Personally, I think this thing is more trouble than it's worth."

He then opened-up a hatch in the back of Q-77's skull and jammed it in. "It was cracked, and did a patch job on it; I am not sure if I fixed it right." He then stepped back to observe the results.

All of a sudden, Q-77's body seized up, and he stood up straight from his sitting position, surprising the gremlin. The construct then ran up to the gremlin and gave him a big spine-crushing hug.
"THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!" Q-77 squealed in delight. "I'M SO HAPPY YOU FIXED ME UP, I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL!" He was swinging the gremlin back and forth in his joy, causing the gremlin to turn a light shade of blue underneath his fur and make odd gasping noises. "can't... breathe...." he whispered.

Q-77 dropped the gremlin all of a sudden, and exlaimed: "Oh no! I'll be late for the meeting! I'd better hurry!" He then proceeded to skip away merrily (yes, much like a little girl) towards the main meeting area, where Torx was about to make his speech.

The Gremlin looked-on, staring incredulously at the ridiculous sight. "Note to self, turn it down next time" he muttered, slowly getting up. He wasn't prepared when the Mecha Knight ran back and gave him another tight hug. Unfortunately, Q-77 malfunctioned at this time, badly zapping the gremlin he was holding too. Looking sheepishly at the now dazed (and smoldering) gremlin, Q-77 gently dropped him to the ground, and hurried to the meeting.

On the way there, he noticed his precious piece of metal sticking out of a pile of junk that was cleared out of the way for the time being. Grasping it tightly with his wrench-hand, he continued to approach the now-growing crowd.

Meanwhile, the gremlin just laid there... smoldering...

Dyrus, please respond to what I said about your character.))

Rultaos watched as in awe as the Gremlin's machine did its work. Could they really stop the Void using these weapons inside "Sanctuary Vault"? It was such an outlandish theory, but it was their only option of fighting the Void at the moment. After Torx stepped off of the stage, Takun stepped back on stage. "Torx, if what you say is true then it would be wise to begin the search immediately. Since you are the one who proposed it, I shall give you the honor of selecting the renegades for this mission of yours. I expect you to have the participants listed down and sent to me as soon as possible" Takun returned his attention to the crowd. "Now fellow renegades. I have another piece of news that we would do well to keep in mind. I shall let Rultaos explain the situation" Takun concluded, and with that he gestured for the Trojan to come onto the stage.

Rultaos stepped forward and began addressing the crowd. "Thanks to Torx's speech, you are now all aware of the danger that the Void presents so I wont go into detail about that anymore. However, there is another thing that has been troubling me and I believe that you should all know as well". He pulled out the module and gestured for a Gremlin to approach him. The Gremlin tinkered with it, but soon enough a large hologram was created and the entire log was seen by the crowd. Some gasped, while others seemed unaffected. "As you can see, we may have a new threat on our hands. This is unlike anything we have ever encountered before so proceed with caution. Under no circumstances are you to engage The Defiler. Report in to any nearby renegades and leave"

While he spoke, an impostocube interrupted him. "How do we know if this is real? We have no proof of this 'Defiler' do we?". Rultaos looked intimidatingly at the jelly and said "If you wish to approach this matter haphazardly then I will not stop you. But, if you compromise T.C.R. in any way, I will end you myself" The scared jelly hid behind a few other renegades and remained quiet. "That concludes my briefing" With that, the Trojan stepped off of the stage and walked to Torx.

"I would like to be part of the search for Sanctuary Vault. If what you say is real, then this could be our only hope of stopping the Void. I shall leave the decision to you; if you do not select me then that is your choice. I simply hope that you make the right decisions on who else is going to come for the ride" Rultaos told the Gremlin.

((I suggest that the Roleplayers will be together in one group for the quest you are making Necroterra. But that's your choice since it's your story suggestion. Please forgive any mistakes I made here. I wrote this down in a hurry.))

Defiler was annoyed. He just

Defiler was annoyed. He just found out about the secret base of his most dangerous enemies, but couldn't go release terror there because stupid elevator wasn't working. He would be destroying everything in his sight if he didn't find this strange jewel. What did it do? He wondered. It certainly did something, it was very dense and emitted more radiation than Uranium. He went into the Dark City Library, one of the biggest libraries in Cradle. One of the reasons Defiler chose to infest Dark City was this library. Once a researcher who worked for Spiral knight, Defiler hasn't lost his fondness to books. As he started to reading the book written in Ancient Gremlin, he began to translate it quietly.

'Void, children of shadow and madness themselves, are the most feared creatures in Cradle. It has ability to infest and control anything that is movable. It was sealed in the Core after the Great War. Core now acts as its prison. It is presumed that it would escape eventually, although we do not know when. We have developed a weapon to cut through Void-infested particles effectively, although it is faulty and accidently reduced a town's population to zero. We have made a Sanctuary by distorting time and space, only way to completly block Void out. We have locked the weapons in there, hoping it wouldn't be used. It can be located through 5 Cubes. Finding all Cubes will temporarily distort the time and space so that organism could enter the Sanctuary without being erased from time, which is possible, but never happend in history (it must have happend before, we just can't remember it as the erased person never existed.)'

Interesting, Defiler thought, a Void-proof space that has been isolated from this space-time...It was theoratically possible, but how did they manage that? Also, this didn't answer what this jewel did. He looked up at the another chapter, which included a small blueprint. The title said, Dimensional Distorter. Defiler looked at the blueprint closely, and smirked. The focusing lens that actually could provide enough force to rip the fabric of time and space steadily was a jewel. Specifically, the jewel Defiler was holding right now. The Maiden's Tear. There was total 3 more materials needed to assemble the Distorter. One of them was a metal called Gremlonium. And Defiler knew exactly where he could get that.

((I hope this is what Azure wanted...Defiler cant go to the Vault as the elevator doesnt let him... And he now found another thing to go after, material for the distorter. the mats, obviously are Nightmare Mane, Gremlonium, Celestial Ore and Maiden's tear.))

Sorry all. I'm a bit busy

((Sorry all. I'm a bit busy with some things in life and haven't the time to post/read a lot and I didn't think Subject 13's person would be very useful right now. You may post for me Azure-Orbit if you think that Subject 13's perspective would enhance or advance the story in any way.))
