We kinda need 'em. And because we're in the Apocrean Realm, it can't be just anyone -- otherwise they wouldn't be there in the first place. I have an App that could be implemented despite the odd location, and I already have a scenario prepared for how to introduce said character.

Min Rhosan [Pronounced "Mm-in Row-sahn"]
Gender:
Unknown due to equipment, so I'll be using "it" to address Min's gender.
Equipment:
Min uses nothing but its own body while attacking. For this reason, Min has iron layered grids on its fists, legs, and shoulders for painful-impacts. The layers looks sort of like square-cut fence slices piled over one another until there is no way to see below them. Needless to say, each layer is thin as to not become too heavy, and behind the layer that would connect with Min's skin is a soft layer of wolver fur.
The helmet itself actually has no eye-holes, as Min doesn't use its eyesight when in combat. The helm itself looks Garl Vinland's helm but without the plate-like thing above the face plate. Instead, the top is covered by a chain mail hood which extends to about brow-level.
Min's chest is covered by wolver-hides with the appearance of leather bindings. This wrap is dispersed across Min's entire body. Over the wrap, however, is a chain mail weave, darkening the color of the wrap -- making it sometimes confused as Min's actual skin color. The binds are just loose enough to allow easy movement, while concealing every inch of its body.
Arms and legs are covered by what appears to be thin rings at tad larger in circumference than what they're covering, each woven within 1" of one another using thin chains, connected to Min's chest-mail. When asked what they are, Min usually replies "... It's ceremonial."
Iron wrist guards and boots with small engravings are over their respective areas, beneath them, like the iron-grids, is a layer of wolver fur to add cushioning.
A silver silk-like scarf with interwoven silver threads hangs around Min's neck, it would be about 5' long if unfurled, but is wrapped so that the only handing part is behind Min, and reaches its waist area. On each end is an emblem that is unknown to all who examine it... Rumor has it that the emblem changes its appearance from person to person. But it's rather that an iron ring about the size of a fist was placed on each end, and the emblem shifts and twists within the thin circle, making it "change appearance".
Min's appearance is, in other words, this.
Other Features:
Min's height is, at this time, 6'4".
Bio:
A creature shrowded in mystery, Min has wandered several realms within its lifetime, each time appearing when major events are to occur. In truth, Min has been around since before Vanaduke succeeded to his throne, and wandered cradle after it became connected with Cradle several eons ago. It is the last remaining member of the Yuke Tribe, as well as its progenitor. The Yuke are an ancient tribe whose presence, even while in operations, was never proven to exist.
The Yuke are, in many ways, similar to Gremlin Kind; but the Yuke decided to focus more on a spiritual form of energy-inbuing than the Gremlins, who preferred mechanical means to derive and provide energy. The reason for this split in actions is surrounding a Deity that the Yuke have always had a connection to. The identity and details of said deity, however, are lost to time -- only Min has a grasp on what it is, and continues paying tribute to it daily. In response, the deity allows Min free passage to intervene in events it feels are deserving of its blessing.
Personality:
Min isn't one to talk... At all. And during the scarce conversations that can be had, Min's words are usually very muffled due to its helmet, which Min never takes off, even if it's sleeping. The only time Min really speaks in a clear tone is while practicing whatever religion it seems devoted to. During prayers, Min's voice can be heard clearly, as if its helmet wasn't even there.
Despite Min's regular silence, its actions are kind; it tries its best to stay out of combat, and assists anyone that is in need of help, even if it would prove detrimental to Min's life.
Abilities:
Despite being Blind (due to its helmet), Min can easily feel vibrations in the air/ground around it due to continuous training over its seemingly endless life-cycle. Its armor and physical fitness allow him to move quickly. Min is, in other words, a Blind Ninja.
Min is capable of using a variety of different spells as well, due to the blessing it received from the Diety it served; Min prefers to use Time-involving spells, such as those which would disorient fields and slow down objects that enter, or simply slowing its opponents. But it dares not use such powers easily -- taking advantage of the one it serves to simply aid it in combat would be selfish.
Other Notes:
Min loves Burnt Bread. Why? Who knows.

We do have a bit of a shortage on protagonists, and I don't think I can introduce a new character that easily.
However, I've been thinking about having maybe one of Syber's Acoytes betray the Apocrea. Even more, have it be one of the snipers, who have access to the 3d map layout...
Of course both Syber and Beck are mercenaries, give them a better offer and poof, no more Omnidrones. (That's what I've decided to call the gizmos that Beck uses. The ones that provide the birds eye view of the knight and the video confirmation/ layout of inner works of obsidian castle.)
Otherwise, go right ahead with Min
Min looks awesome. I think I have an idea of how we can introduce it. We could have Min exploring the obsidian castle or something
Originally, I planned on having Min start out of the castle...
It's not that I hadn't considered having Min inside, but it would be complicated if it was. He would have been discovered by now (from the Apocreans and/or Beck's scanning probe-thing) and so he would have already:
A) Been engaged by the Antagonist Group, or
B) Been affiliated with the Apocreans (which would make Min an Antagonist)
But after thinking it over some more... I've discovered a reason for Min to be inside. I'll make a post for it soon. Thanks for bringing the "inside the castle" idea back into my attention, Saucce!
And Fun Fact: According to my plot, Kora actually is in Apocrea. But let's just pretend I didn't say that, as I won't be including her whatsoever. At least for the fight and whatever.
@Colray - So what special abilities are you gonna give Margrel?

Well, I've been thinking about it. Although magic is a bit limited according to the rp, I don't really take that into consideration :)
Since Margrel is known to be a prominent Kat in the Kat Klan, I mentioned in a post that she knew the basic kat magick. But that was limited to simple weapon summoning spells. Or ability boosting enchantments. The latter being based off of the Kat cowls/raiments.
Her limited knowledge of Owlite spells would probably be the same amount of knowledge as the Kat spells but instead focuses on defensive shielding and parries.
The Apocrean runes will be the newest skill. Margrel is a natural at spells, but will not master these as quickly. Due to her knowledge of the previous areas, the spellbooks she will look for first will be attacking and summoning, other creatures than Kats.
She owns a short sword, and its shape can be modified through a simple spell. (Because I couldn't decide between a Khopesh or maybe a simpler, straight sword. :3)

P.S. I know a Khopesh is more interesting, but it just doesn't seem to fit the character of Margrel. An elegant, simplistic, sword would be more fitting. Maybe with a hidden enchantment or two. I think I'm staying with a morphing sword, offensive and defensive styles.

Yeah the morphing sword idea would be better, to me at least. I still haven't decided how Armerio's Swarm Body sword will look, should anyone push him that far.
Gwen? Fight Strom? I was not informed of this until the last minute. Gwen's planned fight with the hierarch isn't actually going to be a straight-up fight. And Strom isn't the hierarch. Not by a long shot.
Armerio made a plan earlier, where he paired up all the villains with one of the knights and set them to duel. Ares-Hsg, you can fill in the rest but here are the ones I remember.
Margrel is going to be facing Luke
Syber will be facing Pippin
Vargas is facing Ares
Scorpio versus Creos
Armerio will be facing Lyn
Strom versus Gwen.
This is the antagonists plan, and in my eyes, a way to separate the fights to make them easier to write for those involved.
But since when do things go according to plan?
I'm sure you can figure out a way to bypass Strom. He'll be constructing a maze to separate the knights group.

Please DO NOT acknowledge the fact that a conspiracy is happening between Syber's Acolytes. I want this to play out without interruptions.
Details about Acoylte Conspiracy plan known as Delta.
Leader: Sheogorath, a very old Acolyte from the time of Syber's first interaction with Apocrea. He wields a Heavy Obsidian edge, he can deal devastating blows with ease using it.
Almost a third of Syber's Acolyte team have received orders of a new plan to eliminate Syber as a threat. And to an extent Beck, but the main focus is on Syber, otherwise known as Unit 0.
Of all goes well, Syber's 'team' will be whittled down to knights only loyal to Sheogorath. This will add a bit of a spin in my isolated part of the playing field.
Are you ok with this Ember? As your character will be present during this event.
Is that everything? Oh wait!
New character: Slink Everrealm
Acolyte sharpshooter from the Sight branch of Apocrea. He's young, and has received knowledge of the attack, is trying to figure out a way to get word to Syber, may go to Beck or knights.
Weaponry: Sniper rifle, twin obsidian daggers.

The plan for who would be attacking who was in Post #645. Basically, Strom has set up a way to separate the group via a Maze leading to Swarm Doors (depicted in Post #650) to disperse the knights to their respective enemies. The preparations were completed in Post #680.
Oh. Pippin also made food for Gwen, and that should still be... Somewhere. Probably on the ground if Gwen ended up going in a tele-talk with a Heirarch and found herself a lot closer to whatever-makes-the-ground-in-the-Apocrean-Realm on her return.
As a spoiler-note, I don't plan on having Strom "fight" Gwen, per se. That's not what he's interested in. But the group will be separated, and there's no telling how many of them will survive their respective fights-- let alone live long enough to regroup (seeing as they don't even know the layout of the castle).
As for the the maze itself, it will Swarm affiliated, but is predominantly a void-like substance from the Book of the Swarm; Swarm-rejecting energies will be a bit effective in destroying it... But not hugely effective, and Strom will just re-make the maze if it starts getting destroyed. It's just to separate individuals, like Colray figured.
Other notes:
Min Rhosan (depicted a short ways up) has entered the fray, and is situated a ways behind Strom. Because he was dealing with the Heirarch(s), I'd recommend reading Post #665 for possible plot-integration.
Not much has really happened since Gwen's last movement, all things considered. The group drove off two teams of Swarm undead, which were teleported to be used as materials for the Swarm-Doors, the group ate food, and now they're heading for the castle.

A "lot" was done with the Antagonists, but it basically revolved around introductions, explanations, and planning. But the Protagonists? Not much. Fighting. But not much. Talking... But not much.

I've also got the strangest feeling going about me. One of my characters could be sending another one of my characters to their death... While being watched by another one of my characters. It's like an Ember party of death with me sitting back and having to write on it. IT'S WEIRD, OK?
I had this idea that Creos reactivated a spark of obsidian in a certain character's body that also has to do with Delta. So yeah.
Would you mind elaborating? I want to know the details to this, because i want to know more about this spark of obsidian.

@Ember-Break: allright, that gives me an idea, maybe Delta will go into action when Pippin has finished a proposal, and then Syber is forced to ally and accept Pippin's offer.
@Colray There was a reason, all those posts ago, that Creos asked whether or not Syber had previous links to the Apocrea. The reason Creos accepted this was because he DID have links to the Apocrea. You see (/puts on teacher glasses) anyone who has been given the powers of a Harvester, even botched, has something known as the spark of obsidian in them. It acts as a nano-tracer as well as another function. If the person denies the powers of the Harvester, is they get them deactivated, they can be reactivated if the person who does has the blood of a Hierarch. (/take of teacher glasses) Does that work?
Creos still needs to have an arena of some sort, by the way. Scorpio is supposed to fight him, but so far Creos hasn't made any indication of wanting his own arena... I'll need to have Strom set that up before the group enters the castle.

Sheogorath has received orders to eliminate Syber, not from the Hierarch, that's another secret. for the possibility of him betraying the Apocrea. An obsidian spark inside Syber has nothing to do with anything. The only thing I see it being, is a way for your character to have leverage over mine. Which may be me misunderstanding, but that's what I got out of your teacher glasses post.

Here's what's going to happen. During a point in Syber's 'duel' with Pippin, maybe if he is about to win, or lose, Sheogorath will make a signal, and a third of Syber's strike team will eliminate the other two thirds, leaving only Acolytes who are hostile to Syber. Of course, Slink will survive and find a way to warn either Syber or Beck, I haven't decided on that.
Beck will believe that the Hierarch did this, and will shut off his support.
Syber, being hunted by Sheogorath, will have no choice but to either join the Knights or get out. And leaving won't help him find out who tried to kill him.

the Obsidian spark seems interesting, but I don't see how it has to do with Delta, as Syber's Acolyte abilities will not affect whether or Delta is put into action.
It might not affect Delta, but it will effect the Scorpio Creos battle.

So yea, I wanna see this out again, also the * on my last post was an, I will correct this description if I described him wrong, I have no clue what Armerio looks like, I kinda pictured either an evil Ares, or a very big, bulky guy.
Regarding Post #708, just to be sure, the maze is only within the Ballroom, correct?
If it isn't, then I'd request it only appear in the ballroom, 'cause it could mess with people's plans for combat.
If it is, then you may want to revise the "Everyone on the floor" part, because only Scorpio and Creos are in the Ballroom -- everyone else is spread across the castle.

I know, but to Armerio, both of you are Out-of-Core manifestations of itself. As far as he is willing to categorize, you're just the main Core Spirit. I'll switch it up though.

Yes, I got it. To be honest, I really didn't feel like posting anything. My job constitutes staring at a computer screen all day, and then after-work hours are spent either spending quality time with Metroid Prime Trilogy or watching TV with my family. With that kind of competition, putting in the effort to figure out how best to implement the story conditions we discussed just seems like a lot of work.
I'll be posting tomorrow. What we have here is a potentially explosive story post requiring a lot focus to keep everyone happy while making something high-quality that folks will want to read (if they read it at all). I can't do that in one night when my mind is otherwise occupied.

As Thin said, The Apocrean Hierarch -- but that would only be temporary, seeing as he's the "final boss" character... Unless something changes. But it probably won't.
Other characters... Mercenary characters and Apocrean Knight characters. You could sneak one or more of those in while Plan Delta is still going on -- just make them live and hang around with Pippin and Syber afterwards if the character is a Merc. or, if it's an Apocrean Knight, just have them surrender and stick around at some point.
Other characters would need a reason to be going to the castle... Sicarius was previously scouting out potential recruits for Strom, but is no longer doing so -- and teleporting said recruits would lead to a mess in the situation Armerio's in anyways.
Yeah.
The only other characters I can think of are Devilites (which were mentioned at the bottom of Post #577 to have the ability to arrange transportation between realms), and Apocrean-affiliated characters (that is to say, recruits and/or spies within the Apocrean Cult who climbed through the ranks and got to the Apocrean Realm). Or "Other" characters, like Min or Gwen -- who have other methods of dimensional travel.

@Colray- Thanks, I used to be able to write a lot better though, but I stopped doing English as a subject, what? 2 years ago? And yesss, you can have Margrel, no problem, and i'll look forward to that then.
General - This is what I believe happens. After the soul is solidified and disappears, it is dissolved into the Swarm into your body. When Swarm is taken from you, which is what Arnerio is doing, it's like evaporation.. Taking the solvent leaving the solute. So the Undead are pure, and have their souls back.
