I'm pretty irritable when it comes to this sort of thing. Unless I'm playing Spiral Knights or some other funfest then I check the forums every 15-30 minutes to see if an update happens(I'm exaggerating it, it's actually 3-10 minutes).

As far as I am aware currently I am down an eye and need to take care of it but if you had any in mind by all means do say so, just not civilian, I really don't like the idea of the Civilian's in the Spiral world, they seem so...boring and yet at the same time cannon fotter to be thrown out and wasted like last weeks dinner. Anyway if you have an idea by all means let me know.

Vog is suposed to be a mytical monster. Considering it's fiery nature, I just like to assume it's a quasi-deity of destruction.
Blazecat, unless you intend on upgrading your ash tali coat to vog cub, I'm pretty sure you've only sacrificed regular beasts.
Considering the technological profile of this village, they could very well still hunt for their food. Dark could roleplay as a hunter. That's the closest thing I can think of to a non-civilian.
Speaking of civilians, I realy hope someone in this forum likes role-playing as a villager and would like to apply (once Thinslayer opens the RP again), because otherwise Thin is going to have a ton of work making this world feel realy alive. And I mean not just "this planet wants our blood" alive, that's easier to do, but also "this planet has people in it" alive.
No, seriously, considering the level this story escalated to, we could very well use a huggy person. Or at least some extra hands to carry all the corpses.

Magmaul may have a point - it'll be easier to RP the villagers with other players handling them. The thing is, I want to avoid making the RP too big, lest some of the players be forgotten. I think we should consider doubling up on villagers before opening the game back up.
Darkwatck could probably play the role of the grizzled village hunter/protector, though...

I suggest you just respond to the situation Thin gave you. You kind of should try to catch up to that girl that just saw you. I mean, Urie's not the only one who should be trying to communicate with the villagers right now....

I had plans for challenges like fighting off wolf packs, guarding caravans, surviving harsh winters and summers, and dealing with debilitating diseases. Would have been fun.

It seems the slump is caused by me making someone important to the story who has difficulty posting on a regular basis.
I'm not sure what to do now. I can't decide whether to bump off Anon and have Dark take his place or give him a few more days to catch up or explain himself. RPs are time-sensitive, so I can't afford to delay much longer.
I really really really don't want to junk another RP without giving it a good run. I'm sick and tired of that.

Yes, things happen. They all happen to the best of us. Procrastination, Demotivation, Writer's Block, and even family related issues, or maybe work.
But, not posting why you're gone is probably the biggest concern of all.
So, basically, as much as it sucks storywise, I say we reopen apps.
Yes, it makes no sense.
However, I for one don't much like recycling, restarting, and reincarnating every single time. It's very tedious and demotivating.
How can we do this? Well, assuming Darkwatch is still up for it, he could take anonmouse's spot.
I for one, would not much like playing someone else's character. (See Godmodding/Powerplay)
Now, in the current position that Markus is in, I can easily imagine someone sneaking up on him while burying bodies, and shooting him square in the head. From there, I'm not so sure. Maybe they take his armor and try to pretend to be Markus for a while. That would be interesting. However, I find the probability of that happening or working very low.
In other words, the rest of the team would need a reason not to kill them. Thankfully, the situation is... Fishy enough, that one solid bluff might actually work in their favor. "Your backup isn't coming any time soon." Is it actually a bluff? Don't know, don't really care. The magic of an "If" scenario.
That being said, just outright killing Anonmouse's character isn't that good of a solution.
I'd hate it too, to come back two months and finding the character I'd spent hours working on dead.
So, as far as ultimatums go, I'd give Anon a one week period before we made any drastic decisions.

I am here man, just creeping around like normal. I went to the hospital from 6/22 - 6/26. Had some down time and currently working 9-10 hr shifts at work, but I can still post.
I'll control the squad leader until further notice.
For those who are wondering, I have limited character apps because, over the years, I've noticed that most roleplays boil down to about 2-6 characters, 4 on average. The others gradually fade away for reasons unknown to me. My theory is that they get lost in the crowd. My alternate theory is that time filters out the unmotivated and just happens to leave behind a consistent number of players. Both are plausible, but I've been experimenting on the former theory.
The main goal of this RP is not to experiment, though. It's to attempt to combine action with slice of life in an SK setting.
I am here to Chew Bubble Gum and Type overly long and in some cases unneeded Paragraphs...and I just ran out of gum.
