The biggest person is wearing some heavy-ish armor, and appears to be the leader. "Well well well, some people want to challenge us to a fight?" His eyes are glowing?
There's a completely average person with a staff next to him. "Umm... I think so."
And then some woman with a coat. "The gods of redundancy will shine in our favor. We can beat them."
Lastly there's some crappy human with a cloak and a scarf that always seems to be blowing in the wind. "Dodongos?"

Lets see...
- Tinder and Markelu are both good targets to take out first. Tinder because she can heal others and Markelu because he can (presumably) redistribute charges.
- Turnips will most likely kill somebody, unless she fudges up, in which case she hopefully might kill somebody else.
- Tudor, I dunno, he can cast magic.
Blake will Heat Blade Markelu, since Parry probably won't activate at the start of the turn (unless it does for some reason, then use that.)

"Welp, looks like we won." Blake says confidently.
"Yeah yeah," Markelu says, dusting himself off. "As fun as that was, there's not gonna be a rematch. Ever."
"That's right!" Turnips says. "In fact, you're not ever gonna see us again, because we only appear in this one quest!"
Alekir really doesn't care, and neither does anyone else. "Okay."
The real Rival team returns to Sohnelbuy, satisfied.
Gained 450 Experience for completing the sidequest, despite the fact that nobody in Flint's team was involved.
It's time to return to the main quest!
"Hey!" Flint says, walking up to Officer Whitney. "We've been doing too many sidequests! What's the main story about now?"
She scratches her chin a little, but she does remember. "It's about... fighting some evil monsters."
"Okay, so where do we go?"
Whitney points northeast. "First you have to go investigate some shady activity northeast of town. We've heard rumors of some kind of dark activity out there..."

After the battle, an pigeon holding a letter in it's beak lands on Sage's head. "Hey, get off!" She shoos it away, so now it lands on Kirk's shoulder.
"Hey, what's this?" He takes the letter from the pigeon's beak and starts reading it. "Dear Flint and Co, I am a librarian from Sohnelbuy. I would greatly appreciate it if you could give me from information from the Codex about some of the beasts around the world. Currently, I am looking for info about the Waterphase Snake, Vitami Cei, Rabid Rat, Shadeling, and a Succubus. If you fill some of these out, i'll give you some experience potions."
"A succubus?" Flint asks. "That sounds familiar."
Raleigh shrugs. "I've never heard of those. But if you know about them we won't have to find them."
Flint shakes his head. "I got a book about monsters for Knight Training but I didn't read all of it. And I don't know what a Shadeling is either."
Cadence takes a look at the Codex. "We've seen some of those before, but they don't have descriptions. Let's get writing I guess."

Vitamin Cei is a strange creature known as an Orange Dragon. The head of an Orange Dragon is an orange with fangs made from orange seeds and small slits in the orange for eyes, complete with blinking. Their body is skeletal-ish made with a orange-ish root-like substance, and its claws are in sets of four, all made from orange peel.
It's not known where Orange Dragons came from. One theory suggests that they were made by a man who sold cakes and wore hats, possibly in either the future or another dimension. This theory, however, is completely bonkers and we honestly aren't even sure why we put it in here.
...Am I supposed to do something?
