I play through steam, as it's how I found the game to start with.
5) When did you start playing SK?
Summer 2011 I believe, around when Snarbolax was first released.
6) What other guilds have you been a member of? Why did you leave them or think of leaving?
• Maverick: The guild went inactive (aside from myself) and I didn't like the environment and thus left.
• Aeternus Imortalitas: Currently in, but I'm thinking of leaving if this application is accepted.
The guild's community has become rather unstable and irritating to cope with; more of a hassle than a convenience, in my eyes.
7) How often do you play?
I go on SK virtually every day; The only time I can recall not coming on were academic exams, and being unable to access the internet for whatever reason.
8) Are you more of a PvE or PvP player? What do you usually do with your time on SK?
I spend the majority of my time on PvP (Lockdown), but I'm quite capable in PvE too. I play around with the AH for profit (like many of us do), and also make profit off the CE market (Not sure how many people do this, but it's essentially simplified stock marketing.)

As I'm a born Canadian, my main language is naturally English.

I've heard of Impervious throughout Lockdown, and GvG whenever my guild manages to form a party. Came to know about Impervious members as the people in the game who were going to do the best; hasn't really gone wrong, yet.
Being honest here; The only familiar faces I know from Impervious are people I've seen in Lockdown; although I recently met Mohandar while I was looking for somebody to ask the guild about - Quite the pleasant fellow. Give him a pat on the back, whoever reads this (even if it's you yourself!)
11) What do you look for in a guild and how do you think you can help and contribute?
I look for a guild with a friendly, encouraging community that will give you appreciate even the simplest of tasks you accomplish to help out. That being said, I'm not a hypocrite; I'll treat people nicely without obligation of being treated nicely back. When I can, I'll donate to the upkeep, hopefully join the guild in GvG (whereas I tend to get between 12 and 18k damage, with an average of perhaps 4 caps; both being in T3 Lockdown. I'm confident that there are people better than me out there, and I'll have to do even better to catch up to them).
12) In your opinion, what does Impervious mean to you (for example as a guild, the word, etc)?
As a guild identity, all Impervious members are proud warriors that aim to be the best; and in my eyes, they are. Where joining them on my own would not only improve myself, but hopefully, improve the guild as well.
The word impervious (I know the definition, trying to branch off into a deeper thought as to why the guild has its name) to me, means to have the strength to fight on. Joining Impervious would be joining the ranks of the elite, and making yourself proud that you've battled yourself worthy through countless others with the same interests as yourself. Flashy details aside, I think impervious would be a great word to describe myself, and many of the players in your guild - You won't stand down against trouble that comes upon you, and instead fight until you're practically invincible. You guys do it right; There's no room for doubt when simply the name Impervious is famous!

(Sorry for practically abusing the letter "I", it's almost over. ─ Apologies for stating the obvious, too.)
I'm a hard worker that started out with swords but has had a taste of all three weapons categories. After going through some trial and error, I found that I enjoy swords the most in T3 Lockdown (like most players) and found that my fun out of LD is bombing in PvE. I have 5* armour sets in all three as I was looking for the best experience, and I don't have much of a good reason really; Guns just aren't my thing. I'm a sociable guy, and may often be seen in the Guild Hall if I'm not busy with LD, doing FSC runs, or simply selling things in Haven. I'm resolute to my goals, and think through my decisions carefully before making the verdict.

I've heard from a couple of people that it's one of the best guilds around in SK ^^ i'm always attracted to thriving LD guilds, especially those which have a good reputation for being fun and mature. To be honest I don't know many members, except for a couple I've met in LD matches like Solimando

To me a good guild is one whose community is like that of a small family or close group of friends, where members are willing to help other members simply to help and do runs, events, etc. together for fun. The bigger the guild that is able to accomplish this sort of atmosphere, the better it is :D
I'm willing to contribute to the upkeep, of course. I hope that one day I'll be skilled enough in LD to usefully participate in its GvG matches against other skilled guilds. I'll also be willing to help other members without expecting anything in return.

Salut, one last time
Dear guildmembers of Impervious,
It was been a wonderful time in Impervious for me. I remember the first time I spoke to Urta and she said that I'll need to post on this thread. I got the chance to be in one of the best and elite guilds in SK. I will never forget this. You were the only guild where I actually had fun to play GvG. You guys are just the best. But all the good things have an ending. Real life got complicated and college gives me too much stress. So I considerd of quiting the game. So here I am the last day of me playing SK. I say goodbye to a lot of good things. The whole SK community. I give a BIG thanks to all the GM's and the rest of the staff. Impervious wil always have a special place in my heart. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone in the guild, I found Impervious just by looking in the forums for a guild to join, nothing special really.
11) What do you look for in a guild and how do you think you can help and contribute?
I look for a guild with a solid grounding. I like to make sure that the guild clearly has its roots down and it’s stable. A necessity for me is the guild being active; I obviously don’t want to join a dead guild with in-active players. Another requirement for me is skilled members and a friendly environment as I don’t want to spend my time involved in drama more than playing the game. Lastly I would say a firm leadership system in which people are managed and the community is upheld without quarrel.
12) In your opinion, what does Impervious mean to you (for example as a guild, the word, etc)?
The word Guild to me means a group of people that have the same interest and are willing to take on the games tasks with each other. They also get along and have a great time, it’s also to make friends and adapt. The word Impervious doesn't really need any explanation if you're familiar with the English language.
13) Tell us more about yourself (optional)
I’m 18 years old and I’m from the UK. I’ve played many MMO’s in the past, from World of Warcraft to Runescape Classic when I was younger. My experience with MMO’s is vast and I’ve managed guilds across many MMO’s that have come on to be great guilds and have beaten some of the hardest challenges in the game. I’m not without skill either, I can handle my fair share of play and I can carry many situations where concentration is of upmost importance.

I started playing SK waaay back in 2011 (around the time they introduced the "Terrible Twin Turrets", if I remember it correctly).
Then took a long break and then started playing again on the Valentine's day this year (such an ugly, sugar-filled date, eh?).
6) What other guilds have you been a member of? Why did you leave them or think of leaving?
Back then in 2011, I was a part of an awesome guild called Motion. Had tons of great moments with those guys, but then I quit playing.
I've also been in Heaven Defenders, which I left because they aren't very active.
Currently, I'm in Tier Zero, which would be an awesome guild, but sadly, only very few people are online at the time when I'm online. Our timezones really don't go together very well, and that's the reason why I think of leaving TZ.
7) How often do you play?
In terms of that, I'm somewhere between "active" and "super-active".
8) Are you more of a PvE or PvP player? What do you usually do with your time on SK?
Pure PvE, though sometimes I play a few games of Blast Network. I suck at it, but it's fun :D
I usually do a Vana run or two and either Prestige or Danger mission. When I run out of Mist and don't feel like doing anything with my CE, then I like to hang around the AH, checking other knights' costumes and listening to their chit-chat.

I live in Czech Republic, so it's Czech. Not many people from our country here in SK, though I've met a few :)

I saw this thread and also your blog when I was looking for a guild to join. Was deciding between Tier Zero and you, guys, because I really liked what the Guild Info says. And the name. As silly as it might sound, a nice guild name matters a lot to me :D
Well, in the end, I joined TZ and found out I'm not exactly satisfied, so now I'd like to try my luck with the other guild I find interesting (i.e. Impervious) :)
11) What do you look for in a guild and how do you think you can help and contribute?
I'm looking for a bunch of talkative, active and friendly people to chat and generally have tons of fun with. I always prefer "quality over quantinty" and friendliness over skill (bonus points if the people are friendly AND skilled, of course :P ).
I can contribute with the flood of purple color, my tiny legion of spooky ghosts and activity in the guild chat! All you ever wanted!

Impervious, besides being an interesting guild name, could mean resistant to trolls, beggars, mean knights and everything that makes the game not-so-enjoyable. Go away, bad things, "we" are Impervious!

- I'm one of the older players in SK (in terms of age).
- I hate it when someone sends a guild/party invite without saying a word. Seriously, people, don't do it!

- My most favourite monsters are Undeads, because I just love zombies and all the morbid stuff.

I heard/saw Impervious on the Lockdown Guild leaderboards, rapidly climbing up (Congratulations) and I have seen many of your players in Lockdown. I would like to join because I have a joy of PvP and GvG, I want to help destroying Jempire, I like the thought of joying a PvP guild and having people to talk to and enjoy it with. I’ve talked to Josh(Forgot IGN, so sorry.) and I’ve known Mohandar for a while now but I rarely talk to him.
11) What do you look for in a guild and how do you think you can help and contribute?
In a guild I look for chill people, just to hang out with, aggressive and constant PvPers, people who enjoy PvP, great communication, and just interesting people; I think just overall I just like being around people. I bring a passion for PvP, I’m always on and willing to help in anything. I answer and will help any call or any questions and I bring my bomber support. (I have a bomber set and a PvP set)

I believe I can’t truly answer how it is as a guild but I can say, what I know from my knowledge is that your guild seems like a great guild filled with tons of Lockdown players and you guys seem like GvG is your thing. Jedi Master – First guild I ever joined, it was a great guild because the members were very helpful and got to know a good community of players in the game, and I managed to get full 5 star with them. A few months after I left because it became too inactive (but I think they made a revival now)
Tier Zero – Second guild I had, another wonderful guild I was in. Just like Jedi Master, they were helpful and amicable players who I had fun with. But after another few months I left because it wasn’t as active as I liked it to be. I then had plans to start up a guild of my own.
League of Gunners – This is a guild I created, it’s basically a guild for guild for gunslingers. I thought that the guild was successful as it was fairly active almost all the time, held events, and even merged with another guild. I haven’t technically left because my primary character is still a GM but I am going to be more active on this character since I only use Comnrad for PvP. I went on hiatus with it because it is mainly a PvE guild which isn’t what I’m interested anymore, and because running a guild is a lot of work.
Dauntless – First lockdown guild I was in. While my main was in LoG, I used my alt to join DL. At the time I wasn’t good enough in LD to really be useful to the juggernaut LD guilds so I joined them to see how coordinated gvg matches worked, and it helped me to be a better player. Eventually left because I thought the skill levels of most of the players weren’t great and felt that I improved enough to join another guild.
Rigorous – Second LD guild, which I really liked. Helped me to become even better and I respected all the players since they were helpful and skilled. They played their LD matches really well and always to what I think is their best ability. I left because I was the only gunslinger active in the guild and wanted more gunners to be with in a guild to improve even more.
First Blood - I was in it for a short while when I got an invite, maybe about a week I guess. I didn’t like it because while the players themselves were pretty friendly, they didn’t fight LD matches hard enough and gave up while in a match. I don’t like it when teams forfeit a match simply because they aren’t doing well in a game. But I think they are improving now that the Gm/officers are more active and having better recruit guidelines.
7) How often do you play?
Right now maybe 1-2 hours everyday, maybe 5 hours in total on the weekends.
8) Are you more of a PvE or PvP player? What do you usually do with your time on SK?
I spend almost all my time PvP, but I’d definitely help a player in clockworks with a mission or do FSC/SL’s now and then.

I had experience as a GM so I can help out by:
- Come up or help out with events for the guild
-Informing officers/GMs of trouble (bad manners, spammers, etc) or interested newcomers to the guild
- Play PvP more often and become a better PvP player

The word itself describes something that is “unaffected”, “impenetrable”, and “unbreakable”. I see Impervious as a guild that has all three of these qualities: Impervious is unaffected and apathetic towards its enemies and haters, and shrugs them off with ease. It is impenetrable as because I see it as a guild that will only let in quality members. And I see it as unbreakable because of the strong bond that it has with its members.

The Rules:
Rule 1: Revive Rule
Each player on a team can only revive themselves three times per a game. Which means your rev’s will be 2, 4, 8 energy, which gives us a grand total of 14 energy per game per player or 84 energy per team.
Rule 2: Pulsars Rule
Only Three Members of each team is allowed to use the pulsars line. This means on each team only three players can use this line. If more than three players use this line you will be breaking the rules.
Rule 3: Spawn Camping Rule
You are not allowed to spawn camp a guilds base. This means no laying down bombs, or gun spamming the outside of your opponents’ base. Yes, you are allowed to have one or two players fighting on the outside of the base, but no entrapment of the other team.

5. I honestly started playing SK literally in the beginning but then i quite for a while. Then came back and have been playing a lot since.
6. I used to belong to dark hearts. The reason i left was because they never did guild pvp really and I love pvp. I was one of few who actually pvped in the guild and it was repetitive pvping by your self. Also, not many people were talkative. But mainly there was no pvp.
7. I play almost every day during the week. Some nights are just too tight with school and sports so i won't go on but for the most part i am usual on.
8. PVP :) I love LD. I believe i am pretty good and have fared very well against some hard people. I am almost always first or second on my team every time i play LD.
9. United states English and i can speak some German i have taken classes for it and i can speak it brokenly
10. Well i mean if you play LD of course you know the people from impervious, rigorous, and jempire are pretty good haha. I actually however never really got into the forums. I ran into Solom recently and asked how to apply and he told me the forums so here i am applying :).
11. Well honestly i hope to help by playing pvp. I am pretty good obvi probably not as good as some of your players but i would love to have a shot against them :). Also since i almost always just pvp i can help with runs almost anytime i am on. What i look for in a guild is a rich environment and a guild that can also talk about LD stuff. Also a guild that does guild pvp.
12. Well impervious means to me a place were i can pvp and actually contribute to something. A reason to actually care when i look at the guild score boards. The word means that if one is impervious nothing can stand in his or way.
13. I am a teenager who loves to talk. I am a very chatty person. I also am one to learn quickly. The main reason i want to apply to you guys is maybe i can learn things in LD and have a guild environment suited to me. Also i like the fact it says yo guys are laid back so i won't have to be on 24/7 like other games require (wow(world of war craft)). I hope you consider and accept me :)

Ohhhhh Imps, this is going to be a big one... In honor of SK's birthday next week, we, the GMs and officer corp, are pleased to announce a number of special guild events!
Impervious Screenshot Competition!
To start the party off, we have our first ever Impervious Screenshot Competition! Here's the deal: between now and Thursday, April 4th at 5:00pm server time, record screenies of you and your guildies romping through the game (CW or missions only--sorry, no havens or GHs). Add a great caption, and mail (mail only, plz, it helps keep me organized) the address to Narfle. The Imp who grabs the best screenshot and caption will win a fabulous prize--wait, what's that? The other Imps in the screenie will win prizes as well? Holy muffins!
First Prize: 1000ce for winner + additional 500ce for each Imp in screenshot, 1000ce to each of the additional Imps

Impervious Shadow Lairpolooza!

You broke our hearts, Impervious. You broke our hearts tonight, Impervious. You twisted up and tore up the shreds whatever was left of it, you really broke it. We all jumped into the fire together, BUT YOU LEFT ALL OF US OUT IN THE COLD! I guess we are really all alone in this world. I thought you were all just like us, but you all are not, you are all JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE! The vultures that circle around our head ranching from us to take what is ours, you are all trying to take away our CHANCE OF REDEMPTION! A CHANCE THAT WE DESERVED, A CHANCE THAT WE EARNED, YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE IT AWAY! That is what you all do, you all take. Drugs took our friends, cops took our friends, social workers came and took our friends. The only positive light we ever had in our life. WE COULD HAVE REJECTED THEM! Sometime around last January, eh... heck if I remember.

Ugh, theres like ten... well here you go: Sl Kerouac Clan, Art of Heroism, Phantom's End, Advent Children, Aegis Team, Aeternus Imortalitas. I left most of them because of problems within the guild. In most of the guilds, I was very faithful. Then they died and I had to go. The last one was my own guild, and I left it because leading a guild got too stressful for me.
7) How often do you play?
Almost everyday for at least an hour.
8) Are you more of a PvE or PvP player? What do you usually do with your time on SK?
I normally sit around Haven, trolling people or talking to friends. PvE is pretty boring to me; once I got my 5*, I started kinda focusing on LD.

I look for friends and fun. I like to have fun. Lots of fun. I think I could donate a bit of time and resources to the guild.

As a guild, I've seen a lot of you guys around Haven and stuff and you seem like a fun group. So, as a guild, I think: Fun. As for the word, I think of untiring, invincible- pertaining to the fact that Impervious is strong, built on a firm base, with people who don't get tired. ;D

I'm an aspiring author from Pennsylvania. Some of my work has won local competitions, and I've written several fanfictions about Spiral Knights. I can also sketch a bit, but I don't plan to make anything of my drawings. I can sing too... And being an author is a backup for my real dream; to be a rock star. Ha. Anyways, I suppose you didn't really need all that information. But I'm a fun person... I think... I try to be funny, and I'm a little bit... er... zany. But overall, I try to stick with guilds 'till the end of their days. What's the word... oh yes- Loyal.
