Costume Contest Time!
Helm: Magic Hood (2*)
Armor: Angelic Raiment (3*)
I picked this set for several reasons. One, even upon upgrade the actual armor and helm look relatively similar, so higher * pieces wouldn't ruin the effect, if someone wanted to upgrade to use the armor as more than a costume, and two I like to think it looks both feminine with the longer cloak type bottom, but also fairly masculine with the armored arms bit. The third reason is that I basically have never seen this type of costume used before, making it nicely unique, in my view.

Armor: Icebreaker Armor (2*) or Blizzbreaker Armor (3*)
I picked this set partly because I rarely see anyone in Icebreaker or Blizzbreaker armor, partly because the Frost/Ice/Bilzzbreaker line looks similar to the Cobalt line, but with a nicer color scheme, and partly because the scarf is just plain awesome....
I think that the Blizzbreaker Armor looks better than the Icebreaker, but I went with Icebreaker because it is cheaper to aquire. Either one will work.

I guess it's extremely close to generic Skelly Jelly but I find this more unique. Plus it matches more perfectly (military) and I suppose it works for both genders. Plus skelly mask looks cute and innocent :P

6. Why do you want to join Impervious?: My current guild has become inactive over the course of many months without purges. I wish to join a guild where players are active and are supportive of each other, in a fun and social environment. Impervious seems like a great guild for this purpose, and I more I more than like the sounds of it!

Impervious Guild Costume Contest - The Top 5!
So after a HEATED discussion with Sciasz picking the Top 5 guild costume submissions (whoa that rhymed), we picked those we felt conveyed an awesome look that represents what we are as a guild, which is Impervious. It was definitely not an easy choice as there were some very interesting combinations despite the strict 0-3* limitations, but the results for the Top 5 costumes are as follows (in no particular order):

If you look carefully, each have a great combination of different sets that seem to match well in both the way they look as well as their colour. And we would be happy to wear any of them proudly!
Thanks to all those that took made a submission as it is greatly appreciated and hopefully it was fun (everyone will get a prize for participating, what however, is still TBD), but grats to all those who made it to the Top 5! The Top 3 costumes will be left into the hands of the Members of Impervious :)
The Details:
- Each Member of Impervious will get to pick their top 3 favourite costumes as 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- There will be points allocated for each as follows: 1st = 5 points, 2nd = 3 points, 3rd = 1 point
- The costume with the most points will be deemed the winner of the contest and be used as the official Impervious guild costume!
To Vote (Important!):
- Please send an in-game mail to Apricoti (Swarles new alt) stating your Top 3 choices (do NOT mail Swarleysparkles because votes need to be separate from actual mail or it gets confusing very fast!)
- For example > #1 = *name* #2 = *name*, #3 = *name*
- Only accepting one vote/mail per member so look through each carefully and then decide
- Voting will take place all weekend and will end on Sunday, March 25 @11:59pm PST (SK time)

That mask of seerus. I'm like "WAT.", and for one us FTPs won't be able to get it AND second even if we got someone to craft it for us we still have to pay the unbind fees and w/e.
But meh it's still cool. :<'
EDIT: Cope pasted from the rules: It has to be affordable and accessible to everyone (so people don't need to break the bank to get it and therefore 0-2* and maybe 3* items are most desirable)
I'm not hating, but that feels like it's breaking the contest rules :T

I have to agree with Owao. As much as i like the Flawed Mask of Seerus it isn't a realistic option for this competition in my opinion. Not everyone in the guild has Operation Crimson Hammer and for those people the Mask will be way more expensive. It costs more then 800CE for them (200CE crafting, 600CE unbind) plus some minor crafting fee and materials. Which basically makes it fall into the 4* item price range. On top of that they need someone else to get to do three runs for them for the fragments. That might not be that much of a problem if people are willing to help out, but it will costs them some time too especially if a lot of people are gonna end up wanting the mask.

I understand why Mwacky chose this costume (it does look awesome) but I do wonder why it placed, with the massive cost to FTPs. Even if everyone in the guild did have OCH, the Flawed Mask of Seerus is not easily accessible. Its 3* with those 3 dang mask fragments as mats. Yfke and Owao pretty much said it all, but I just wanted my voice to be heard as well!

And this is why I love you guys as you understand completely the vision and intent of the guild costume contest and we appreciate and thank you for your concern <3 The good news is that me and Sciasz did anticipate this would happen, but because we did not specify OCH armor can't be included, we decided to honour it because its a pretty cool costume and felt it should belong in the Top 5. We are definitely aware, understand and respect that not everyone has the OCH expansion so to counter this, me and Sciasz is willing to help pay for a portion of the costume if that is indeed the winner as picked by the guild. With this, we ask that you leave the aspect or bias of cost apart and just vote for your top 3 favourites from the heart! :3
