Thanks to all those who have expressed interested in joining Impervious and recently submitted applications! Unfortunately we are at cap right now (and have been for quite a while) with pretty much 100% activity rate and therefore as much as we'd love to have many of you join us, it may take some time before a space actually frees up. With this, I apologize if it takes a while for us to get back to you but if you really feel our guild is what you're looking for, I do ask you to be patient :)
FOR GUILDIES: We will be having a guild event this Sunday, April 15th @ 5pm EST / 2pm PST / 10pm GMT so come if you can!

Space open in guild.
I've had to quit due to the recent blast processing patch rendering my game completely unplayable. There's no point me being in the guild if i can't play, and as such, most likely won't even be active.
If OOO fix their issue i would love to re apply. I do love this guild, it has awesome people, awesome events and an awesome atmosphere, just as i had initially hoped for.
Good bye everyone, I hope we can all meet again in future. All that's necessary is for OOO to take some action.

The point: Sometimes other guilds might need a sub and ask us to be one, at times when a GM doesn't come on, we are stuck guildless/in that guild for the time being until a GM comes on to reinvite, which might be hours sometimes.

I actually talked with Rizeal, Maamaai and Seniorme about this last night. As far as fleshing out Owao's ideas goes, basically what we were talking about is having officers from other regions, such as Europe or Asia/Australia, to help promote growth and knowledge about Impervious in those areas. It would also help recruits from those timezones better acclimatize to the new guild, and feel more at home. Swarley and Sciasz can't be on 24/7, that's impossible even for them.
This is not anything more than a suggestion, especially as the summer rolls around and some people leave for other games, it would lend a nice sense of continuity to the guild no matter what happens.
Might I suggest a total of 5 officers, split up between different regions. Two of my suggestions would be Produkt for Europe and Owao for Asia/Australia time zones. I didn't realize other people had talked/thought about this, so thought I'd just lend in my two cents.

The day our guild will have at least one officer will be the last day of sk for me (at least this statement is true as long as there is no action log in this game). There is no need to destroy or change something that works already for almost a year especially considering that "the problem" concerns less than 5% of guildies. +You can always add to friend list guildies who play at the same hours as you. Although, to have one eu gm in guild is good idea in my opinion and only one 'pro' deserve this.

After reading the concerns that was expressed in this thread and having the many spontaneous discussions related to the enhancing the experience and future of the guild, we have finally made the decision to take a huge step to help get us through with the near future in mind. With this, let me allow me to cordially welcome Produkt as the third GM of Impervious!
Considering the way we have always run the guild with myself and Sciasz with no officers which have somehow worked so well (clear with the stellar group that we have today!), this was a significant decision. You probably want to ask: why a GM and not an officer? Because we have too many awesome members who are more than worthy of running their own guilds, let alone be an officer. One of the unique qualities of Impervious is we don’t have officers which is something people really like in our laidback yet active guild where people can just play for fun and ranks aren’t relevant. We simply don’t have much for officers to do (as we don’t need help with recruitment) and from experience, most members are mature enough to resolve conflicts in a respectful manner on their own if anything does comes up. In addition, the process of picking officers and determining how many to have would just be too complicated and messy which we don’t really want to get ourselves involved with so instead, we went with the ultimate – another GM.
Impervious consists of a good mixture of NA/EU players (and some SEA) where a GM in the EU timezone would be SO helpful for when myself and Sciasz are not available (especially lately as I’m working a bit more). Produkt joined Impervious back in October 2011 and as you may or may not know, is always willing to lend a helping hand when he can, skilled and so fun, which is why so many people have recommended him countless times if we were to promote anyone. With this, for the most part, you won’t really notice any huge differences in the guild - other than having another more than dedicated, reliable and amazing GM to assist for gvg and re-invites or whatever else as needed (recruitment is still me). For anything that has to do with the guild, please don’t hesitate to speak to him because he has my complete trust to run the guild as you have with me and Sciasz. Congrats, Produkt! ^^
