Outrageous CE prices

Why the Heck did the CE Prices gone up by 3000 crowns in the past few months, if it goes up any higher I'd think people would start to stop playing this game, if this is a way to make us work harder, well I'm not buying it.
Before I thought buying CE is already hard enough but is it necessary to nearly double the price, I'd think this is not the best way to gain some virtual profit in the game. And it wouldn't even be fair for those who doesn't have a credit card in their hands.
If the majority says the the Price of CE should stay at least make an alternative way to gain some crowns rather than doing the old fashion way of gaining cash.
I'm not here to start a war but more to notify how much people are unhappy about this. Post as many negative comments all you want but it is not gonna get you anywhere nor gonna help anyone.
if you got the guts to tell me that if I'm making such a big comment about this and I should leave the game, I would be much happier and go on my PS3 and play CoD instead, but I don't think thats what the producers of this game want to happen with the hundreds of people who play this game to think the same way, do they? I'm only here to help speak out to those who aren't speaking for themselves.
If there is any alternative way to gain crowns, please do tell, it would make things much easier for me and people who reads this post other than that Help lower the prices of CE.

Strangely you have this the wrong way around, if you get more efficient at gaining crowns, that will means there will be more crowns (a fiat currency) chasing the same amount of CE. It may for a while make you more efficient than your piers giving you a competitive advantage, however in the end it will make things worse than not better. There are only 2 ways to reduce the price of CE, give players more reasons to buy CR with their CE, so to increase the Demand for CR. It is not enough to just give players reasons to by CE with dollars they need to then want to convert them to CR. The only strong reason to do this at the moment is to bid on AH (CR crafting cost relative to CE is very small), it looks like 3 rings are going to do this buy introducing more auctions for elite pay to play players. The other alternative is to reduce the supply of CR, by reducing the payout on levels by say half, while this would reduce the supply it would also mean that twice the amount of time is required to get the same number of CR, so also is not a solution leading back to solution 1, more reasons for players who have CE to buy CR with that CE. Personally I think unbinding using CR would be good, failing that allow unbinding of accessories and other currently untradable items costumes/krogmo recipies using CR.
Fiat currency = "money without intrinsic value"
Rather than CE which could be seen as a unit of game time, so is an not fiat currency.

Best buy starts giving out TVS.
Idiots complain about how they are too small.
And please for the love of god, go to your ps3, play CoD and never return to spiral knights so we don't have do deal with people complaining about something that is their own damn fault!
And I do think the producers of this game want moochers to pay up, that's why they aren't stopping the ce prices from going up.

Thanks for still posting in these threads, it makes me happy when these people like you still try to explain why its like this.
Too bad no one realizes that this CE market is the most minor problem of the game. (For example, refer to the many reasons it is like that and why and how it can be solved in all the threads that Will put up, along with what we post)
If you complainers wont stop, then we will deliberatly raise the price. Its called learning the market.
I hope it goes up to 8k+

As it is a player driven market, the only reasonable way to lower prices of CE currently is for people to buy CE with cash and sell it. Other than that, you will have to wait for all the players with elevator passes to say "You know what, I don't need the CE this urgently, I'll wait for prices to decrease." Unfortunately, this won't happen anytime soon....
According to Nick's post on what's in development, there will be more crown sinks in the future, which means this should help take crowns out of the economy and thus lower prices.
Other than that, a plead in the forums is ultimately useless since the majority (like over 90%) of players do not read the forums, let alone participate.
