Hey guys! Sorry that I let this post sink away, so please accept my apologies. And, as a little token of my appreciation, I'm gonna make another bonus round! Yup, it's called the "Wheel of Fortune"!
In this bonus round, instead of me giving options while you take your pick, each one of you can post your own response! Then, I will choose the best answer and continue on. So get creative, and create the path you truly want! But beware, if you call the wrong hand, you might thread upon your own graveyard! (P.S. try to make your answer reasonable. As long as it is logical, I'll take it into consideration)
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
You make up your mind to go to the Jigsaw Valley, where constructs all with other gremlins are known to guard the path. You head to the elevator with Kevier and switched the configuration to the desired destiny.
It doesn't take long to reach the Jigsaw Valley, and you can easily recognise its beautiful floating islands and the sun shining brightly above the swirly clouds. After all, it's all handmade and constructed by gremlins. Too bad you have to crash the party for now.
You notice the usual lumbers patrolling with the lead of a bunch of Thwackers (along with some menders of course). The gremlins appear to be lumbering for wood - lots and lots of wood. You even think that you can see some of them mining. These could mean that the Grand Arsenal must require a huge amount of resources, which means that it could be GIGANTIC.
You look at another direction, and you see another gremlin group chatting away. After a brief moment, they dispersed and resumed their routines. Talk about gremlin chatter...
"Every path is guarded well, it's nearly impossible to penetrate their defences without risking it again." Kevier says, glancing around anxiously. "We shouldn't have come here."
You assure him that everything would turn up well. At least no one had noticed your presence when you arrived here earlier.
But do you know well enough? How would you act first? [State only one action that sums up what you think you should do. Don't give consecutive actions]
Acting natural and strolling right on through worked fine last time. Let's try that again in the direction the chatting gremlins dispersed.
Act natural as Tevokkia suggests. But then discreetly set all the Gremlins' explosives to go off while heading for the exit.
Make sure all appears as it should...... You never know if those nasty gremlins set surprise.
well your a spy sooo.... disgiues your self as one of them and sabutoge there efferts at lubering and mineing.
Wait, you want a gremlin to disguise himself as a gremlin?
nock out a thwaker and take his uniform? duh
Since Atgatg's answer seems more in-depth, I'll choose his reply :)
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
You decide to check around more carefully and see if the path is really clear. Indeed, the path towards the elevator is blocked by a locked gate, which is guarded by some gremlins. They must be taking this precaution prior to the construction of the arsenal. The key to the gate is usually kept by gremlins patrolling the area, or maybe it's tucked away safely somewhere. Still, you have to search for it. Or perhaps, you may want to take the risk and go for the shortcut: go directly to the guards without the key and ask for permission to enter the elevator.
Other than that, there aren't any threats that you can detect. What is your decision for now?
A- Obtain the key from the gremlin workers.
B- Ask the guards directly to enter the elevator.
C- Scout the area to find the hidden key.
B I fthey decline, you're gonna have to kill them all anywayz
Isn't that what a gremlin in "good standing" would do rather then skulking around looking for something hidden or taking an indirect route?
Best to ask!
If they decline look for the hidden one!

You obviously don't know me but I've been reading this from the start, except from my Kong account, so yeah, that's why I couldn't post. So yeah.
There's 50-50 chance you'll find the key, or get killed by the gremlins in A&B or C.
i choose all of
em! send kelvar to scout while you ask... if kelvar doesn't come back then kill the guards and get then key from them!!
You are a gremlin anyway so there shan't be any trouble, hopefully.
Guards always think that people with children are trustworthy

*thunder crackles* *dramatic music plays* WARNING: Sticky situation ahead.
You, along with Kevier, march across the path all the way towards the locked gate. Both of the gremlin guards stop gazing randomly and start to stare at you. You tell them that you need to pass through the gate.
"Just use your key, scum. Every worker and miner here should carry one." One of the guards glares at you. "Unless you've lost it?"
Kevier gulps silently at the guard's reaction and stared back at you in horror. You nod to the guard and give an excuse that you have dropped the key somewhere when you were lumbering.
"Hah, nonsense! You were lumbering?" The guards burst out in laughter, which doesn't sound good at all. "Now, where's your wood then? Only workers delivering resources can proceed to the Arsenal. You simply cannot go in empty-handed. Now just get out of-"
"Is that a Knocker?" the other guard interrupts his companion. "Knockers are never assigned to stay put in this place... What are you doing here?"
Kevier starts to shiver in panic. "Um, uhh... I'm just... hanging around?"
"You are not supposed to be here!" The guard snatches Kevier off from you before you can protest. He fumbles up his clothing, checking his pockets. "Not even a pass!" The other guard turns to face you. "Now let me check you up too!"
He grips at your arm rock hard and sweeps his hand across your clothes, dipping deep into all your pockets. All he can dig up was some ragged cloth and lint. "Where is your authorised pass? Now, now..." He stares suspiciously at you, then at Kevier, then back at you.
As swift as lightning, he pulled off a flap on your clothes, revealing the brand new outcast symbol.
Both the guards gasp in bewilderment. "Traitor!"
You try to reach for your axe, but the guards immediately pinned both Kevier and you down to the ground and started to yell to alert others. "We have a traitor here! Get going!"
All the surrounding workers stopped whatever they're doing and turned to look at you, staring in fright. You realise that you've stepped into a trap blindly. At the moment, you can only hope for the best as you and Kevier are being tied up by the guards in ropes and brought across the locked gate to the elevator.
One of the guards sneer at you. "You'd better wish you'll survive by the mercy of Seerus the Warmaster, or else..." he let out an evil laughter so menacing you'll never forget it forever...
[Continued at next post]
I'm knowing that I'll be posting here sooner rather then later.
Keep it up! ;)
CONTINUE!
I already read all the post a few weeks ago. So, continue the story!
You've past through the gate all right, but not in the way you want it; being captured by gremlin guards and tied in ropes, ready to be handed down to the Warmaster of the Crimson Order.
Besides Tinkinzar, Seerus is rumored to be one of the maddest member of the Order. Trusting no one but the King, he would take desperate measures to take out any enemy he wants to get rid of, even if the enemy is of his own kin. More rumors state that he even took out a member of the Order with a powerful explosive device, infused with the purest Dark Matter ever found in the realms of the Undead. However, Tinkinzar denies witnessing this happening right under his nose.
After descending a seemingly endless depth, you, Kevier and the guards arrive at the entrance of the Grand Arsenal. It seems pretty normal from the outside, despite of the enormous grand interior structures. Perhaps to discourage attention from mere outsiders? The guards are ready to open the door when you hear a cough of disgust.
"I hate this job." One of the guards mutters at his companion.
"What?" The other guard replies.
"Doing out-of-the-ordinary stuff like this... How distasteful." He seems to be rolling his eyes at you.
"Pah! I've seen the worse. Like Seerus murdering his own kinsman..."
"Huh? You saw it happening? But-"
"Yeah, His Highness didn't admit it happening, but it did. With my own eyes it did. His Highness doesn't want a riot to happen among us, so that's why he hid this incident on purpose."
"But... Why didn't you tell me about this?"
"Now, how do you expect me to have a nice talk to you whenever you are extremely grumpy in every work shift?"
The guard starts to scream about hating to work with his partner again, and a heated argument issues between them. You are wondering if they will ever stop yelling when your backpack droops a little. You realise that the guards have not confiscated your bag away, and you're still carrying it behind you. But unfortunately for Kevier, one of the guards is handling his pair of wands.
You glance back at your backpack to see your axe protruding out of the flap. If you just wriggle it a little, you could make it drop off and use it to cut the ropes free while the guards are distracted. However, with both hands tied up, this may prove to be difficult. You will have to trust your skills.
A- Take the risk to get the axe off and attempt to escape with it.
B- Do nothing but wait for a better opportunity.
If you're just outside the entrance, no time like the present!
Also, welcome back, Snowdusk!
Even if you are close to an exit, there's a good chance the axe will just slam in the floor and grab their attention. Then you won't have it when you need it.
B
You are on a recon mission, and these guys seem to be worth ease dropping on.
You decide to avoid risking yourself from this dangerous attempt; there is too much at stake right now. You guess that you will have to wait much longer in order to find another escape opportunity.
"You shouldn't be here, you're wasting my precious time talking nonsense to you." Looks like they're still not stopping yet.
"Well anyway, I'm so sick of walking all the way with you and all these... wretched prisoners!" the other guard gestures rudely at his partner. "I'm leaving, you'll take them to Seerus by yourself!"
"Much obliged." The other guard mocks. He mutters quietly under his breath while his partner storms off to the elevator. As it ascends to the Jigsaw Valley, you even hear a frustrating scream echoing from above. The remaining guard steps towards the door and fumbles around the controls for a minute, and the door responds with a tiny beep. The guard nudges you and Kevier closer, "Move on, and don't think of any nasty ideas. The security here is tighter than you think."
The door rises slowly as he speaks, and after it is completely open, the guard pushes you and the Knocker through it into a dry hot corridor. The air around here is so uncomfortable it makes you wish to beg for the guard to bring a drink for you. Everyone else seems a little tensed too.
The whole corridor is enclosed within a tight space, and there are only the three of you inside. A few metres ahead you can see a couple of closed doors, one is on the side of the corridor, the other is right at the very end. Strangely, no guards are taking post beside those doors. You try to take a take a quick glance at you axe again, but the guard continues to push you further.
With the guard behind, you walk on and reach the door at the side. He deliberately swings it wide open for everyone behind that door to take a look at you and Kevier. You see more gremlin guards sitting back while toasting their Volcanic Bubble Tea (gremlin's favourite beverage), that is, until they turn to stare at you rather shockingly.
The guard behind you clears his throat. "Guard Edgar reporting for duty, we- I mean, I found two traitors in the Jigsaw Valley. I'll be handing them over to Seerus right now, if you would excuse me."
The gremlins in the crowded room blink their fuzzy eyes for a moment, then someone speaks up, "Uh alright... you may proceed. Move along..."
Edgar tugs you and Kevier back to the corridor, and quickly pokes his head into the room again. "By the way, save some of that tea for me. It's so muggy here I could die from thirst."
"No problem, just don't tell anyone." a guard winks nervously at him.
Edgar winks back and closes the door. As soon as you step away, you hear a wild muffled cheer roaring in the room. Some gremlins just take their break time too seriously...
[Continued at next post]
Seeing that this post had gone idle for the past months, I'll bring you some cakes.... no, forget it, the cake IS a lie. But guess what isn't a lie? Another bonus round!
"What's Your Plan?" will let you pick the choice of the storyline as usual, but even better, you get to choose again what happens after that. It's always cooler to plan ahead! So, what you do is to simply pick your choice (A, B or C, etc.), and then in your comments, state briefly what the main character should do next. As always, you may give your reasons, and do get creative, but please stay logical. Because only the best answer will be chosen!
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
Kevier makes a sound that sounds like a cough and a sniff, "I'm really thirsty... My throat's getting so dry."
"Be quiet, I'm not bringing you here to have a sip of chilled tea." Edgar pushes Kevier harder, "Now move along."
"But... I'm so tired..." Kevier whines again.
You tell Edgar to give him something to drink to let him feel better. "No, I'm not giving anything to prisoners."
You try to beg again as sincerely as you could. "Alright, fine... just a sip." the guard sighs as he brings out a canteen. He puts it near Kevier's mouth and let him take his drink. After a moment, Edgar caps it back and brings both of you closer to the door at the end of the corridor.
That door turns out to be an elevator entrance, but not the regular exposed kind. This elevator is made with rigid metal and encoded with specific buttons. After Edgar clicks on a white button, the door slides open, revealing an empty space within.
You step in to find another set of buttons, with all sorts of colours. "Now, now, where was that button again?" Edgar scans around with a finger sliding across every button. After a slight hesitation, he pressed on another white button, and the door closes in front of you. "This is gonna take a long time..." Edgar hides a yawn with one hand. With the other hand he loosens his grip on you, still clutching Kevier's tiny wands. You can feel the tips press against your arm sharply.
"Umm, would you mind if I take another gulp?" Kevier looks up at Edgar, looking weary.
"No."
"But I'm so very, very, very thirsty..." Kevier swallows pitifully,
"Ugh... this will be the last." the guard kneels down behind you and pulls off his canteen again. Kevier dives for it and takes a greedy gulp of refreshing water. "Hey, just a sip! I need that too!" Edgar exclaims angrily.
With no one else inside the elevator, you find another perfect opportunity to escape from the lone guard. What will you do?
A- Kick hard towards his face, and hope for a good aim.
B- Try to take off the axe again and give a lethal chop.
C- Just play along and go to wherever the guard is going.
D- Ask for a drink as well. Just to act silly in front of him.
I'm sorry but the next post will have to wait, since I'm still waiting for replies. I would need at least 2 replies to continue, otherwise this will be delayed again till the next day.
Alright I'll just beg for it right now... Pretty please? T^T
I've been trying to think of a good "what next", but it's a little hard to think of a "best" plan when my head thinks it's missing details. ^.^;
Take the drink, and when you are just about to take a sip splash it into his eyes to blind him, then while he is distracted grab the axe and aim for the neck.
@Tevokkia
Is that so? Then I apologise for not making this easy! ^_^"
Simply bear in mind that you are in an elevator with buttons, with a Knocker and a guard. This is supposed to be a bonus round, so you can lay back and take it easy :)
P.S. Maybe this is a bit too challenging after all... I'll fix this bonus round in the future, but in the meantime, I prefer to let it remain as what it is now. You can answer something like what Neonguard did.
B - Try to take a lethal chop at the guard. If successful, hurriedly exchange clothes with him and continue on with Kevier as your "prisoner" in order to be able to move about the facility on your original mission.
(It's not that it's hard, it's that I've been roleplaying so long that I'm a bit fussy about details)
After he's dead, take any cards, keys, etc. and make Kevier look like your prisoner. Then you can both roam where ever you wish for a short while.
C
Then, when he's not looking lunge into some buttons and hope they help.
When water in your mouth, spray and he is distracted. Fling your axe and kill him. Escape!
You think I would lead the gremlins to kill me!?! I AM a devilite you know. Also, we already went to destruction zone. To Jigsaw Valley!
