"team fortess is destory."
Oh you.
No more worries, Blandaxt! Nick has answered your feedback it seems - this quoted from the Announcement thread.
(12/19/12)
"Guild Records can now be saved to your desktop in CSV format.
- Press the 'Save Log to Desktop' button on the Guild Record UI
- Only Officers and up may use this feature"
~Sev
i am very hapy this happened. now i can work on the records ofline while i am not connected to the wifi. ty a lot devs.
Well, I was expecting it to be too complicated to have a "Save to File" button. xD
Seeing as none of us are programmers - and that they did it in the middle of a Winterfest patch, it couldn't have been that much trouble. Not that it wasn't any work at all, but it was clearly not a whole patch of its own to add it into the game.
Pretty cool that they did this. Devs amuse us again~
~Sev
I didn't see this in to me OP so I assume its safe mention.
-Name change
I'd like recommend the ability to change guild names. Before the update it was as simple as disbanding, paying 500CE and re-inviting. With heavy investments in now made in guild other halls we no longer have that luxury. This function would compensate that. The option would be accessible only by the guild master through the "Guild Options" drop list in the Social tab.
-Merging
I also suggest the function of merging guilds for those who have similar ideals yet smaller numbers and too much to lose in their halls by jumping ship. I've heard that Lord of the Rings Online offers an "Escrow" account to hold guild items for similar occurrences, a system that holds your furniture till you guild sets back up again I'm not sure how that ties in exactly but I thought it was worth mentioning. This would be used for the guild that would be uniting with the host guild and when the process was finished, their furniture would be at the ready. Again, this would be access like the name option. The guild master would then type the name of the guild they wish to invite, the letter would automatically reach the other guilds guild master and if the invite was accepted then the guild would in inherit the name of the host guild but retain their furniture in addition to the host guilds assets . INB4:"Once it is in the treasury it can never be removed, not even by a GM" Well, this would not be removal, but an addition. Just covering ground.
Clearly these would come at a fee, albeit I don't know what it would be.
@Severage
Since this was guild related I thought it would be best to bring it here as such subjects are right up your alley, Severage.
Hm...
I don't have any outstanding objections to either idea - except that the price for doing those things would have to be appropriate.
We all have seen how a rigid model that is supposed to supply fairness to all Guilds works......it really doesn't. So, a scaling model would be better. Problem being, that just takes forever longer to code.
Case and point, Name Changing and Merging, as convenient as may be, could immensely nullify the crownsink that is GH Upgrades. The lack thereof could annoy players to some extent, but it's not safe for the Economy for people to be able to move around anything they want to without paying any crowns.
But then again, you wouldn't want it to be too expensive so that people are like "Psh screw it, I'll just disband the guild and join the other instead of merge".
I'm thinking something like....half the money you've paid in your Guild (Upkeep and rooms not included - only furnishings) would be required to move your furniture to another Guild's Vault. Just a random number thrown out, really. Could be more or less.
As for Name Changing, that could be something like Upkeep*2, or it could be a flat fee for any guild. Problem being, small guilds are most likely the ones that would want to change their names, so a flat fee that's fair for large guilds may be overkill for small guilds - which is why I said initially flat rigid fees are typically a bad idea.
~Sev
@Purepwn
You definitely have my support on this suggestion. The introduction of guild hall furnishings and expansions has created more vested interests within guilds, making it more difficult for members to simply just disband and jump aboard from one guild to another in order to complete both a guild merge and a name change.
I'm still just worried about how many crowns it might prevent from being sunk. Other than that it's a great idea.
~Sev
I wanted to ask my guild if anyone had any spare materials and a bulletin board would be good for that. I can't access the guild storage since I'm a recruit.
I really want some kind of aid from my guild when I'm out fighting. Maybe my guild can influence that lucky draw when you go to the elevator?
If all four members are in the same guild, everyone gets a +1 vitapod in addition to the existing vitapod or some other kind of status change? Like a higher chance of getting more crowns.
Maybe if you beat the level without dying, you score a small potion (Or hey, a free revive) for the next guild member to take on the mission.
I don't think Guilds should give bonuses as far as playing in the Clockworks.
Guild Halls are mostly cosmetic for a reason - though they are a great social thing, some people prefer to not have Guilds. It'd be a bit unfair to have those people have less ability to play than people who are in Guilds.
We don't want this to become World of Warcraft, where if you're not in a Guild you're slow and hopeless lol.
~Sev
Sev, you've posted that comment at least 5 times!
*looks around*
...was I not supposed to notice that?
Only 5?
'Bumping' is against the forum rules so...I just edit my posts. Nothing deceitful about that...
...Nope.

I just had a *great* idea for a new Guild Hall furniture! Mannequins!
Here's the concept:
A furniture item where, if you go up to it and right click, it brings up a menu. In the menu you can save your current loadout to the mannequin, and then pick a pose for the mannequin to be in. So, example, you have a Vog Cub set on. You go up to the mannequin and press "Save loadout to mannequin" or whatever, and then it brings you into another menu where you can chose from a series of poses, perhaps the normal Knight stance, perhaps mid attack with a certain weapon, etc.
Does the community have anything to say about my idea?
Ohai thread, long time no see.
NECRO OF JUSTICE!
So...what's happened while I was gone?
~Sev
I came up with more stuff for my old mannequins idea. You know the wireframe knight body that is now shown when you see the 3D armor previews? The statue, when placed, would look like that, and you could place items on it from the Treasury in design mode. To avoid the wireframe showing in the normal mode, you could not publish your Hall until all mannequins were fully clothed. (shield and weapons optional.)
"You know the wireframe knight body that is now shown when you see the 3D armor previews? "
Well, no, but I believe you.
I vaguely remember your original mannequins idea.
So, my assumption is, after purchasing said Mannequin wire-frames, while they will be invisible in all but design mode, will remain wire-frames in design mode regardless of switching to normal mode. You know cause otherwise they'd just kinda...despawn when you left.
~Sev
In my head, a message would pop up when you tried to publish that said "you have incomplete mannequins in your Guild Hall. If you continue, they will be returned to the Guild Treasury."
And an afterthought: This would only happen if you put one piece of armor, because if they were completely empty there would just be a stand, which is fine.
Oh, and you could edit the "plaque"(aka message like room titles) on the statues.
"In my head, a message would pop up when you tried to publish that said "you have incomplete mannequins in your Guild Hall. If you continue, they will be returned to the Guild Treasury.""
Well that's no good, it has to pop up on the screen or else you'd be the only one to know about it.
Ah, just having a stand would be fine I suppose. Just no headless knights this halloween. Don't see any reason to not have a plaque, while we're at it.
~Sev
What's wrong with the message? It's a pop-up, not like a mail message or a chat message... But I guess it would also be a chat message.
I had a few guild hall ideas and didn't know this guild hall thread exisited. (Since I normally rather not be on a forum, at all. No offence, it's not my cup of tea) And made this post http://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/75544 someone told me to post it here but I think a link should be fine, I don't wanna cause a random wall of text if I already put the thread down somewhere else right? Anyway Sev, if you could look through that I would love what you have to say.
Also before someone saying "Some of these ideas may be too time consuming." I get OOO is a small company, I wouldn't be expecting them to intergrade them into the game but it would be nice if they could read over and consider them.
That went right over your head buddy. You said "In my mind, a message pops up", I replied jokingly, saying it wouldn't do anyone but you any good for a message to pop up in your mind.
@Canyew:
Didn't think of more color variants for furniture - that's just re-texturing, not a lot of time consumption there (Not like it can be done in 5 seconds either but it's not major).
Perhaps a sub-category? Along the lines of Modular Table -> Modular Table (Yellow), Modular Table (Green), and so on and so forth. The sub-categories remaining collapsed until expanded by clicking on the head category, of course.
I see nothing wrong with adding sofas either, the chairs we use look a little uncomfortable. However, being more luxurious and multi-seating than chairs, their price should be altered accordingly. Same with benches - though they are less ornate they are simply differently themed, and still seat multiple people. Since this is not real life, let's assume leather costs the same as wood.
Of your table top items, I already had Lamps, Computers, and table-top foliage. I have added documents and/or books in with them. What exactly do you mean by "Weapon Props"? Prop as in leaning a weapon on the side of the table, or prop as in a fake weapon created for atmosphere design?
I would like more detail on the "Workbenches". I'm assuming it'd be a gremlin-esque bench with wrenches, hammers, or other tools on it.
Weapon Racks and Armor set display cases have been largely discussed. In fact, that discussion is still on-going, if you look at the last few posts by Klipik on mannequins. I have been attempting to make weapon racks and armor set display cases more meaningful than just "Buy suit of armor or randomly assorted weapons for 30K CR", by requiring items to be taken out of the treasury to "dress it up".
Not only will it make these more dynamic instead of needing 50 different objects available for purchase, but it will make them much more special if they have to be donated or otherwise collected by the Guild.
As for room ideas, if I'm not mistaken, most guilds use potted plants or other cheap objects to close the space betwixt rooms, without making it look silly. It actually looks rather decorative, and maintains its primary function all the same. For Brinks, one could argue you could press "M", go to Arcade, then travel out the West exit to the Bazaar, then go south just a few steps to Brinks. I don't see why not add him, but I don't see a great need for it either - the Arcade and Bazaar typically have short load times.
For the training room tweaks, check out the modifications on this thread here, and tell me what you think.
Thanks,
~Sev
@Sev
Thanks for reading over my post. I apperciate that. The thing about colors is that sure we can have color sets and subtabs, but to get rid of that and just make the item itself, color changable when held would... (Atleast in my honest opinion.) Be MUCH more effecent and effective. Instead of having 8 to 10 different chest of drawers, or chairs, etc just pick up said item, press a preset button to change the color, and bam if flicks between different colors till you get to the one you want and set it down.
As for workbenches I do mean things like planning tables (Like you draw blueprints on, could be weapon designs) Or have tools all over it, a little tool box, etc. You got the idea
Weapon props is at it said, either have preset weapon props that are random when you buy them (Like random sword prop, random gun prop etc) or stuff you give ot the guld hall to place ontop of tables and such. and leaning it to the side of the table would be cool instead of it being just on the table.
For the walls between rooms I do the same thing when I decorate. I found the anicent bookcases make GREAT placement walls, but I think it would be nice to have an actual soild wall that you can buy for a small fee.
I read the training room tweeks, and being DH guild really likes to do LD I think having a PvP training room is a great idea. Anything else to the GTH added would be nice. Because to be honest... Even though its kinda nice, I don't feel it was worth 1 million CR for the room. I spent a good 2 weeks trying to get my coin. I was slightly disapointed
Ohh my bad, I didn't realize you meant you could change the color of a single item - that does sound more effective.
Workbenches/Props, got it. Will add to the OP tomorrow when I'm not on my iPhone.
Fair enough on the walls.
Glad you like the training room - I will concoct a hazard room to tomorrow.
~Sev
The OP has gone through a fairly significant update, including GTH Tweak #3 (Hazard Room), and the rest of the furnishings and clarifications Canyew suggested.
Since this has been discussed with basically nobody, I just winged it and wrote whatever I had in my mind. Opinions and feedback on the new addition are appreciated.
Sorry it's a little late, I caught a mild case of some sore throat, nasal congestion and all those nasty annoyance sicknesses that everyone gets once in a while.
~Sev
I don't like the hazard room too much, it's too much like the actual game. Who would ever play the arcade again, if you could spawn unlimited monsters of any type in a room, without having to pay energy to fight them or revive?
I thought it was kind of obvious, being in the "Guild Training Hall" but I guess I didn't specify that they don't drop any loot at all, no crowns, no mats, no heat.
~Sev
It's still going through the actual motions of gameplay, fighting the monsters. You could recreate every room in FSC this way, minus the ones with the wheels. Who cares if you get nothing from it, if you don't have to pay to do it?
Um...why would you waste your time doing this if you had Mist to do FSC? It's just simulation for live testing of weapons on something more substantial than dummies or shufflebots.
I don't know why anyone in their right mind would just fight enemies all day if they had the Mist to go into the Clockworks, since it's the same thing but you get crowns/mats/heat for it.
Who cares if you don't have to pay to do it...if you get nothing from it?
~Sev
It's playing the game for free. Why would you do FSC over this? FSC makes you pay to revive. It may give you some payout, but eventually when you reach a certain point you don't need that money for anything. If you just want to enjoy the gameplay of the game without having any of the obstructions like revive costs and elevator costs, you can just stay in this room forever and never give OOO any money. You don't even have to pay for GH upkeep, since you could just use some rich guild's instead of your own.
When you get to a certain point...you don't need money for anything? I think there are like 2 people in the game with that status currently.
And you already run FSC for free if you run on Mist, even if you do have to revive (Unlikely) you can at least do one complete run for free. Then do any other series of clockworks levels for free, with Mist.
I don't know anyone in SK who would say "I just love playing SK! I could just combo-click a punching bag forever for no reason, that's how much I love playing SK! It doesn't matter if coins come out of it, or I could play the Clockworks for free anyway, I just love playing SK so much I'll punch enemies for no reason all day! Whoopie!".
~Sev
So you're playing the game to complete the progression, rather than for the gameplay? Then you're doing it wrong. The only reason I will grind FSC (When I unlock it) is because I have to pay mist to play the game, and if the other levels don't give me enough money to make a profit then I feel like I'm wasting my mist.
Honestly, I don't know anyone who enjoys grinding levels. I don't know anyone who plays SK just to combo-slash enemies to death. You play, so you can gear up, so you can face new challenges, fight some bosses, get some sweet weapons, to enhance your experience.
I don't see how this is any more substantial than fighting Shufflebots, except it's actually training not punching bags.
The only things I've ever played in SK for the sole purpose of playing are (1): Shadow Lairs, because they're virtually profitless so why else would you play them, and (2): Lockdown, which has nothing to do with PvE.
I'm not making Shadow-Lair training rooms, as 'The Swarm' wouldn't be a type of enemy you can spawn.
So yeah, you might play SK for the gameplay, once. Once per level. Since there's really nothing challenging until you get to maybe Ghost in the Machine or Shadow Lairs, there's not a lot of fun in grinding gameplay.
Furthermore, if you tried to just have fun in the Hazard Room, it's not like I'm spawning you in FSC. You're in a square room where enemies spawn. Most the element of freshness is in the map design - there is none here. It'd get old about as fast as KoA.
Even still, your concerns have been noted.
~Sev
You never added the color changing idea to the list, I figured ti was a good idea for the guild hall changes, all up to you though
By Jove, you're right. I totally forgot about it, my bad. I incorporated it under "Notes" in the additional furnishings section.

OOO, just add this. it would make guilds a lot better.
however... i would think some of the guild crests would be a swarm eye or a core symbol.
"The Guild Crests, as stated before, will be based on the icons seen in the Clockworks (The stage emblems, I.E Knight, Pawn, Crown, etc.). However, not ALL icons will be available at first. Once purchased, your crests will be able to feature all of the following (Once all upgrades are purchased, *ALL* emblems seen in the clockworks will be available to use in your crest):
Extra Color Palette, Snipe Emblem, Boss Stage Emblem (This includes the Skull, but also includes all the levels going up to a boss. I.E Roarmulus Stage Emblems, RJP Stage Emblems, Gloaming Wildwoods, ETC.), Cross-swords Emblem, The Core's Emblem, and finally, Shadow Lair's Emblem.
Those are both in the OP. Thanks for the pi support though!

Guild alliances/combining
Ever had a guild, and your friend has one too? And you cant leave your guild to go to your friends because you will lose a lot of money? Why not combine guilds into a new one -.-
Anywayyyy... what i mean is there are a lot of small guilds around. If they could join together, they could become much bigger. At the moment all I see in guilds are massive guilds like Jempire, Impervious and Lionheart, and really small guilds (like mine :P). This shouldnt be happening because practically all knights go to the big guilds compared to the small ones. So what I want to see is a way of linking seperate guilds together. Obviously, if two major guilds combined, that would be a problem, so the combined guild size limit should be the same as a normal guild. Also, for guild alliances, GMs and Officers can trade materials and crowns to other guilds which they are allied to. However, there should be a confirmation from both GMs of the guilds. (Or officers). However, this might lead to traitor officers trading all the money from a guild to the other, so there should be a limit. Eg. 50k crowns and 200 materials, unless the GM allows it. Also, by linking the guilds, allow members from one guild to go to the other guilds guild hall, and also being able to see both guilds members on the social tab. However, limit guild linking to 3 or 4 guilds.
Sooo think about adding this in XD
Oh and im not sure if this has been mentioned, but similar to the bulletin idea, there should be signs. Its very hard to navigate around a guild hall without signs saying where everything is :P Yes, I know there is a minimap, but it only shows icons. What i mean by signs could be anything from an actual sign, to one of those yellow hint beacons.
guild merging has been explained well enough to know what are you talking about. use search bar or google.
signs: I've seen it suggested a few times, I'll give a +1.
Um, you have all those yellow highlights to tell you where everything is, if ever it wasn't easy to navigate.
For Guild Alliances - I personally have seen it suggested a bit and tossed it around, but it's not unanimously agreed upon enough...some people absolutely hate it, others are fine with it.
Alliances and Merging are two different things though.
~Sev
has any one thought of guild mines and minable energy(once a day ofcource for guild mines and 1/100 chance for non-guilded players) of cource i have ideas for guild lifts also like treasure valts and graveyards for example(yes i said the same thing on tha old thread)
Gonna have to give more info on what you mean by "Guild Mines".
Guild Elevators were in my first thread, but were removed due to fear of over-reliance in the guild system, when there are a number of people who don't like being in guilds who would feel disadvantaged.
~Sev
what a guild army?
how to get one? FBHR (find, buy, help, recure) in levels, there may be a proto knight out there, if some in your guild find them and do FBHR and then get the knight.
how much is the health, it base on the gear
how many can we have out? there slot that base on your rank in the guild. EX: recuit = 2 , member= 4, ETC.
CAN WE GIVE THEM GEAR WE WORN ? Yes you can put some gear to good use. when you put the knight back in the GA, guild army, he will keep the gear untill you take the gear away . he can only your gear to you.
Is there a pvp to go with the GA? , Yes it called war. you can combie guilds together to have a epic match. the match ends when the team fortess is destory.
there more, but just this for now
Fireheart
