Usually I'm against collaboration threads due to the fact that they draw attention away from each idea and lack of reading feedback means that OPs usually lose control of their threads. However, I've noticed a large number of brilliant, yet small suggestions pop up, recieve good feedback, then disappear due to being complete. This makes me sad, as I'm not sure if the developers got to read said threads so I'm making a "clothesline" thread to keep some of those great ideas in one place, where they won't be lost forever. (and therefore duplicated many many times)
I'll be putting simple, undisputable, one-liner ideas up here, ones that are relatively easy to understand and possibly easy to implement. There won't be balancing suggestions here, as those requires indepth discussion. If you have anything to add, be that to existing suggestions or your own, leave a comment. If you disagree with any of these ideas, I'd like to hear why. 99% of these suggestions are not mine: I take no credit for them. (I'm actually working on a page on the wiki going over all the suggestions that have been added into the game, and who suggested them)
Ok, here we go:
▓▓▓▓▓ SECTION #1: UTILITY ▓▓▓▓▓
Standardized Time Clock
When collaborating with guild functions or whatever, it's far easier to work off a centralized time. This way you don't need to know how to convert your own time into someone else's time or whatever. The clock would be attached to the minimap, and would run on the same time as the Arcade gate clock. (image taken from thread 66979)
Improve Forum Engine
You said you were working on it, and we're still waiting. The current engine is horrible and doesn't really allow much customization at all. Don't care how you do it, fix it please.
Knight Rename
- ✔ Allow us to change our knight's name
- Make the original name unavailable for 30 days.
- During this 30 day period, have the original username as a biline on the Friend List and above the Knight themselves
Arsenal Sorting
Have some sort of sorting method for the Arsenal, be that either through folders, or through "marking" weapons with different colours/symbols and then hiding everything but a certain colour/symbol, etc
Loadouts
Make the default for newly created loadouts as umarked PvP, that way more people will be able to enter Tier 1 and 2 lockdown without being baffled by the loadout system
Iron Buckler
Give it Bomb Damage Bonus: Medium. Yeah, I know I said I wouldn't add any balancing suggestions in here but this one is a small change, useful (for getting new players into bombing) and didn't receive any negative feedback.
MSI Trinkets
Following the trend of weapon trinkets, have MSI trinkets available in 4 star (Low) and 5 star (Medium)
Guild Hall
- Add Brinks to the Guildhall: Probably into the Alchemy Room, or as a one-off purchasable piece of furniture that can be placed wherever you want
- Allow officers to invite non-guild members to the guild hall, regardless of its public status.
- Allow officers to add players to their guild's "block list", which prevents added players from entering the guild hall
- In the Guild Hall's Alchemy Room, replace one of the crafting machines with a pet food machine
Sent Mail
Allow us to re-read (and also resend to other people) mail that we have sent
Multiple Recipients
Add an option to mail multiple recipients for a linear cost. Only crowns and energy can be attached.
Export Mail
Add an "export to txt" option to received mail
PvP
- Spectating: Allow players to "join" their friends/guildmates who are spectating a match, and be able to spectate them if they are playing via a context menu in the Social Panel.
- Scoreboard: Allow people to access the Auction House while they wait for their next match to start
Autotarget
Have a setting that changes the Autotarget key from hold-to-toggle to press-to-toggle
Energy Depot
Allow us to purchase less revive sparks but at a lower price efficiency
Friend Inspect
Allow us to choose if we only want to show off full inspect to our friends or guildmates instead of everyone
Party Room Naming
Allow us to give our parties a "name/subject title" so that when people see the party in party finder, or hover over the player's name in the friendslist, they can see the theme of the run.
Voice Chat
Add in voice chat for the standalone client
Battle Sprites Auto-Target
Provided the setting is turned on and the player isn't frozen
Friendslist Sorting
Allow the list to be sorted by last login date, not just alphabetically
Watch List
Add a watch button to the Auction House so we can track items without needing to bid on them first.
Ignore Settings
- Add a checkbox to the Spiral Uplink > Mail, that hides all guild invites
- Add a checkbox to the Spiral Uplink > Mail, that hides all guild invites
- Add a third button to Party Invite requests that allows you to ignore all party invites. The Activities tab would then turn red and a button deactivating this would appear where the Party Invite button is normally.
- Add a third button to Trade Requests that allows you to ignore all trade requests. The Activities tab would then turn red and a button deactivating this would appear where the Party Invite button is normally.
Feedable Materials
Allow pets to eat any and all materials

Sort them by colour, not by name, so they're not all over the place and you can find the precise colour you want to change to

Haze Bombs
Add in a second visual blast radius to display where the haze bomb deals damage to
New GUI Fixes
- Fix the new GUI cutting party names too short
- Bring back the energy status circles for other knights in your party
- Give dead players an icon so you know they're dead
- Resort the depth ordering on the minimap so you can see party member icons over the huge map icons
- Bring back the "Standing on Elevator" indicator, and possibly one for "Standing on Party Button" (So we know when someone's in a Danger Room)
- Improve health and shield UI for teammates
Damage Numbers
In Lockdown. (It's toggle-able of course)
Colorblind Mode
This would affect team colors in Lockdown, Weapons with status branches, and Vial Icons.
Latency Meter
Either make it a number, have a number pop up when we hover the mouse over the meter, or allow us to ping the server with /ping
Sprite Appetite
Add some sort of system to indicate when it can't be fed anymore instead of us needing to ram food into its mouth and then get frustrated when it doesn't swallow. Oh Flandre that sounded wrong.
Duration Abilities
Add a system that makes the duration of the abilities more obvious, such as the increased time on the Hexing Haze, and both the duration and the shield remaining of the Seraphynx's shield. This could possibly be layered over the shield bar
Material Notifications
Add the ability to turn material notifications in the chat feed off, it's spammy and not really necessary anymore because we already know that we're getting all the materials we pick up anyway
Knight Creation
When hovering over a colour at Knight creation, have the name of the colour as a tooltip
Curse Indicator
When holding a cursed weapon, the Knight should have a curse-coloured ring around their feet like the purple GM ring. This way we're not crutching on a weapon wheel to tell what weapons are cursed
Party Member Messages
Whenever players join and leave the party, have a message appear in chat delivering their status. Possibly also contextual messages and cause of death messages added in light humour.
Lockdown Queues
Split the Lockdown queue counters by tier so that players can tell if others are waiting on a match of the same tier as them.
Elevator Transitions
Add animations to give short warnings on when elevators are changing what their destination is. Perhaps a flickering of the screen for a few seconds, or animate the Gate Map with sliding levels.
Heart Attack
Cause the hearts dropped by heart attack to have a different sprite so its effect is evident (art by Qwote)
Design Mode Notifications
If a member of a guild makes any changes whatsoever in Design Mode, (such as picking up a piece of furniture) have a message in the Guild's record saying "[Member] made changes to the guild hall in design mode" so that Veterens who intentionally or unintentionally mess up the set out of things without publishing can be pinpointed
Battle Sprite Perk
The Battle Sprite Perk should be shown when hovered over in the Arsenal
Map Transparency
Make the Large Map more transparent while moving

Vendor in Town Square
An NPC which we can sell crap to, without needing to run to the Bazaar. Be that through the Auction House, changing Kozma/Supply Depot so we can sell stuff to it, whatever.
Minerals and Blocks
Create a system (be it a 1 damage "punch", or some other alternate, fast attack) so that bombers and wielders of slow swords and guns can break minerals and stone blocks without taking forever
Bomb Smoke
Alternatively, convert the smoke animation from a failed bomb charge into some sort of spark or "energy release" animation that does 1 damage in a small area around the player.
Grass
In the same light as the Minerals and Blocks suggestion, give charge attack bullets "graze damage", in which they deal 1 damage every quarter of a second of their trajectory so that they destroy all grass in their path.
Caustic Quills
Allow them to cause damage to environmental props such as breakable blocks, minerals, and switches
Add a Hotkey for the Gate Map
Self-explanatory
Clockworks Rotation
Be able to pay a certain amount of energy to speed up the rotation of a floor
Mail
- Fix Duplicate Mail: Have patch notes and maintenance mails sent as an account-wide mail, just like promotional Haven Treasury mail, so we only have to accept them once
- Accept All Mail Attachments: When buying a lot of materials off the Auction House, this would help a lot. It could possibly only apply to Auction House mail so that players don't get narky at each other over items they don't recall accepting through the mail.
- ✔ Add Contact: When composing a mail, allow the player to click on names from the Social Panel to auto-complete the name entry for the letter (As some players have difficult to type names)
Batch Crafting
Allow us to select before a craft how many of a particular item we wish to craft (the material and crown cost increases with each increment)
AFK Party Members
Cause sleeping (AFK for 5 minutes) party members to teleport to party buttons, but not elevators
Sprite Food
The variable material requirement should automatically default to whatever material that we have the most of. Additionally, the player should be able to increase the quantity of the food that they wish to craft.
Command Shortcuts
Autofill player names in written commands so emoting people with clumsy names is easier, for example, "/wave yggdrassil" could be replaced by "/wave ygg" provided no other players in the same instance had a name starting with "ygg". This would not work for private messaging or invites as that is far too broad.
Sparks of Life
Allow them to be purchasable while in a Mission Lobby or in a Subtown

Party "Voting"
Either allow party members to "vote in" a new party leader, or remove the party leader mechanic altogether and make it so players must vote in order to kick others
Tabbed Chat
Although the new scroll bar has helped alleviate the chat problem severely, we're still missing the fundamental MMO ability to switch between chat channels using tabs.
Hall of Heroes
Only allow a player to buy one recipe of each type at a time, and make recipes not show up if the player already knows the recipe, or if they already have the same bound recipe in their inventory.
Vendoring Recipes
Increase the sellback price for recipes by tenfold
Elevator Prize Wheel
If the elevator is for the end of a mission/clockworks run, have it not award vials, pills or hearts to players. Also, either remove the chance of getting hearts if you are fallen, or add it to the base health that you get at the beginning of the next level.
New GUI Fixes
Allow vials to be shifted to slots that don't contain anything
Closed Guild Hall
Have the server return if a guildhall is closed before we enter it, so we don't have to go through the loading screen of the Garrison
PvP
- Disconnecting: If no other changes are made to alleviate the problem of leavers, make it so that disconnected players are not immediately kicked from a PvP match
- Recons: In Lockdown, remove recon's footprints
- Redo the killcam so you aren't able to track your killer after you're dead
- If you are spectating a GvG match in which your guild is taking part in, restrict spectating to your guild members only.
Action Key
The ability to split up the functions of the action key to attack and activate. Both can be assigned to the same key if the player wishes, or they can be assigned to different keys so the player doesn't revive/activate/re-energize/pickup things while in the middle of combat
Unaccepted Attachments
Have unaccepted attachments automatically returned to the sender's inventory after a month has passed, with a mail from the system notifying the player that the item has been returned to them. This prevents sent attachments from disappearing into thin air 60 days after they were sent and not accepted by either player.

Sudaruska's Stun
Now that stun is fixed, put it back on the second swing, like how the Triglav freezes on the second swing.
Fix Wiki Accounts
Steam users are still unable to log into the wiki directly
Divine Mantle
Give it Damage Bonus VS Fiends: Medium like the Divine Veil, or make it Low per piece (so it doesn't overshadow Valkyrie)
Elevator Bugs
Fix the timer related bugs and inconveniences relating to joining a party that has just gotten onto the elevator, and being kicked while standing on the elevator
Loadout Bug
Loadout Bug: Fix the temperamental "Not in Locker Room" bug that prevents us from changing our loadouts, even when in the Locker Room.
Fix Crescent Helm Slots
The Cobalt Helm and Spiral Crescent Helm have frontal accessory slots, but the Frosty, Hallow and Surge Crescent Helms do not. Additionally, the Spiral Crescent Helm has a top accessory slot, but the Cobalt and Ignition Helms do not. Can we have all slots on all Crescent-shaped helms?
Fix Crusader Helm Slots
Similarly, the Storm Crusader Helm has a front accessory slot, but the Almirian Crusader Helm does not. Would be great if these two helms had matching slots since they are simply just reskins of eachother.
Fix Jelly Helm Slots
Finally, the Ice Queen Helm has a top accessory slot while the Royal Jelly Helm does not.

Weather and Day Cycles in Haven
The speed of the day cycles is debatable, if that is implemented, but please make weather effects toggle-able if they're added. Leave extensive discussion here

Design Mode Icon
Change the icon for players who are in design mode of their guildhalls. Just add a spanner to the bottom corner of the guildhall icon, like how there's an eye icon on players who are spectating Lockdown.

Forum Avatars
Expand the list of selectable forum avatars, especially the complete lack of gunslinger avatars
Costume Shields
Not costume weapons, because that would be silly. But costume shields would allow people to wear stuff as a complete set.
Remove Duplicate Placeholder Models
This affects all Gunslinger Hats (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and the Toxic Needle/Needle Shot
Weapon Renaming
Another crownsink via Punch or Vise
Emotes and Taunts
Animate more of the emotes, especially the dance emote, and add more emotes such as taunts. Additionally, allow certain enemies/bosses/NPCs to be targetable by emotes
Battle Sprites
Create emotes that cause Battle Sprites to perform the emote, or edit existing emotes so that Battle Sprites partake in the emote in addition to the knight
Zoom
Allow the zoom function to be used everywhere, not just Haven
Screen Shakes
✔ Have an option to remove all those flashy, shaky, effects. They're painful for some people, and downright annoying for many others. This includes low health warnings, all damage indicators except invinciframes and dropped pips, revive blasts and screen shakes from Bombs and the Tier 1 Equipment Buff Patch
Toothpick Trails
Either add the toothpick trails to low graphics quality, or remove the Final Flourish trail from low graphics quality
Costume Prestige Awards
Add awards for passing certain levels of prestige. Prismatic Crests and (✔) Recon Ranger Squad equips for example.
Weapon Wielding
Give the option to wield weapons either in the left hand, or with two hands (and the shield be invisible)
Proto Armor
Add the different proto armors into Greave's inventory. Either allow us to "paint" the proto armor a different color using an item from Vatel, or have every different piece with every different color available from Greave (although that might be a bit clumsy)
Sash Accessory Slot
Add frontal accessory slots to the Gunslinger and Magic lines
Weapon Naming
Add the ability to name a weapon with a tag bought with a sum of Crowns or Energy. Also implement a weapon name blacklist that you add entries to whenever someone reports an inappropriate weapon name.
Crescent Helm Visor
Add the ability to change the "mode" of items. Specifically, the Crescent Helm's Visor, to either open or closed. This would apply to Spiral Crescent, Cobalt Line, Ignition, Tri-Guard, and Guardian Helms.
Shoulder Accessory Slot
Some armors have addons like the Azure guardian's armguard and sash, and the Snarbolax's shoulder detail. Accessories could be designed for this position on other armors
