1. Nothing is preventing you! I'd like to do one but as I might have said, I'm running out of HDD space. Will be upgrading with another TB in a while, though.

2. It's a matter of preference, really. I prefer Antiguas more but some prever Blasters more. All the "pros" (who actually aren't because they don't ever make a single penny on SK) use Blasters. They also use ASI UVs which makes it pretty reasonable. The speed of Antiguas is what I use them for the most.

3. I ate a dog once. Close enough?

1. Why everyone (in tier 2 LD) have lvl 1 weapon? Even if the forge system haven't com yet. And even vanguard Didn't heat them to the max.

1. Yeah, weapons tend to do that. I can't remember if it's just for people who disable full inspect or if it applies to everybody. I believe it's actually the latter.

1.Oh no! The black kat is here now! What should I do with him? I only got Boltbrand, useless Virulent Catalyzer, super blaster , Antogua and cyrotech alchemer with ASI high uv. What should I pick? (I have 3 weapon slot)
2.I know you must have a cat hat. Do you know how to get them fast? Or the easiest way to get them.

Edit: Also what armor should I wear? I only have Dusker set and Angelic Helm. The other very useless... (For example Brute jelly set and Magic hood set). I don't think I have time to upgrade stuff with in a week.

Just a Few Questions...

1) What Pet would you say fits a Striker best? (And possibly Ultimate Skills, you can ignore this part if you want though).

2) You say Voltedge is a Striker Weapon because a Striker mostly plays PvP. Does a Striker use any Guns or Bombs? If you can use any Guns or Bombs, what Handguns/Bombs can they be? Only PvP Guns/Bombs or what?

3) If you were truly a Striker.....would you use Personal Colour Amber? (Echo's colour).

4) Personal question, do YOU use any weapons other than the weapons from Echo?

5) You say you shouldn't use Barbarous Thorn Shield if you are a Striker yet you say you can use Snarbolax Set. However the BTS is a part of the Snarbolax Set, so...what's up with that?

6) What UV's are best for a Striker? And what UV's are best for a Clone?

1. Boltbrand. If you've got any 4* gun, use it. If not, use the Antigua for utility (hitting switches and such).
2. Kill Black Kats a lot. Run in groups and run fast. Don't kill enemies if you don't have to.

1. Drakon. Meteoric Firebolt (Stun), Backfire Barrier (fast like sanic), Frenzied Firestorm (more bang).
2. Voltedge is a Striker-y weapon because it's a Brandish line weapon. Archetype strikers don't use guns or bombs. Clone strikers use what I listed in my posts directed to Shocking Beats.
3. Obviously.
4. I do, but it's a secret to everybody ;)
5. BTS is okay to get because it's a 5* shield which you need for getting to FSC. Snarby is okay-ish to get. It's not Skolver but it's close. Shields don't matter in LD anyway.
6. CTR and ASI. Your sprite can give you the last two DI. For a LD clone, it's all about ASI. If you wonder about defensive UVs, I guess any defensive UV will help. A total of 7 vs any status is great. Especially Shock.

Striker?

You don't have to fully use striker gear to count as a striker. T.T Just cause you're a striker doesn't mean you can't carry a Gran Faust or other heavy weapon to finish a job and also, it's not just skolver, the wolver line's in general are striker gear. If you have Snarby or Vog it still counts. Oh plus, I can use the charge effectively (I use both striker lines (striker as in the weapon, not class thingy)) without getting hit and dealing damage, it's just about timing. Also, on crowd control: The DVS is able to pull crowds apart,just run straight into the middle and enemies are forced back as you move forwards, it separates the crowd and then you run past, then turn back and repeat.

Yes you do. No you can't. Skolver isn't the only striker set, no, but it's the best. Why else would Echo use it? They're called cutters, not strikers. Good on you for being able to charge with them. The DVS has no crowd control. Don't pretend it does.

5. Full Skolver, Final Flourish, Acheron, Glacius, Winmillion, and double Pentas. I totally don't use BKC+Ironmight Plate Mail or anything like that.
6. Alchemers roflstomp anything. All haze bombs can be useful. Valiance and Antiguas aren't too shabby.
7. Vog set+DVS.

All Haze bombs, Nitro. That's about it. DBB can be used but I'd argue Nitro is overall better.

1. I think you'll need high graphics settings to be able to see them as the effect probably won't be rendered on lower settings since rendering them is a strain on the PC.

1 I need to choose the alchemer that i want... there's schock,fire,freeze and shadow. i dont have/ had any 5* shadow weapon but idc of gremlin and jellies. freeze seems good for ld and fsc but schock is also good... what's the best in your opinion?

2 do u really think fog is that bad? i can oneshot the two trojans of d27 vana and oneshoot every dem freeze lumber with a single charge!
with some fire defense and a ctr it's really good, it owns the jk and makes ice queen runs a walk in the (cold) park u_u

fun fact: i opened 3 moorcroft prize boxes... i found a dem bench, a dem lamp and another dem bench!

1. Don't forget that there's also Nova driver which is in my opinion the best as it is the most powerful elemental one. Anyway, if you must use such nub weapons, I'd say go for Storm Driver because Shock is good. Hail Driver isn't quite as good for inflicting its status as the other Alchemers are since Hail Driver can break what it inflicts. Magma Driver does plain less damage than Nova Driver. Lastly, there's Umbra Driver. Pick it if you need Shadow stuff.
2. It's too situational and somewhat suicidal. If you do have fire resistance, it can be good, though.

1. Swords aren't really useful against Vanaduke, except during the first phase and the mask phases. It's actually a beast during the mask phases. As for the Royal Jelly, it's problematic since it repels you with damage on contact. You need to keep your distance to him so you're better off with Acheron charges.
2. Shock > other statuses (except for curse, I guess) > Curse > Normal > other damage types.
3. Pressing the attack button and enjoying the ASI High it gives.

@Blade Maximum
The WHB is generally speaking worse than DVS but it has its place. That place is in the company of a good crowd control tool while you charge it. Electron Vortex+WHB charges is pretty sick, so long as it interrupts at all. Otherwise, it can get painful.

@Modico
It's weak, not worthless. I agree about the need of a buff but at the same time, doing anything big would probably make it more powerful than DVS. To be honest, they are some of the most well balanced swords in the game. Neither is really completely better than the other, which doesn't apply to a lot of other swords with split paths that share damage type.

I started this game recently

I started this game recently and I chose the Wolver set and bought any other recipes from Echo if I had the money when I got to my first Hall of Heroes. I don't regret that decision one bit. Now that I see this thread, I feel a bit bad that I may not be using those recipes as efficiently as you.

1. As an archetype Striker, which 5-star version of the Wolver set should I get first? I want something that will get help kill enemies faster and still keep alive while I'm doing it. (I'll get Snarbolax last since I'm still stuck at 8-2 Hall of Heroes) I already have 3 Ash Tail sets waiting to be crafted into something better.

2. In PvE, which do you find to be more helpful in most situation, BTS or the Swiftstrike? For some reason, I can't get past how little protection the Swiftstrike provides.

3. Out of all the Brandish line swords, which do you prefer the most in PvE? I use the Glacius and it's worked for me for quite a while.

4. Which is more useful, the BTB or the Final Flourish? I realize that the BTB's charge is more suited for crowd control, but I enjoy the Flourish's charge a lot more, despite being unlikely to hit multiple targets.

5. The most important UV's for Striker weapons are CTR and ASI, right? Which one do you prefer more?

6. Out of all of Echo's weapons, which is your favorite?

Those are all my questions. I just realized how noobish I am after rereading all that D:

I'll tell you what i think about the three 5* Striker armors:

1 Skolver: If you know how to dodge this armor will be really good, it gives a great dmg bonus for the cost of some poor defense (piercing). By the way is extremely good for Ice Queen and also in PvP for all the flourishes that will stab you in the back.

2 Vog: This is the armor for Vana farming because it gives fire resistance, if you lag a lot in FSC this should be the armor for you.

3 Snarbolax: This armor gives you Shadow defense that is good for FSC bcause slegs deals shadow dmg, it's kinda better than Skolver for Vana and Undeads or Fiends missions, IMO it's ok in PvP because there also a lot of Gran Faust that could oneshoot you.

For your first armor Skolver or Vog are my reccomandations but you can also do a SL in normal mode and craft Snarbolax. (i used something like 5-7 sparks of life in my first SL so... keep it in mind!)

This was just my opinion the expert is Krakob! :>

1. Vog is more defensive, Skolver is more offensive. I'd recommend Vog first if you're struggling with fire or if you want to farm FSC as well, there's a lot of fire there and some elemental. Freeze and piercing isn't too useful but the Damage Bonus is a lot better than the Attack Speed Increase, not to mention that Skolver is a lot better in LD.

2. Swiftstrike. Playing on Elite means your BTS will break in not much more than Swifty regardless (unless you're fighting Beast or Slime).

3. Glacius is the most fun. Combuster is the most roflstomp and Voltedge is the best anti-turret weapon.

4. Final Flourish has a cooler charge attack, if you ask me. It's also a bit easier to get good UVs on it, since it has one more craft than the BTB line. Do note that this was even more true when ME was around. You are right in saying that BTB is better for crowds. It's notable that BTB also works on big targets, such as Trojans as they aren't knocked back and will be hit by a lot of thorns and the bite.

5. Depends on the weapon. If you want to use the charge, it's CTR. If not, it's ASI. Brandishes, for example, are sick with CTR. I've got CTR med on all of mine and they're so overpowered I could eat a horse.

6. Dread Venom Striker.
