((Erk's probably figured it out. But, yeah, when your characters are beings that are evil by nature, even having 'evil' in the name, AND lob a boulder in Engie's direction, then, yeah.))

"Cowboy up!" Engie pointed his Rescue Ranger right at the Dremora Lord. "Y'all done made the last mistake of your lives." Engie fired a bolt at him, probably to get his attention.

The Super-Sentry immediately went to work, effortlessly shooting the arrows out of the sky with its machine guns while aiming the rockets at the Dremora archers in the back; it remained behind the hole in the wall, forming a chokepoint that couldn't easily be breached. This freed up Erk, Serra and Rick to unleash all their attacks. From behind the Sentry, Erk fired a Thoron bolt at the nearest Dremora, Serra unleashed Shine at another Dremora, and Rick blasted a full clip of rockets straight in Sheogorath's direction. "Keep firing! WE WILL TRIUMPH!"

Erk was still waiting for an answer from the weird guy that told them they should leave the universe.

The Dremora dodge Akuma's attack, and dart around him in a circle, dancing out with their blades. Asura's katanas meet hard armour, and do not puncture. Daedric armour is stronger than that.

Dodging her Shine, seven Dremora circle around Serra. One lashes out at her head from behind. The Dremora Lord approaches Erk, slashing his attacks out of the air with magical precision. He approaches him and makes a mocking salute, before launching slashing forehands and backhands at him.

The Dremora leap over the portal, undaunted.

The Dremora Lord parries the attacks, and swings a succession of heavy, swift attacks at Erk's midsection.

(( Doctor, can you let me do some damage here? And I will let you do damage, and we can have sort of a big nemesis thing. ))

(( Uh... I was planning on using Sheogorath for something later on, but I wanted to hint at it. And HEY! Erk and Serra are OP, too!))

((As long as you actually let me do some damage, sure!

The main reason I've had Erk and Serra dodge so much is because they're of the Sage and Bishop classes, which have very low physical defense, but a good speed and luck (especially in Serra's case). Their A support bonus when close also contributes to their avoidance (They don't start with this A support bond in Fire Emblem, but seeing as I've decided to set this 3 years after the events of the game, it makes sense for them to have the A support by now). Therefore, in game, they'd dodge a lot of attacks.

Oh, and the whole Sheogorath never getting hit thing was bugging the Nether out of me.))

Erk dodged backward, but got hit by one grazing attack.

Which hurt. It felt like a hammer in the chest, and knocked Erk backward. "Urgh..."

"Erk!" Serra immediately applied her Mend Staff, pulling Erk up next to the Dispenser. "You... you!"

"Hold on a sec!" Rick attempted to hold the Dremora Lord with his Portal Gun. "Throw some magic at his ugly face!"

"Got it!" Serra unleashed Shine, and Erk blasted the Dremora Lord with Thoron.

Meanwhile, the Engineer chuckled. "All right, Super Sentry. You got somethin' I ain't seen yet?"

"FOREBODING: YES. THIS." The Super Sentry opened a hatch on its top section, raising a large... light projector?

"An' what is... that?"

"AGGRESSIVE: MY LITTLE FRIEND." Super Sentry charged energy in the light projector... and proceeded to fire an enormous laser beam right down the center of the Dremora horde. "IT HAS A MINUTE LONG RECHARGE TIME, BUT CAUSES MASSIVE DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY ON A DIRECT HIT."

"Well... I'll be."

Malkalack went and got a forum ban. Can I take control of his characters? Never mind, I am just going to.

((Pi, Erk's been asking your character why they should be evacuating their universe.))

Akuma jumped back before any of the blades hit him. He raised a spire from the ground and broke it out. "Eat Rock, Aberrant Bastards!" Akuma swung, missing some of the Lords but crushing the lesser Dremora.

"They're Not Aberrants!" Shiki blocks a slash and knocks the Dremora back. His hammer starts crackling with lightning and Shiki starts rapidly spinning around. "These things are from a different universe from ours!"

"Whatever the hell they are, They're Going Down!" Akuma, grinning like a mad man, slammed the spire into the ground, causing a tremor.

Asura was having his own problem. He was surrounded by Dremora Lords, all attacking simultaneously, never giving him a chance to counter. One managed to slash a deep cut across his cheek before kicking him out of the circle, knocking his hood off in the process. Enraged, Asura's sword disappeared in a flash of light as he charged towards them, fists clenched. Punching one out of the way with blinding speed, Asura stopped in the middle of the remaining Lords. He released a shockwave of fire, sending the Dremora flying.

As the smoke cleared, Asura's hood is back on his head before anyone could see under it.

((Where did you make Dexterious go?))

Asura ducked before the Dremora grabbed him as Akuma came and drop kicked it in the face.

((AHEM. PI. LISTEN.

Erk directed a question at the guy that upgraded the Sentry at the bottom of post #650. Will you please address it?))

Erk rolled to the side to avoid the Dremora Lord's lunge, and Rick proceeded to strike downward at his weapon with the Frying Pan. Meanwhile, Serra struck with Shine, and even Engie got in on the action, firing a Rescue Ranger bolt at the Dremora Lord's head.

The Super Sentry kept firing at the Daedra Horde, unloading all of its rockets at the horde, while focusing on shooting down arrows and other projectiles with its guns. A stray arrow struck it, causing a little damage. "ANNOYED: OUCH. STOP THAT. THAT'S IRRITATING."

((Sorry. No.))

Erk was caught flat-footed as the Dremora Lord lunged at him; fortunately, Rick was quick with his Portal Gun, placing a portal behind the Dremora and another portal under Erk's feet, causing the attack to land only a grazing hit.

"Good work!" Serra pulled Erk to his feet. "Now what do we do about that portal?"

"Urgh... my head... why is it..."

"Oh, right." Serra used her Mend staff to heal the damage to Erk's head.

"All right. That armor appears to have resistance to both physical and magical damage. What else can we try..."

"Hmm..." Engie scratched his head... then cracked a malicious smile, and dropped a Teleporter Entrance and Exit on the ground, shouting, "Teleporter comin' right up!"

Meanwhile, in the middle of Sheogorath's throne room, something landed right in front of Sheogorath. Not quietly, though; the small, round metal object announced its presence with a loud cry of "SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE!" Upon landing in front of Sheogorath, he introduced himself: "Hey. Hey, I'm the best at space. I just came from space. Spaaace! Wanna go to space. Space. Sun. Planets. Nebula. Quasar. Spaaaace! I'm gonna spell it. S... P... ACE! Space! Who are you? In space? Who are you in space?"

((Having two people capable of direct healing (and a Dispenser) on the team and holding down a chokepoint with a powered-up Sentry tends to do that.))

"Well. That works, too." Engie seemed just a little bit disappointed that he wouldn't get to telefrag the Dremora, but at the same time, he was relieved to see that Dremora wasn't putting his Sentry at risk.

"PLAINTIVE: MASTER. CAN YOU FIX THIS SMALL IRRITANT ON ME?"

Engie looked toward his Sentry. "Well, gee. Looks like you got yourself a stray arrow stuck in ya. Hang on one sec..." Engie shot his Rescue Ranger at the Sentry, causing it to (somehow) pop the arrow right off and coax the damaged parts back into place. "How's that?"

"THANKFUL: VERY GOOD. THANK YOU."

Meanwhile, Erk looked toward the source of the arrow. "Hmm. Well, he can do something right."

"Let's hope he's over his crush..." Serra shook her head. "Then maybe we can work togethe- AACK!" An arrow flew right past the Super-Sentry and struck Serra in the shoulder.

"Serra!" Erk immediately applied his own Heal staff, and while it did something to the wound, it wasn't as potent as Serra's Mend. "Are you all right?"

"Yeah, I'll be... ooooh..."

"Hold on! Who shot that arrow?!"

Rick looked off into the crowd. "Can't tell! Too many archers! Some arrows must be getting past the Sentry." THUNK! An arrow buried itself a few feet from Rick. "Like that one."

Serra and Erk retreated toward the Dispenser, which was behind the wall the Sentry had broken a hole in. "I think it's going to take a little time to heal..."

"Not to worry, Serra. If anything hostile gets by the Sentry... it'll regret having been born."

Rick, meanwhile, fired rockets at the archers. "Nobody shoots arrows at my team and lives to tell about it! MAN, you are in a lot of danger!"

"Git along, y'all Huntsman-spammin' cowards! Super Sentry, aim your rockets at them archers- they're the biggest threat right about now!"

"AFFIRMATIVE. BUT YOU WILL NEED TO SPARE A LITTLE METAL TO RESTOCK..."

"Done and done." Engie whacked the rocket launchers up top with his wrench, which somehow used up his metal to restock the Super Sentry's ammunition. "Go an' git 'em, pardner!"

"OVEREAGER: YEEEEEEE-HAWWWWW!"

Next to Sheogorath's throne, the Space Sphere was lodged in the floor from the collision. It stared at Sheogorath, continuing on its tangent in an attempt to get Sheogorath's attention. "Space space wanna go to space. Hey. Hey dude. Dude. Dude. Space. Hey, let's go to space. SPAAAACE! Space space so much space gotta see it all. Trial, puttin' the system on trial. Guilty! Of being in space! Goin' to space jail!"

((Space Sphere is actually not affiliated with Erk, Serra, Rick, or the Engie. He doesn't even know they're there.))

Fancy Pants was getting closer and closer to Space Sphere, soon, a leg in orange pants was going to kick Space Sphere so hard that it could fulfill his dreams if managed to get hit

However, the giant sinkhole was just getting bigger and bigger and the edge was nearing on everyone

"Eh, it's complicated," the man said, "Sorta accidently missed the sealing shot and the portal won't close, but we have someone working on it right now... Never seen it this mad before... I'll get a status update." The man then gets on a cell phone and calls someone. "I need a status update on the..." he says whispering the last part so no one can hear him.

"Good, if you like it turning black with tentacles, otherwise, increadibly bad," says the person he is calling.

((From my previous post: Erk and Serra were next to a dispenser and, more importantly, behind a wall (because, you know, you suddenly made the place into a palace, to the point where Engie busted through a wall to make his entrance). How could the arrow have possibly hit Serra?

Also, I find it hard to believe Sheogorath ignored the Space Sphere's entire tangent. Please be sure that you're addressing my entire post before posting.))

"Oh, dang!" While Erk and Serra couldn't have seen the arrow that was somehow hurtling towards Serra (even though they were behind cover and next to a Dispenser?), Rick did see Dexterious get hit. As annoying as Sir Knight Dude had been ("This is a battlefield, son, not a dating site", Rick had thought), he could probably help them fight those Dremora. Rick used the Portal Gun to drop Dexterious over by the dispenser. "Quick, what's the situation?!"

"Ooh. Looks like he's poisoned." Erk and Serra pulled him up next to the dispenser. Serra said, "Well, guess we probably should get this outta the way... I'll get the poison, you and this metal thingy can take care of the wound."

"Understood." Erk applied his Heal staff to Dexterious, while Serra applied her Restore staff; the Dispenser's heal beam was connected to all three of them. "Dexterious, was it? I'd invest in a shield. They help you stay alive longer."

"WORRIED: INCOMING." The Super Sentry looked at the incoming fireballs.

"Dagit nabit nagit dagit!" Engie jumped backward. "Stand by for rescu- wait, what are you..."

"CONFUSED: WALKING BACKWARD. WHY?"

The Super Sentry was, indeed, walking backward, slowly, but enough to keep it from taking the brunt of the firestorm. Engie's Rescue Ranger kept it standing.

"TERRIFIED: DID THEY BETRAY US?"

"Nah." Engie shook his head. "Looks more like a misfire. Concentrate on- what in the world..." Engie was looking at some mysterious... THING closing in on them. "Uh..."

"WARNING! WARNING! GET OUT OF HERE!"

"Ah, hell!" Engie turned to face Erk, Serra, and Dexterious. "We gotta move! That thing looks dangerous!"

"What the... blast it! Perfect time to have someone injured..."

Serra looked at the thing. "How do you close it?!"

"Better let us know quick!" Rick aimed his Portal Gun away from a wall after firing four rockets at it to open a hole in said wall. "'Cause we're gettin' outta here!"

"SPACE! Go to space Space Space yes please space SPAAAACE! Space space." The Space Sphere looked up at Fancy Pants expectantly, Sheogorath all but forgotten.

Turning to Space Thingy, Shegorath says:

"Nast business down at Molag Bal's court. I have to go deliver some punch! His court is a nice place to visit, or to stay an eternity."

Shegorath skips through a portal, humming: "Bittersweet Symphony" to himself.

Dexterious quickly passes out, and fluid dribbles from his mouth. His body contorts into a seizure, and he thrashes around.

"Damn it. Damn, damn damn." Dexterious says, recovering suddenly. "Does somebody have a sedative? POWERFUL. You all need to knock me out, NOW.' Dexterious yells as a quill shoots out his back.

" ngh " He gasps, as more shoot out his spine. His armour sheds off, and fur grows rampant.

"AGH!" Dexterious begins yelling. "Stop me!" He yells, running off. His arms elongate, and he lopes off. "And please, kill me." He says, barely able to speak.

He roars, and gallops off.

Asura saw the rift appear, then Engie calling them to get out of the throne room. "Guys go! I'll hold em-"

"Ohoho No You Don't!" Akuma grabbed Asura by the back of his coat and followed Shiki through Rick's portal. Once on the other side, he dropped Asura. "You're not dying on us again."
"And again," Shiki added.

"Tch." Asura replaced his blades and readjusted his hood, but not before a glimpse of white hair was seen. "What now?"

"Hmmm. The palace is tilting."

Rick mouthed something in surprise that caused Serra to snap, "Rick!"

"SPAAAACE! Ooh, is this space? Space space spa-"

Space Core fell through a quickly placed portal and landed next to Rick. "Space? Oh hey! It's you, how's space? Space space SPAAAACE space space."

"What the..." Erk raised an eyebrow. "Okay then. Odd, but harmless. Now how do we stop-"

"Sonuvagun!" Engie raised his Rescue Ranger. "Incomin'... weird stuff!"

"WEIRDNESS IS NOT A FACTOR IN DEFENSIVE CAPABILITIES. ENGAGING IN ENEMY DESTRUCTION." Super Sentry turned about and began unloading all its rocket and gun turrets at the incoming horde.

"Away with you!" Erk unleashed a Bolganone blast aimed at the largest group of small Swarm beasts, while Serra aimed Shine at the biggest Swarm beast.

Rick aimed a portal at Fancy Pants to get him out of the palace as well, waiting for him to get through before he'd aim another portal at the cliff to keep Sheogorath from following them.

The werewolf keeps running, loping away. He throws back his head and howls.

Meanwhile, a man in a hood approaches Erk and Serra.

"Vigil of Stendar! I am tracking a werewolf. He has passed through here recently. Have you seen him?" The hooded figure says.

Captain was found by the GMs. So let's see Dexterious, Sheogorath, and that Dremora army off. *lights a giant match*
