developers have gone crazy

it cost more than 7k ce to just level a lvl 1 to lvl 10 which ias like 9 times the price of making a 5* gear. if this is a joke by sk then players are getting angrier each day.

No thank you, Three Rings, for making those same weapons almost pointless to use for those same players if they have any previously fully-heated 5* equipment they'd rather be using.

...Seriously OOO, I'm struggling to justifying playing further because I can't truly reap the rewards of my hard work. I pay in from time to time, but I'm not paying for the standard power-up of my current arsenal, let alone the dozens of things on my wishlist. An endgame player is naturally expected to amass a good number of powered-up 5* equipment pieces for diverse situations and entertainment, and I don't know anyone prepared to make that happen now who lacks a back stock of Radiants. You've basically crippled the endgame for new and returning players.

Even before this bug happen, the rate of crystal is decreasing in every patch and the rate of getting useless vial in box is higher.

Before, crowns and heat usually appear after open green boxes but now, shock vial.poison vial.new barrier stuff etc is really annoying.

Wrong. FC has not changed the other rates, as it has been tacked on as an additional drop.
The new items have been added to the "consumable" drop random list, and not tacked on as a larger slice of the pie. Or at least that is what my data is telling me.

OOO, make shinings on S6 and get this over with. don't change the system from vana if you wish. I don't care if you have to place all the boxes so they are one stratum above, many people will plain quit before reaching vanguard rank if you don't do it.
this, or 5* weapons' heat system get revamped.

That post makes no mention of fire crystals or a new heating method.

Sure, some of that new content might give us opportunities to earn fire, but this has been going on over a month! I've had four guildmates "take a break" because they're frustrated they can't heat any gear (including their shiny new Obsidian weapons, which are useless compared to their old, heated gear. Ever get a new toy at Christmas without any batteries?).

OOO, you're losing players. Either give us fire back or tell us when to expect it again. Manage our expectations.
Playing this close to the vest is only hurting you.

You should all stop complaining. The GMs give you guys access to energy, a supposed "member" currency. In other games member currency costs money. SK also gives you guys unlimited elevator rides. The only reason SK made it so that radiants are rarer is because radiants are supposed to be rarer. Being access to the trade of energy to buy radiants to the supply depot improves SK's economy as well as Three Ring's income. Stop it. I will play SK no matter what.

I'm tired....

I'm tired of us players giving 000 a bad rep. Though they have had the indecency to not respond to this bug/nerf, eventually, it SHOULD be fixed by the long, first-hand reports of pessimistic and disappointed gamers (like myself) or the possibility of new content possibly this November. No matter what, I believe that it will EVENTUALLY be fixed, otherwise 000 will be hanging itself via fund noose. Think about it. NO company intentionally tries to kamikaze itself. THINK ABOUT IT!

In addition, I'm pretty sure that some 000 employees read the forums (though cannot respond to every post for obvious reasons) but are unable to talk about the changes due to something where it will be incorporated into the next update, lack of time due to finalizing the Gunner update according to our own expectations of when it will be released, or possibly the lack of proper funding causing them to prioritize.

Then again I haven't been playing much recently sooooooooo.....

In summary; keep ranting and it will be fixed eventually, but I'm just not going to talk about Radiants anymore till it's fixed. (also when they DO fix it, I will buy about 20 bucks of CE)

It should be reverted by next patch. Nobody would buy the CE to heat their stuff. Besides, it would most likely net less money this way. I think they are focused on the gunner update, and probably see it as too much of a hassle to make an entire patch for one bug. (thogh I do know of some bugs that could justify a pure bug patch).

Yyes, it definitely should be reverted with the next major update. It defenitely should.....but since its OOO, Acheron 1k dmg per hit end of atory. GG

If people posting on this forum are to be believed, GMs have said several times that RFC drop rate reduction is not a bug. Therefore, it's intentional.
I guess they won't change it unless they see their players leaving en masse.

Now you explain me why would one T3 boss give drastically different rewards than other T3 boss (Vana)? It won't make any sense, because otherwise FSC would be abandoned quickly.
So I expect new boss to give about the same 3-6 RFC per run. No luck here.

I guess the only reason OOO did this was either to get more income, or to make things fair for people that is trying to heat their weapons so they can craft 5 stars and get rid of that pesky defender elite rank.

I do agree OOO must have had their reasons to change that, and that some aspects (like increased drop of shinings) can be beneficial to some players. Heh, it allowed me to quickly level up Blackhawk for Apocrea event.

But at the same time lack of Radiants discourages moving onto 5*. I can say for sure that 10 lvl 4* Alchemers do more damage than 1 lvl 5* ones. The same is probably true for many other items. Since you can't level your 5* items now without grinding a lot or spending tons of energy, 5* becomes a downgrade in term of basic effectiveness.

Finally, there is serious lack of information. If it all really was to push a mob of Defender Elites towards Champion rank, why didn't OOO just say so, also stating when drop rate change's going to be reverted? <derp mode>It looks like they are feeling guilty for what they are doing.</derp mode>

"I just saw the announcement pushing the Gunner Update back to January.

The popular belief amongst players is that 5* Fire Crystals will be found in the new areas, and that we "just need to wait a week or two until the Gunner Update."
If that's the case, we are looking at another two months with no way to heat gear (in addition to the six weeks we've already had).

Has Nick issued any statement on the Radiant Fire issue aside from "it's an intentional change and not a bug"?
If not, could OOO do something to help us limp through until then?
Idea: Perhaps put Supply Depot Radiant Fire on sale for 50CE and remove the 5*to4* Recipe, so the sale doesn't break the lower levels of the heating system? I would be willing to pay 40k worth of CE to heat my gear again, at least as a temporary measure."

I believe this problem still remains... It's been over three months and OOO has done absolutely nothing.... I'm beginning to believe that SEGA is really trying to pump out cash... Obviously, this tactic has never worked in the past, and will not work now. The only thing that will happen is that the veterans of the game will just leave. End of story.

Barring opening an entirely new and risky venture for income similar to larger companies, this drought is currently the only guaranteed method to ensure money comes their way. It's a pay wall.

Games and servers, even cardboard ones with hamsters, run on $$$ not Cr.

Otoh, if OOO were to offer jobs for plushie lines or some such, I'm certain plenty would come forward to aid that.

I totally agree that plushies are an excellent idea for revenue.
But personally, I'd rather them bring back mist energy and the $5.99 per month pass, than the heat crystals.
Like really, you can get a lot of 5* items in a month and $5.99 is a reasonable price for the adventure. But the fact that I am at a wall that says, of I don't pay out $300+, then my gear will forever remain 4*... That is what is completely unacceptable, from my perspective. I've already done the math. It takes 453 radiant crystals per item to reach level 10 once it is 5*. So you take 453 and multiply it by 20, for twenty different items, then divide it by 50, for fifty crystals per purchase, and then multiply that by another 700, for seven hundred CE per fifty crystals, then you get 126,840 CE that I need. That's absolutely absurd! It costs $100 for 45,000 CE, that means it would cost almost $300 just to get those items to 5*.... Few, if any, people have hat kind of money to spend and no MMO game makes people pay that much just to advance...

Also, about mist - El Sword did it quite good with Stamina (analog to Mist; you use it to enter dungeons, without it you can enter, but can't loot) - it's limited, but it replenishes fully everyday and it's enough to do like 4 3+1 level dungeons (like 2-4. I don't really like redoing levels just because of some plot twists) and spend around third of the bar and be bored with it

From my standpoint, any game in which the only way to advance is to pay exorbitant prices for items is a "broken" game. I am sure others will agree with that statement.

It's the fact that radiants drop at really late depths in which interests me since apparently shadow lairs are seemingly deeper than/ as deep as depth 28. What does that ACTUALLY mean? Does it mean the average player will have more stratums beyond depth 30? That we do not know since no one that has that info has informed us on this age old topic at all.

The forge is great

I love getting free revives, crafts, and UV tickets from just leveling my gear. Radiants' drop rates are just pitiful now. The problem isn't the forge, it's the scarcity of radiant fire crystals.

What Thunder-The-Bright is asking is what is wrong with the forge's functionality? It functions great. What parts of the actual system are bad? (drop rates are not a valid argument for functionality)

The forgery is a system. Every system has its components. From my perspective, the forging system consists of heat crystals, and heat that a player gains by playing through the "depths". When one component of the system doesn't work, that means that the whole system is flawed. In order for a system to be functional, it must include all of it's components, and frankly, the forging system does not. The component "Radiant fire crystal" does not exist (or rather, exists scarcely), which leads me to believe that the system does not work.

Without radiants you can't use Forge. And you at least waste heat leftovers by being unable to reforge your gear and time by trying to actually get radiants.
