When I launch the game through steam, I get to a screen that asks me for my account name and account password. My account name is "steam:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" (a bunch of numbers). When I enter that into the account name box followed by my steam password, the game crashes. I have tried verifying game files through steam and that didn't do anything, and have also tried resetting my password through spiral knights, to which the website said my old password is invalid (it's not, I'm able to log into steam just fine).

I have macbook pro with os x el capitan, and since this software update, I haven't been able to log in easily to SK. At first I had to downgrade java 'cause the game wasn't even opening (java/mac problems probably). But after this, the game would open on the login page, and then freeze and it would NOT close. No mouse keyboard nothing works I have to force shutdown the mac every single time. I've seen someone fix the problem of not being able to log in by switching a file on the SK folder of the steam client folder, libsteam_api.dylib.

just like topic what i said , I used steam money to buy 3500 Energy . When i accept that , the server lagged, and i got nothing , what should i do?

I have played this game (on windows and on mac) through the steam client for quite some time now. I have greatly enjoyed the game on all platforms thus far. In all my playing and work I have recently been able to rise all the way to vanguard and obtain 5* weapons and equipment. I just got a new computer and am running linux on it. I understand that SK does run fine in linux natively with no problems; my problem is I do not know how to log into my old account. It was created on steam and I understand there used to be workarounds, for example logging into facebook, which is now impossible.

So... i lost my characters after i transfered my accounts to steam account... i had 2 accounts and on one i had a character that i can't remember the name but i remember the accounts username and passwords... is there any way to get my character back? I think i had 2... it passed maybe a year since i played but i would like to get my characters back, is that possible?

For about a few weeks now, my keyboard has been out of whack whenever I am typing in game chat.

Some of the effects include:
- Cancelling the chat and opening a menu whenever I hit one of my hotkeys (this is random)
- Pressing shift somehow registers as pressing it multiple times, activating sticky keys
- Space bar does not always register
- On the subject of above, other keys don't always register either
(All of the above does not always happen, but it is frequent)

Is there any way I can possibly fix this?

Other (possibly relevant) information:

I recently just bought a new gaming laptop with 4K resolution and fantastic graphics quality. The game itself, window and all, has plenty of options for actually fitting onto my screen and runs beautifully. However, I've noticed a small... issue with the UI itself. It doesn't scale at all. It stays the same exact size, buttons, text and all, no matter what resolution the game itself is in. Whether it's at 1024x720 or well over 3840x2160, the UI stays the exact same.

Exactly what the titles says. Anyone know a fix?
I'm playing on steam, i've validated, reinstalled, updated java yet it still doesn't work!!!
Moving this to general discussion just to get more attention, it's really annoying this bug or whatever it is!

I couldn't log in, but when I did after a couple of tries, I clicked my character, and it didn't freeze, but it wouldn't load the actual ready room, or game at all..
Seems like a lot of people have also been encountering lag during Lockdown a lot too, usually it's pretty bad, I don't know if you guys can look into both of these issues..

I and my friend cant log in on main character. We can Log in on new characters but server is very glitchy
