Ok so its been a while since I've played SK. I played it on my laptop with windows 7 but after I updated to windows 10 the game won't launch. When I go to steam and hit "Play" the little update tab for SK pops up but when the update finishes the actual game doesn't pop up, yet steam still says I'm in game. If I want to exit steam or play a different game it says I need to exit out of spiral knights, but its basically like the tab isn't open. Please help me.

So, been a while since I've played, I don't think I have tried to get into the game since I upgraded to El Capitan on my Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.2. It gives me the prompt "To use the "java" command-line tool you need to install a JDK" and some link to the Java Developer Kit site. Is this a Steam related problem? The only stuff I could find in the forums was rather old.

There I was, out and about in my guild hall, and got the urge to play Lock Down. So I go down to Basil, in my Guild Hall, and ask for some amount of crowns in exchange for some Grave Soil.
Little do I know I clicked on my Black Kat Cowl before I ended the transaction.
So yes, I vended my BKC to Basil completely on an accident. This isn't a technical issue, it's more like an I-messed-up issue.
Is there any way I can get my Black Kat Cowl back? I don't want to hunt for a book that has a 0.5% chance of dropping from an enemy that appears 1% of the time.
Please help me!!

OSX Mavericks user here. When I redownload and launch Spiral Knights it says that the file is damaged and cannot be opened. It always does this and the web client doesn't work either. Any advice?

Note: When trying to launch via the web client it says "m.create_appdir_failed" if that helps.

I have been trying to contact the support lately, but every time i click on one of the support links (In-game support, account support, etc) it just brings me to a blank site. What did i do wrong?

I was going to play Spiral Knights, but when I clicked on the shortcut, it said the file didn't exist. I looked around on my computer, and found that Spiral Knights had uninstalled itself completely without my knowing. I do not use Steam. I just downloaded a Java update. When I tried to download it again, it said the file already existed, but I downloaded the game again anyway. It works.

Firstly, I've taken every step that I could find on here.

My problem: Spiral Knights will eventually freeze 10-20 minutes after launch. It'll completely freeze for like 5 seconds, but then it will give me audio. I will be able to move around, attack, chat, etc but with my video still frozen.

i5 4570 @3.2ghz
My graphics is through integrated graphics 4600
4GB RAM
Also my OS is Win10... I don't know if that's helpful.

I've had display driver issues in the past, but I fixed those issues long before getting into SK.

Every time I launch Spiral Knights in full screen, my game takes up 1/4 of the screen on the top left corner. I'm running it on 1366x768 on a 3200x1800 monitor and I'm on windows 10. I did not have this problem before, but I just noticed it around this week. This problem also occurs on all the other resolution options except for my monitor's native res, which makes all the in-game icons look small.

So I was checking games which cause Bluescreen/Browser malfunction/GSM (General Startup Malfunction)/continuous crashes.

When I launched Spiral Knights I got along with game window a system message window.

"Windows has encountered a serious error and will restart in about 1 minute. Save your work."

Is SK the cause of system errors? Or it was just one-time experiment? Of course I uninstalled it to stop irreversible computer damage.

Well, it's been a while since I've played Spiral Knights, and I somehow I fatally broke it.

When I enter the game, well, first of all, the Ready Room is just a completely black screen. I can see my HUD, and all of the GUI works, but the actual game is just black.

After going to the haven, it's even MORE messed up. I can't see players, I can't even see myself. All I can see is the map, and the birds. Though, my minimap at the top right hand corner seems to be working just fine. I can also interact with players, I just can't see them!
