I'm having majority lag spikes for about 5 minutes and it's not responding unless I reclient(sometime it doesn't work either). I've used command prompt to check ping on google.com and normally when Steam is not open, it is 21~29ms, and when it is open, it has large ping of 549~689ms average. Does Steam affect gameplay in Spiral Knights?

I'm on my own private computer. Steam remembers that I'm logged in, why doesn't the SK forums? I don't even notice I'm logged out until I try to reply, then I have to click 4 different pages to get logged back in. Even if I never closed the window! It happens like once a day.

When I first started it always showed on the front page of spiral knights to connect with steam.(I use steam to play this game) When I got on today, it didn't show the text(connect with steam), all day i have been trying to figure out what happened, I even downloaded the game twice on steam. I need help, make sure your answers work. :D

i have press option and set the screen resolution too the last one and the game zoom in and i cant seem to set the resolution back to normal !!! i tried to re- install it but there is this error 404 pls help me!! i cant log in to the game because the logging in is at the far end of the screen pls help .

Hello, I have just downloaded this game from Steam. I've played for an hour and I love it. The gameplay is fresh, and the graphics are charming. However, I'm having major problems with my graphics card, which resets itself pretty much every level. I've played this in fullscreen initially, and the VPU reset causes me to blackscreen. I can hard-refresh my screen but I'm pretty much dead when I get back in the game.

So I've got full connection bars almost constantly, and 90% of the time, the game runs perfect. No lag, no rubber banding, deaths come from my own mistakes. But every so often, definitely more often when I'm in arenas or crowded rooms with lots of mobs, I end up flying across the room, (usually ending on spikes) and it's not always even the direction I meant to be heading. I've tried doing searches for this, but most of what I've found are people talking about constant lag and stuttering. Just wondering if you, my dear internet, have any light to shine on this?

I'm using a Radeon HD 5570 on my computer currently. This card is capable of running most games I play just fine. I can run Left 4 dead 1 and 2, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield 3, etc, all on maximum settings and the framerate stay in a very playable range of 25-48. But this game I'm lucky to get 15 frames in some areas, even with low settings and compatibility mode turned on.

What gives? Why is this game so difficult to run when other higher-graphic games work just fine on my card? What can I do to fix it and make this game run smoothly?

This isn't my issue. A friend of mine has it and can't connect to the server so he can't make a character so he can't post on the forum.
