I contacted support about this but did not receive a very satisfactory reply, to be honest. I don't want to make one of those "mad with support reply, so go make forum topic and rant" threads, so maybe I should just log it here and hope for a better answer. Maybe even a knowledgeable player can provide a workaround:

Happens mostly if I'm in party with anyone, after I've kept the java window open for long times ( I'm talking 10 or more hours without getting disconnected) the GUD start freezing for a couple of seconds every 10-15 seconds or so, reloading the kongregate tab ( thus relaunching the game in a fresh new java window) solves the problem, it's still a problem nonetheless

I've been recently expierencing problems. When I'm on a run I might lag and freeze and get the black screen. But I hear the music. It might be when the depth is loading and I freeze and get the same problem. How can I fix it?

My laptop isn't the best one in the world. It's at least 4 years old+ and it uses Intel Drivers.

First of all, saddened for my very bad English (I use Reverso, it is faster for me, because I am French). And at the same time, that resumes well your very bad French translations in game.
My problem is rather boring, because I cannot connect any more on SK: I block "leave in town", but it's not a freeze, it's a problem of connection.
Indeed, for 2 months, I often had to connect 3-4 times in the game to manage to play (because I was very often disconnected by the server).

I got a problem while i was fighting in an arena
after the second stage, i saw mi crowns ( i was recovering health at the resting place) and i noticed that i suddenly lost about 6000 crowns, and i had left 500 or so crowns.
Then i told to the others and, thinking that iy was just a bug, i kept going on. but before start the final stage, i wasn' t wearing neither my weapon ( an avenger) not my shield (drake scale shield) , but i still got my nightblade...

I can't post a picture, but I have proof a autogun sold for 22,500 cr on my account. It may be a glitch but I never got the money, can you tell me how to post a picture while you're at it. Thanks.

Anytime I start SK the screen resolution automatically changes to 800x600, which greatly hinders my gameplay. I've currently updated everything that need be to play the game, but I do not know why the resolution changes everytime I launch it.

1) A black screen appears when launching SK
2) Shortly after the resolution turns into 800x600
3) The window for the game turns fullscreen - even when I set it to 1064x768x32x60
4) The funny thing here is that the current resolution cuts off part of its visuals

What can I do to stop this?

Can somebody please tell me what is wrong???

congratulations on killing the floor 23, seriously whats wrong with you, OOO? the adition of that party status is plain terrible (example: you get a noob who has 4* gear but has 0 probabilities of surviving in FSC until he gets better gear.) but with Party with Any= party speaking 3 languages so breaking up is the only option! what am I supposed to do ? walk trough FSC speaking spanish, english and french? SRSLY? do you ever THINK A LITTLE before making updates?

Spiral Knights used to run near flawlessly for me, running smoothly everywhere, save for about once in every thousand where my character would suddenly teleport back. However, after the patch, i've been "rubber-banding" quite a lot now, going really slow for a few seconds, then going extremely fast. Is it me, or is it the update?
