I tried reinstalling the game but something happened.... when it finished installing i tried opening the game and the game wont start up.. these are the files i have in the SK folder atm...

I am currently running SK on my laptop, and I've come to terms with my game sometimes crashing. This isn't the issue. The problem arises after the game crashes, because I am unable to get the program to close once it is frozen. I can open a new instance, and continue playing, but the previous frozen instance stays in the background.

I can't log in with my steam account. It says that the server isn't ready or the connection doesn't work although i have Internet.
Can somebody help me or does somebody have the same problem?

I don't know if there is already a topic for this (probably), but I really need some advice. I have terrible lag/spike. When there is a room with a lot of fire trap in FSC it's not even playable sometimes. Same thing in Shadow Lair.

I play SK with Steam on a Mac Book Pro:
- 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
- RAM: 2 Go 667 MHz
... I meet the minimum requirement easily

also, My Java is updated and according to pingtest.net have a ping of 34ms.

I run SK with graphics on low, the compatibility mode is ON and I hide the dmg.

Why am I always lagging like hell?? help plz

Issue where game took 20 mins to launch began in May, I ignored it.. However now, the game does not launch at all!

EDIT: Okay it still launches, it just still takes 20 mins... and the process isn't javaw.exe anymore :P

Hey, has this game been tested by you guys on a bunch of different environments like Windows 7 home edition for one? I have lost count on the number of people that have tried installing this game and it just doesnt work, my guess is 5 out of 8 people couldnt get the thing to work which is pretty poor.

Most people are non-technical and not willing to spend that long trying to fix a game, the friend that was willing is still having problems with the game (white screen now) and i am embarrassed to ask her to try again as its the third or fourth time trying.

Has the game been tested?

I have this problem: then i try to start a Spiral Knights by my steam, my client doesn't logging automatically, it's asks me to enter account info. of course my steam account info is not match, and [use a steam account] article were disappear. Please answer me how to fix this error or how to browse the ID and password that steam uses then logging in this wonderful game.

i cant purchase anything in game, since my SK acc is already link with my steam, but it keep saying that i was in a restricted country (Hong Kong), even i asked my brother (living in Canada now) to help me do the purchase, it is still saying that he was in the restricted country, anyone can help me to solve the problem please??

I've tried everything and still cannot get past this screen. I've even copied a downloaded SK onto the computer.

Hello, my issue is that my laptop cannot start the game. I try to run the game from the play display on the spiral knights website and i get a black screen and then an error message telling me to come to the technical issues part of the forum.

SO I try to carry out the instructions for 5. Are you getting a black screen/a malfunctioning full-screen/bad resolution?
