Any M1 mac users out there? If so, I'd like your input on how well Spiral Knights runs, or whether the game runs at all, on M1 MacBook Pro (2021).

My beloved iMac is now 10 years old and it will soon be retired. I am considering the M1 line of macs as a desktop replacement. M1 macs have CPU/GPU designed and manufactured 'in-house' by Apple, Inc. I am curious whether Spiral Knights will run at all on these newest machines.

So if there are any of you out there on M1 mac, please let me know how on this game compatibility as well as its performance.

so I downloaded the game and finished the first stage and then the game told me that the rest of the game will be downloaded, so I waited for almost 10 minutes and the download was at 2%, So I was wandering what is the size of the game?

Hello everyone! For some reason, I can't seem to launch the game. Everytime I try to launch it, it becomes a black screen and then it closes. I've tried both with Steam and with the normal Windows installation, and both have the same results. I've been trying for days but nothing has worked. That's why I hope someone whose an expert can help me with this too. I really would love to get back on the game. Cheers!

My issue is stuttering/freezing/frame dips, when I definitely should not be having them. I was using a combination of [this guide](https://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/62691) and [this guide](https://forums.spiralknights.com/en/node/12849?page=2#comment-203839), but it seems like a lot of the stuff seems 'out of date' (like how much ram to allocate).

I've already downloaded Java 7, since version 6 can't run G1 mode.

Is there server up or not? I just actually randomly downloaded this game again for the nostalgia but when I logged in, it's just stuck in the logging in phase.

Been trying to login into my account for the past 2 years already, still can't manage to login into my account. I'm using Steam and I know I'm not the only one who has this problem but I wonder if anyone who had the same problem I have now, has managed to somehow get back into their account. Please let me know what can I do to fix this.

I want to have a different account name (not knight name) but dont know how, is there a way to do it?, maybe using steam?

I logged into the game normally and tried to play the event prestige mission, after i pressed play on the mission screen my screen went to black and wont do a thing, i tried doing that a few times and it kept doing that but now that im trying to login to the game its stuck on loggin on. please help me T-T (i tried posting on the support thread but it doesn't work)

EDIT: Luqui helped me out, my problem was that I was using default-java instead of java-8-openjdk-amd64. Thanks man!

Hi! I've been trying (rather unsuccessfully) to install Spiral Knights on an Ubuntu System.

I've installed the latest edition of java, installed the launcher succesfully multiple times though terminal, and executed multiple forms, including
- the getdown-pro.jar
- The Spiral Knights.desktop file, which launches the extensionless spiral file (which as far as I can tell, just runs getdown-pro.jar)
- the extensionless spiral file

Hello, i have these stupid kicks every time in between games back to the login screen saying Invalid steam account or some network issue. Everything is fine on my side and i have no idea why its always kicking me back to the login screen. My internet is fine and fast. I checked that every time it kicked me. Is this happening to only me or even the others out there?

When i play FSC runs, i always teleport into flames and traps and also when your close to traps, they deal damage even when your not in them. I have no idea why there are so many bugs.
