Shields

Revert shields to how they were in the previous build. It was great being able to actually move when you had your shield up and enemies were pounding away at you rather thank just CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK CLINK that they normally are.

Also, make it possible to have total playtime visible on the HUD so we can watch the seconds and minutes and hours tick by as we play Spiral Knights.

Costume Suggestions

I searched for anything about shield costumes, and the only post I could find is one from way back in December. I really don't like the look of the Owlite Shield all that much, so being able to use a shield costume, or even an option to toggle the display of the shield off/on would be highly desirable.

Group Elevator Energy Costs

I think if the cost per elevator was changed to 12, and the party all contributed towards that 12 instead of each paying, it could reduce the CE strain on us while promoting group runs and things would still be balanced. If it's set at 12 that's 3 CE per person in a 4 person group. 4CE/per for a 3 person, 6CE for a duo, and 12CE for a solo.

Just a thought.

URGENT Petetion to increase guild capacity

Our guild reached 100 members in just two days and I know I don't just speak for my guild when I say that we all want the ability to have more members than 100 in our guild.

Heart capsules at terminals

I'd like to see heart capsule deposits at the mid way terminals nothing big but the ones you get from the begining towns that way ppl joining mid run have a chance to get a little boost to their hp without hoping from a random drop along the way, and/or fighting other players for it.

Gate construction

People have been saying the over saturation of certain minerals has made the gates repeat the same few types of monsters, making the clockworks repetitive and making some monsters and their drops obscenely hard to find.
I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but would it be possible to implement a method of mineral patch spawning that makes them spawn in an inverse proportion to how many of each color was used in the construction of the gate? That way, it is less likely for the same areas to pop up in every gate made.

Are there any plans for more complex puzzles?

Like pressing buttons in a specific sequence, or moving statues holding mirrors to a specific square on a grid to reflect a beam of light into a light sensor to open a gate...

I don't know if there's things already of this level of complexity in the game because I have yet to go very deep, but having done the same "find the button hidden in the blocks" thing so many times I'm starting to get bored of it.
