Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Please raise/remove the cap on multiple recipe purchases

As part of a recent release, the number of recipes that can be bought from Basil was limited to one copy per player per terminal.

While I can almost understand the desire for a vague limit, I'd like to make a few points in hopes of convincing interested parties that one copy per player is far too low a limit. The short version: please either abolish vendor purchase limits, or raise them to a more realistic cap of 3-4 copies per player. Giving vendors larger inventories would also help: I've seen some vendors that sell only 7-8 recipes at a time, while others sell 22.

Stuff that was bugging me that I forgot about.

I just logged back in after a while. Lots of new stuff! There's some old things that bug me that I'm going to write down before I forget again.

- I'd like to be able to see if I know a recipe before I buy it from a vendor. I've collected a lot of dupes this way.

- I'd like to be able to see what a recipe requires before I buy it, so I can buy recipes for gear that I already have the equipment for.

- It would be nice if powerful swords like the Khorovod broke crystals in two hits. It's tedious to go through a crystal field with weapons that do two attacks to a combo.

Brazil Players !

Man i'm from brazil and i have very dificulty to play because im dont speak very much english and have very much players from brazil , yours need a area for Brazil or GM's Brazil to understand the players from here :D and new forms to pay ; energy !

Ninja Set/other armor stuff (not just a way to counter the Pirate Armor thread)

And Swiftstrike buckler is the only non-trinket item that provides an attack speed bonus.

Ninjas are often known for their speed, so we should have an armor devoted to speed and dodging.
It seems wrong that Vog Cub Set is the only piece of equipment that provides a speed boost.

Ninja Set would be a devoted set for mobility and attack speed.
Ninja Armor should have Normal and Shadow defence. Normal because you just need that, and Shadow because Ninjas are known for lurking in the shadows. They should take less damage from the darkness.

Jelly King, and the hopeful future!

I like the puzzles preceding him, and him in general but, he. and his previous levels are still very easy.
I propose we spice it up a little bit by adding a random element to him each time he appears.

IE: Elemental based stages. Shock, Fire, Freeze, Poison, Normal.

Can you imagine the challenge of the areas if the respective slime families are present in the current stages match a certain element each time? I can, and would love to see it happen.

Guild pool for guild-exclusive items!

Our guilds are very bare if not as useful as the Haven Hall.

I'm pretty sure allowing guild officers decorate their guild has been suggested. How about a guild pool/treasury? Group members can dump crowns/materials (the kinds of materials may be limited to 3* items, at best). If there is enough crowns/materials amassed, officers can go to a special alchemy machine and craft a random prop/furniture of their choice!

Think of it: A bone throne (or a pile of bones), gloops of jelly, a tree found in Stone Grove (I WANT A TREEEEEEEEE), any of props you might see while adventuring in Cradle!

My Precious.

With the official release of SK coming to a start, this means a new beginning for all of us. While there have been previous other preview periods, my suggestion would be to have one equip, just one, to be able to keep for the opening. Wouldn't it be dreadful to get a great unique variant on a crafted item and soon figure out it will all go to waste? While this may give a slight upper-hand for beta players, most newcomers will get accustomed to SK quite quickly just as I have from playing only for a month.

No power

This is just dumb why would how make higher weapons weaker on lower level dungons. The whole point of getting new weapons is so that you feel and are more powerful why would i want to get a new weapon more star weapon if it won't do much more damage.

Duck: A Cash Shop is special shop where you can purchase items exclusively for peopole who puchases it with real money!
Its like wearing a costume while maintaining your other stats.
Cat: Omigosh thats so cool!

Small UI annoyances

The new heart pads are a nice change: by healing as we stand on them, they turn an unintended weird behavior (running in circles) into a more efficient way to heal.

In that spirit, I thought I'd collect some other things that could be improved with relatively small UI tweaks. Has anyone else noticed odd or confusing behavior that just needs a small change?

  • Trade windows prevent scrolling in chat- Even if the scroll buttons are visible, they can not be used while a trade window is open. That makes it hard for people in busy areas to discuss a trade.
