Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Graphical Correspondence for Statistics

This thread is about some changes that can be made and probably will eventually need to be made.
They're just my take on how they could be done, but I don't think anybody will be complaining about these ideas.
Except maybe the guys who have to program it.

Sets

There is only one set in the game that offers a bonus for wearing it together.
But there's obviously going to be others.

However, there's no visual way to tell that Vog Cub actually has an effect and is part of a set, so here's my idea for how it could look on the items.

Vanaduke Suggestions

ATM Vanaduke is massively difficult.
Probably not impossible but still is.

Having to resort to splitting 4 player parties into two 2player parties and then having to invite random people just to have them save you and die on the spot is not a good way to make a boss.
At the moment, average CE spent is astronomical.
Over in the 1000's of CE wasted on this boss.

And all for what?
3-5 Almire Tokens.

Viewing Other Players

Idea:
It would be great if you can click on a person and have an option to view his or her gear.

Why:
Myself and other players are always walking around and wondering hey what gear does that person have on etc. It would be cool if you would be able to just click on the person and view their gear.

Cap charge time reduction

I have this problem that my gear Skolver set+Sword+Trinkets
all of them increase my charge time
but there seems to be a cap which makes it limited using the trinkets
is useless then. The only good thing skolver has is charge time reduction ultra
and if u make it limited that means i wasted alot energy materials and crown in the making of it. Please dont limit it.. either make me charge faster or decrease the rest of the peopole its charge time.
Because why even let peopole decide to get a whole set that makes u faster with attacks or charge without the effect.

Treasure Vaults Still Suck

I used to avoid Treasure Vaults, because they were no fun and the payout was pathetic and never worth the energy cost. Now that the floors with Vaults (and Graveyards) are randomized, I feel the Treasure areas should have a much higher payout since there's no way to choose to enter it.

Danger Room Reward

I just recently did a Tier 2 Danger Room by myself, and it was actually very fun. I managed to keep myself alive by using an Antigua the whole time, barely pulling out my sword (because close combat = death) - it was pretty intense. However, I was somewhat disappointed by the reward at the end. I got less than half a quarter of the heat that I got from actually killing the monsters, and maybe 50 Crowns.

Auction House!!!!

Don't know if it's suggested yet, but things like items, recipes, specific materials etc. Shouldn't be sold in Forum's Bazaar. Only about ½ players use forums, so there would be more sellers/buyers if there would be AH in-game. Easier & Faster way to Sell & buy.

For those of you who don't know who The Phantom is, the title will most likely be lost on you.

But this thread is about the Phantom, a creature that seems to be causing quite a lot of trouble for people right now.

Since the thread in the General Discussion is being flooded with suggestions and ideas on how he can change, I figured it would be a lot better for the Devs if we made a thread specifically for them instead.
So people can better express their ideas without derailing a thread.
And for ease of reading, I suppose.

Exploring the design space of trinkets

The trinket slot is an optional equipment slot, only unlocked by spending energy to do so. This makes trinkets a viable vector for exploring unique or unusual effects.
Consider the following:

A set of three trinkets that affect probabilities of hearts, crowns, and heat that drop from defeated enemies. Each trinket increases the amount of one at the expense of the other two. Balance considerations will have to be given regarding how many hearts equals how many crowns equals how much heat.

Old Wolver Caps ----> Kat Hats

Yeah.
I've always though that the old Wolver caps looked like kitten ears.

And I also miss the old design but love the new design too.
So why not remake it into a hat that is made from the Kat family?

You could change the stats to reflect that fact as well.

Don't abandon the old wolver cap design.
