Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

New Prize Boxes

What if some special themed prize boxes were added? For example, in a gremlin themed level, you might find gremlin prize boxes which give gremlin themed materials (and rarely equips).

Beast - Tier 1: Beast Scale, Monster Bone, Critter Carapace. Rare: Big Beast Basher. Tier 2: Monster Bone, Critter Carapace, Drake Scale. Rare: (Suggestions needed) Tier 3: Warp Dust, Chroma Tear, Dragon Scale. Rare: Hunting Blade.

Mecha Knight equips

Mecha Knights have Bolted Blades in tier one and no shield.

In tier two, they gain Iron Bucklers. Normal Mecha Knights get Hot Edges, Firo Knights get Hot Edges, and Volt Knights get Static Edges, but then there's Cryo Knights and Poison Knights, which get swords which can't be used by knights: The "Cold Edge" and "Toxic Edge".

Dreadrode (Retrode boss)

Thought of a new boss: Dreadrode.

Appearance

A retrode about twice the size of a normal one, and with much more armor. Has a jet on the back, and spikes on its head. Has cannons on its arms as well as claws.

Attacks

Beam: Same as a normal retrode.
Bullet: Uses both arms to shoot bullets. Can target two players at once, one with each arm.
Charge: Launches forward occasionally to try to kill a knight with the spikes (not instant-killing), but is stunned for a short period of time after doing this.
Swipe: Swipes at a knight with its claws.

New Bomb: The opposite of Vortex Bombs!

Vortex bombs suck enemies in, then blow them up once they are trapped.

What if we had the opposite though? A new bomb?

Instead of pulling in, the suggested bomb consistently pushes OUT. And instead of blowing up at the end, it blows up at the beginning. For those who never used a Vortex bomb, the Vortex first absorbs for about 4-5 seconds then blows up. This bomb will blow up first, then push out for 4-5 seconds. The explosion in the beginning does damage but no knockback, and the pushing out does no damage afterwards.

New Attack Power

Right now, all weapons, bombs, guns and swords, have two attributes (attack powers):

damage type/strength
speed

I think a third could be added to this: Reach

Reach deals with the distance that someone can attack from.
A weapon with more reach doesn't need to be as close to attack as a low reach weapon would need to be.

Like speed, reach doesn't really change if upgraded via alchemy. For example, brandish and fireburst brandish would have the same reach, like they have the same speed.

New tickets for items

This is an idea based on something from the popular FPS game TF2.

Kill-count ticket: This would allow your weapon to track how many people in LD it kills

Kill-streak ticket: This would cause your character to acquire a special type of Aura when you reach a certain number of kills. This would also keep track of your best Kill-streak record.

Damage tracker ticket: This would allow your weapon to track how much damage in LD it does.

Defense tracker ticket: This would allow your weapon to track how many defends in LD it does. (has to be the last used weapon when you kill the enemy)

Boxes in the core are going to need a bit more than just crowns and heat

If there aren't any other plans for these delicious artifacts, I would suggest putting more radiant fire crystals in them. That alone would make me actually go out of my way to get them, and actually going to get them is in this case a definite problem- with no rarities they are worth less than the boxes at the end and are worth skipping outright when they could rather be extra credit or perhaps a main object in some later update.

Monster infighting

Those of you who play may have seen from time to time a monster deal damage to another one by accident or even kill them (back before a certain FSC update it was actually a viable strategy to take advantage of this).

What I would like to propose is a sort of monster infighting where monsters can actually target others that aren't in their group.

Group 1: Beast and Slime
Group 2: Gremlin and Construct
Group 3: Fiend and Undead

Unaligned group: Healer monsters, certain mission monster combos, minis, event monsters, bosses

Camera zooming?

Sounds like a good idea on paper but anyone else think you should be able to zoom just a bit closer to your knight so it's like your right in the action.

Pills and Remedys

A simple suggestion

I was thinking of a way we can share health pills and remedies. Why not make it that if a player is nearby or at the same spot as another player when using a remedy or pill, they will also receive the same effect. For remedies, they would receive the exact effect and be cured of any status. For pills, they would only receive 50% of the total amount of health that was healed by the player who used it.
