Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

A compromise of the forge: ~2.5x Needed With Optional Forge

So, it has been quite some time since OOO gave us the forge, but I still want it changed, and my new suggestion is a good compromise I believe.

Gobble snipes pets and stuff

I logged into Spiral knights today, and saw the gobble snipes wandering around as part of the fall thanksgiving event. Whoever did the models and animation for them, you're awesome. They are just too cute. And I'm assuming that they dissapear when the thanksgiving event is over. But I would be really sad, and I think there's plenty of other players who would be just fine with them. I have two suggestions to keep them around.

Featured Auctions

My idea is to have events that promote the use of the auction house. These events would have special costumes and items that can only be acquired from the auction house in the form of featured auctions, either buy only or bid only. I would work similar to current events, but with the auction house instead of the supply depot. Doing this would entice players to spend crowns instead of CE, and thus they would sell CE more often and lower the price of 100 CE.

UV Upgrade mechanic

How it works: when rolling a weapon, you have three choices for every active UV slot.
* roll - default. Slot will be fileld with random UV.
* keep - UV in the slot won't be replaced.
* upgrade - UV will be rolled, and if it's UV of the same type, your UV will be upgraded one level. Otherwise, nothing happens.

For example:
You have ASI med on your item, you roll for upgrade and if you get any ASI bonus again, no matter higher or lower than your current one, your ASI med becomes ASI high.

Why isn't there a heart pip limit?

One of the many, many things that make heart pendants overpowered is that they carry less restrictions than other trinkets. Damage caps out at full chaos + sword damage trinket. ASI caps out at full vog + sword ASI trinket. CTR caps out at full Chaos + level 10 weapon.

Hearts don't have a hard cap like that. Why is that?

My suggestion is this:

Penta-heart gives 5 pips, since it isn't called hexa-heart.
Heart bonus supplied by gear caps out at 15. 5 from helmet, 5 from armour, 5 from additional pendant.

1. Battle sprite project contest - loooooots of players actually want valestone and moonstone to have their sprites, some of them started posting topics on suggestions forums. As we have too much of these suggestions which actually drown in sea of AT removing spam(you can actually do it yourselves in options), there should be a battle sprite contest created, so that we can get all our suggestions there and choose the best ones, you know. Otherwise we should get the gate construction back into game.

Version Switcher

Am I the only one to suggest this?
I'm sure people will rant at me for making a thread about this, Because of things that don't make this such an easy thing to do, Or simply because I've made a bad suggestion in the past (Cough* Dual Wielding *Cough), But that doesn't change the fact that this is even possible.

Now, As for problems like not having items from other versions, They will still appear in your inventory, Just unusable. So as not to cause errors in the game, you will be switched to equipment you own that is from the version you switch to.

Party Finder Suggestions

I've been looking on the forums for a while now, and have realized that there are a lot of suggestions for altering/improving the party finder. Most of these suggestions seem to be duplicates of each other, which I can only attest to because these suggestions get vey little to no feedback and therefore fall into the recesses of the forums. People don't see the old post, and then decide to make a new one of an already old topic. So I decided to collect all of the party finder suggestions into one place.

Left handed characters?

This is something that's always kind of bothered me in video games.

The fact that EVERY SINGLE PERSON is right handed. I'm left handed, and I think it would be fun if OOO added lefty characters.

Make Loadouts easier to manage

Two things that I think should be changed about loadouts:
- when I change a loadout that has 4 weapons in it, but I currently only have 3 weapon slots, the 4th one shouldn't get deleted. it's a pain having to edit all my loadouts after buying an extra slot.
- if I craft a new weapon, the new one should automatically replace the predecessor in my loadouts. (maybe this is already changed, last time i checked it wasn't)
