Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

possible shard buff?

yeah I know these ideas get passed around a lot, my apologies if this has been suggested.

maybe as a buff, we could have it so that the outward expansion of the miniature shards does damage

so in this scenario, the bomb explodes, and enemies caught in the path of immediate expansion would be damaged maybe up to 2-3 times. sorta how like the old shards worked, but less 'gun like'. and of course the outward shards would still explode n' stuff.

Was thinking perhaps 50-60 damage a hit, hoping that wouldn't be obsolete/overpowered D8

Cautery Sword Revival!

Don't you think Cautery Sword is a trap for noobies?I think so.

Here is my idea ; tweak it a little.First one will be the original,and second one will be my idea.

Cautery Sword 3★ (Heat LVL 1)

Pure Normal Damage
3 normal attacks,last 2 moving you foward.
Charge attack makes you swing your sword once,followed by 3 explosions.
Damage vs. Slime : Very High
Althrough with that UV,it is weaker than Nightblade (Heat LVL 1).

Cautery Sword 3★ (Heat LVL 1)

Pure Shadow Damage
3 normal attacks,last 2 moving you foward.

Small modifications to the Plate Shield Line along with a new Plate Shield.

Basically, there are some minor issues with the Plate Shields. Volcanic Plate Shield pretty much outclasses Ancient Plate Shield and Ironmight Plate Shield outclasses Royal Jelly Shield but is still often left in the dust compared to other things. Either way, onto my suggestion:

Why not just make the Plate Shields each specialize in the four damage types?

Example:

Ancient Plate Shield:
+30 Normal Defense (15 Units)
Stun Immunity

Ironmight Plate Shield:
+30 Piercing Defense
Freeze Immunity

Volcanic Plate Shield
+30 Elemental Defense
Fire Immunity

An Ethanolic Suggests: A change to the shard bombs

In the first edition of An Ethanolic Suggests, I will propose a change to the shard bombs.

As it stands, shard bombs come in six flavours: pure normal, pure elemental, pure shadow, shadow with a sprinkling of fair chance of moderate shock and a dash of slime: very high, pure piercing, and piercing with a sprinkling of fair chance of moderate stun and a dash of fiend: very high.

Now these bombs may seem fine in theory, but they are just not up to par with any of the other damage bombs, excluding the BAB and irontech destroyer.

I am going to start posting a series of topics called: An Ethanolic Suggests (it’s a pun on my name, kinda). These will not be the most radical or brilliant or extremely well thought out suggestions, but they will have one common intention: that they could be implemented in the game without too much work on OOO’s part. Classic Shard Bomb Class: Reimplementation (And Why THREE RINGS Should Consider Reintroducing It)

Hello!

This is a discussion for the reimplementation of why the classic shard bombs must be reimplemented. Why?

I still am lost in why Three Rings decided to stash away my dear old shard bombs.

Overpowered? With bombs like gas bombs, it is virtually ridiculous to say shard bombs were overpowered. Heck, even Dark Briar Barrage can be spammed and act as an overpowering bomb.

I am not saying the new shard bomb class needs to be replaced… I am saying it's now the must for the reimplementation of the classic shard bombs. Let's begin. You may freely comment as you wish…

There should be a curse icon over the shield icon under the health icon when your shield bash is cursed

Currently there's just no way to tell whether or not your shield bashing is cursed, as far as I can tell.

Unbinding

I got new equipments and replaced it with my old. My friends are way behind me in the game and they want my equipments. When i checked the unbinding fee, it costs a lot of energy to unbind a single equipment.

I wonder if there is an easier way to unbind.
