Have a suggestion for Spiral Knights? We would like to hear it.

Segmented enemies = weak to AoE; strong against blitz

I'm talking about making enemies with multiple parts that have multiple HP numbers. The classic example would be a worm with several segments. Here's how it works:

Blitz = Destroy one part of the enemy. = Bad

AoE = Hit all parts of the enemy = Good

I think you can see where I'm going with this.

Kat Themed Cursed Weapons

This is the only event that doesn't feature any weapons and feel like its a missed opportunity to add in some more curse weapons besides Faust.

Kat Claws

Deals Shadow Damage
3 Hit Combo with the 3rd hit having a chance to inflict curse Has average speed. Its charge attack releases does a big swipe and 3 bullets just like a Black Kat. That deals curse, but can also curse the user.

Kat Eyes

Deals Shadow Damage

Add Costume exchange shop to supply depot

one of the main incomes of the game is the costumes and accesories because those allow players to customize them, main problem with them is they are limited to the promo time (obviously if not that wouldnt be a promo item) and the amount of people who buy them. keep in mind that we used to have lot of those costumes when game population were bigger, now items are more limited due our low population.

so why no add a new tab in supply depot which speciality is costumes and accesories called "Bechamel wardrobe"?

Weapon Balance Changes Ideas

A lot of weapons in this game are not very strong in general, and I think we could use some balance changes to buff weaker weapons so that we have more practical and fun weapons to use in Spiral Knights.

Tortoguns:
-Enemies no longer avoid shards.

Reason: Its really hard to land the tortogun's powerful charge attack and provide area denial, when the enemies just refuse to get hit. Leaving
the user of the gun have to kite the enemies or push them into the gun's charge attack and shards. This will make the charge attack more fun to use.

Orbs, Recipes and Progression

One thing that was very annoying for me was that if you wanted to craft anything other than the recipes given to you, you would have to go out grind really hard. If you follow the game's recipe path line of cobalt armor and leviathan blade. They ultimately set you up for failure once you hit tier 3. Your damage becomes abysmal. You could quickly get through 3* and 4* certifications only be very weak in tier 3. Which is exactly what happened to me. The way the game's missions are set up does not encourage you to explore different weapons and armor.

Some Interesting Suggestions

I'm happy that Grey Havens has taken over Spiral Knights because OOO did nothing with it, except for gouge players of their wallets. Since this game was always one of my favorites to play i'd hate to see it spiral down the drain (ha). So i have come up with some cool suggestions to maybe help the game improve and be funner for the casual and hardcore player. So lets get right into it.

-DLC/Additions.

I think progression could be improved upon

People tend to go towards one set when the game is about branching out.

This is the trend of chaos and black kat, wolver armor, etc. versus specialized armor, as well as the desire to craft as few weapons as possible. They do it because the game gives them the incentive to do it in spite of itself- it's cheaper to craft chaos/seerus/black kat than it is to plan around random scenarios. Since much of the fun to be had is in replaying levels with new gear, it would make sense to force players to branch out.

All of my Ideas for Combat

New Weapon Types:

Bows - Long Range, Slow attack Speed, VERY high Damage. A mix between a gun's attack type and bomb's attack type in which, you can only charge it but it fires a strong projectile. They always inflict status. They can only hit one enemy at a time, but do very high damage. This is what you want if you want to play as a sniper.

Here are a few things that have bugged me during my on-again-off-again presence here.
I am under no illusions that none of this will ever be addressed.

Compounds
These things are currently almost the platonic ideal of anti-fun.

Big ol' list of my previous suggestions

If y'all check in here every so often, you know I have a knack of existing in here. Since the news that Grey Havens has completed back-end work, that means there's potential for a lot of the suggestions made over the years to start becoming more of a reality. I decided to go back on some of my old suggestions and compile them up into a list of things that I'd like to see in the future.

Some of these are a pipe-dream, others are actually very important and intriguing changes that would update how new and old players interact with the game.
