...manifested into two grumpy old guys that try to kill eachother constantly. Needless to say, I'm a bit unimpressed with the Seerus and Herex battles, due to how little they actually manage to succeed in killing you. The other grumpy old guy in the Firestorm Citadel is actually good at that, so what's with the Elite Overlords of Cradle being pushovers?¿

Here's my proposal:
•make em better
•give em rank missions so i can go and beat the everloving FU

New Event Mission: Vanaduke's Head

The boss of firestorm citadel has lost his head!

This mission involves Vana's head floating down a variety of looping hallways, while the knights outrun Vana's body trying to smash them and get its head back. The head occasionally just floats off into the distance, spewing fireballs everywhere. If the knights kill Vana's body, the head will come to it to revive it before running away again.

When the knights do eventually corner the floating head, it speaks to them-

"I'm just trying to get a-head! hahahahahahaha"

And then it gives them 5 seals of Almire, and ends the mission.

About the Snarbolax

I think that for a boss, he is a bit way too easy.. and he just needs to be a bit more agressive.

I mean. 80% of the fight he is just popping in and out of random corners, and all you need to do to avoid him is to raise your shield, then your regen can gate all attacks. And when he tries to do an combo biting you, you can just go to the side and he will just keep attacking the air.

Alchemy Machines in Guild Hall.

Hey there, I was wondering as to why there are two regular Alchemy Machines in the Guild Hall rather than one and one Pet Food Alchemy Machine? Would it be possible to change it so that there's one regular Alchemy Machine and one Pet Food Alchemy Machine in the Guild Hall rather than two regular?

TL;DR: Mortafire with a tank, who spams bombs with random statuses and has destructible artillery.

Umbra-Lunatis and I were coining random boss ideas (and discussing existing ones like Seerus/Herex) in the Spiral Knights discord, which eventually evolved into this. (Which then was heavily tweaked by me, since I'm the one making the forum post, so... Obviously, they can comment any of their own ideas below too.)

Blocking being client - based

I dont know if thats possible to accomplish, but...

What if blocking with the shield was client based? ( Instead of it depending when the enemies strike at the server, it considers the player's screen ) ?

As someone who stays at 2 bars of connection half the time, its a pain to block like that. Usually you just up your shield and still take a hit. Maybe that could be made client - based, so shielding which is the main way of defending yourself would be reliable with poor connection.

Make us able to change our quickslots.

Title.

For example, i like having health and remedy capsules at 4 / 5 because they are the ones i find most important. But as i cant change the quickslots sometimes they end up on 6 / 7 / 8 ... etc.

In order to solve this issue, we could be able to reallocate the stuff in our quickslots. It could help the player a lot sometimes

Tortoguns shouldn't provoke monster dodging/shielding behaviour (like mixer-style weapons)

Yet another suggestion on the tortoguns... Can the bullets not trigger the dodging/shielding behaviour for monsters? The mixer-style weapons already have that feature and the tortoguns' normal attack needs a buff, sure the buff on the charge was nice, but it hadn't resolved everything wrong with it. We can stop complaining about how the mixer-style weapons are nearly unobtainable unless you're a paying player if this was to be implanted in the game.

I can probably imagine why they wouldn't/haven't added this sort of thing in yet. It'd be hard to make it fit along with the rest of the trinkets.

Throwback Event

I'd love to see an event where some of the first events were brought back similar to how we can get random event crates through this current Anniversary Event.

It just doesn't seem fair that some item sets, mainly the first run of Battle Chef Coats and Tabards, were only ever sent out once or twice and that the second wave's designs paled in comparison to the first run. (Neon and checkerboards *shudders
*) It's also a little frustrating that to get some of these fabled items you need to give an arm and a leg to have them. Their prices are wildly inflated.
