As far...
as I know, LoA (T3) has a set depth and being it was the treasure room, the third floor, it would be a matter of waiting for it cycle back in. (I've never looked at the Danger Mission depths.

talk about item drop?
My friend dropped a Strike Needle in RJP 2 days ago on Depth 16 (the 2 boxes before the last arena, after getting 2 statue). I got freaking mad jealous (naturally, who wouldn't be?)
And sure enough, 2 hours later... RJP again, we kill JK go to boxes. I open them and start chatting, see the item Needle-like blue (maybe a blitz? O.O) my friend (who just got a Strike Needle!!!) go and takes it!!! That son of a .... BUT
...I get it! Strike Needle again lol
Two Strike Needle at D16-D17 in less than 2 hours...
I found a Magic Cloak and a Jelly Shield around D5-D8 (was one year ago though...)
Friend found Firecracker 3 days ago and found Fiery Vaporizer 5-6 days ago? (I think items are showing up more than before because we have passes, but that's just an assumption)
They all dropped from boxes (anyone can confirm they drop from mobs too?)

Well I was disappointed about the Mega Magnus because I was in a party in the Clockworks and I myself picked it up yet it went to another player in the party. That person didn't even bother to go for the Prize Boxes... Anyway I did obtain the Wolver Cap when Jelly King dropped it. I was quite lucky. :)
All of that was a few months back. At least 5-7 months.

I finally got my first
I finally got my first five-star drop while soloing LOA. I've never actually seen a 5* item drop during a prestige mission. Part of me was doubting they did, though it's probably because i see most good drops occur during FSC.
Here's what i've found so far, since i began playing during the Steam transition; the last three dropped recently. In retrospect, it doesn't seem like very much, considering how long i've been playing this game.
