We are considering some changes to the small number of dual special damage (elemental, shadow, piercing) weapons in the game. These include:
Silversix
Blackhawk
Argent Peacemaker
Sentenza
Sun Shards
Radiant Sun Shards
After sufficient review it seems clear that these weapons are odd ducks. Dual special damage ends up facing too many weaknesses and results in an incredibly niche weapon.
Here are the changes I'm considering to make them more in line with their original concepts:
Silversix - Pure elemental damage, add an undead damage bonus
Argent Peacemaker - Pure elemental damage, add an undead damage bonus
Blackhawk - Pure shadow damage, add a gremlin damage bonus
Sentenza - Pure shadow damage, add a gremlin damage bonus
Sun Shards - Pure piercing damage, retain fiend damage bonus
Radiant Sun Shards - Pure piercing damage, retain fiend damage bonus
What are your thoughts? Please try and think of what you believe is best for the game. Change is always hard, especially if it's your favorite weapon we're talking about!
