Auto Target is relatively useless to you if you don't even know how to play Lockdown. If you have any experience with game mechanics then it will be of use to you but only to a certain extent. Auto Target distorts your movement at times when 2 or more enemies are in range of Auto Target. It makes your attacks slower and useless. It leaves you off guard as if it were a third attack in a combo. Heavy swords are better without Auto Aim and same goes for Flourish/Snarble at times.

And I wanted to talk about the disadvantages of AT. You covered all of them I guess, I just want to say that when you are fighting one person AT would work better, but if it goes more than that, then you need to be experienced enough to handle it with 2 enemies or more. Simply it makes you slower, and you can't do Crowd Control Damage "Unless they are standing in front of each other". It only helps you land a correct hit "Sometimes" and alot of times it just makes you duller and you can't move swiftly. I actually don't use it when I get my lovely 3 bars, but these days... you know after the GH update alot of people including me are having 1 bar and massive latency hit.

AA = more range, fake accuracy, robotics combos (with any weapon)
No-AA = play yourself.

I am an end-game player - I did everything that could be done - from going to SL to rolling a triple-MAX - and the only SK part that I still play - and waste CE for it - is LD.
Now, matchmaking is broken since the start: there is no proper handling of teams, it is not uncommon to see a team with 6 full 5* and the other with 3*-4*: result, a boring match for both teams.
Matchmaking needs a patch to take in count number of matches played, equipment, total damage/caps/defends. It has been "suggested" many times, but never patched. Do you know that if a 2* has 1 single 4* item he goes to t3? Unfortunately, I have seen even this too.
Penalties to "leavers" have been asked too, because there are people who quit at match start if no one fills, or ragequit middlegame unbalancing the match, and, as always, ruining the game to the others.
Custom settings and LD lobby too has been asked months ago ( the linked post is back from july, but there are other posts even older asking i.e. to set the number of players in a match ). These would solve lots of problems, allowing gamers to play matches they like, how they want, and with who they wish.
After all, lobbies/custom settings are in every multiplayer game for a reason.
If you really think that "There's nothing else TO add but more MAPS" you should play t3 LD more.
Maps or Spectate should have come after the core LD was refined with user feedback: I would have appreciated them completely as nice add-ons.
Instead, LD seems in a perma-beta state since it was out - and I was here on LD launch day.
My post #120 was provocatory - it means: "Will us ever get a patch dedicated to lockdown after the long strike of fancy things?" (costumes/accessories/maps/furnitures)
Of course there are coders ( new GH is 1 month old right? and I pushed half a million on day 1 in it ) but I feel like no one seems to care about Lockdown...

No seriously, AA may seem to help aim, but it is definitely not Aimbot. If it is aimbot, it would have help you attack your target behind your back when your cursor is actually in front. AIM ASSIST PEOPLE! NOT AIM BOT
By the way, AA does not work 100%. players are always on the move, you shoot a pulsar, they will get out of the way. That's where NO AA is better than AA. SEE THAT! WE DON'T ALWAYS USE AA!

No seriously if you have over 150ms of ping, you are gonna have a very bad time. I tried, and obviously, didn't turn well.
Let me give you an example of NOT AA :
If he swings at you from the right, then he swings at you to the right, that isn't AA, it is the cursor moving from the left to the right.
AA only activates when your enemy is within a 90 degree radius infront of you, that means 45 degree to the left, 45 degree to the right. (my estimates only) It helps adjust your swing to hit the enemy.
BUT! Aimbot is when your enemy is anywhere around 360 degree of your player, and your knight wasn't suppose to hit in the direction of the cursor, then suddenly it swings towards the enemy. That my friend, is aimbot, which does not exist in this game.

Second, Auto Aim is Completely different than aimbot in FPS , because in FPS Aimbot "Aims" for you with 100%, which means no work at all. Unlike the "Auto Target" in Spiral Knights, where an enemy have to be in a 90 degree radius to be hit. Actually "AT" makes it harder to play unless you have bad latency, "Which I don't think you have even that you seem to have 2 bars, bars means nothing." Here is a solution I just thought of, what if there was a feature in the colosseum where it says, do you want to do LD with Auto Aim or LD without Auto aim, and you choose which one, because all the players in the LD game version you chose will not have auto aim (if you chose non auto aim) or will (if you chose with auto aim). There problem solved
Easiest solution would be custom matches and filter search:
Allow to host a custom match with these options:
1) AT ON/OFF
2) Only full 5* allowed ON/OFF
3) Immunity Frames ON/OFF
4) Heart Trinkets ON/OFF
5) CE reviving ON/OFF
6) UVs ON/OFF
7) Polaris ON/OFF
8) Hammer ON/OFF
9) Striker Boost breakable ON/OFF
The coliseum would change from a click-only-and-wait to a lobby where you can see hosted matches with their options, and choose what to join, or host your own ( like a Torchlight 2 lobby ).
Everyone could play the game they want. You want all ON? go on. All OFF? you can. Maybe you just don't want 2* noobs playing in your match? Choose the option. AT is not game-breaking but heart-trinkets are? Choose the first ON and the second OFF.
If you have other 7 players around who like the same options set, you'll play a match you can enjoy.
However, let's get real. OOO will never patch LD. They care only about accessories and costumes.
In 1 year, LD didn't update, ever. ( I won't count "spectate" as meaningful ). Not even some barebone matchmaking with team balancing.
