Just because it's sealed doesn't mean it's indefinitely "Closed."
Return to Cradle (Roleplay. Apps accepted!)
(( @Seatus: that sword in my post isn't the Vorpal Sword, it is Typhon, the blade of the Dark Valkyrie Diablo... -.- aka Kirito's new weapon. As for the Core's sealing, read my post. This is still while you and the dragon were arguing... So the Core can still be opened by some magical absurdities.
And as for your saying that Kirito will be stuck in the Core... Well, what do you think happens when two of the strongest Fallen Valkyries are merged into one body? Im pretty sure that the Core won't be able to hold them inside. ))
Kk <(^-^)> Sawwy Oh and the Core lcoking them in was because I thought it was the Vorpal Sword so if you withdrew it you would've taken the main source of power
Axis looked up. It was nice that someone actually said thanks. He shrugged at Trivoc. It wasn't a big deal. "No problem." He then slumped over and dozed off, that event had taken a lot out of him.
((Gotta go for now guys, see you all in a bit.))
Trivoc
Axis acknowledged his thank you, and went to doze off. Archemiday approached Trivoc and spoke. "Hey Trivoc, remember how you got out of your nightmare? I think its time you returned the favor." the bard said.
Trivoc nodded and returned to Ikaros' side. He sat down next to her and put his hand on her sleeping form. He was unsure if people could feel anything real when they were asleep, but he hoped that it would provide some comfort for her.
(( Dagoon just essentially killed Thrynn, and yet nobody notices, or just thinks it's not such a big deal. ))
Edit: (Muahahaha. . . How ironic, I just got back from school, and yet he has to go to school.)
(Hmm. . . If Kirito were to now mix him and Diablo with uhh. . . god of. . death. . . Oh right, Thanatos. Yeah, if they were to be all the same person, there would be plenty of chaos to fill Cradle with.)
((The Core held back no less than 3 major powers: Gwen, the Dark Swarm, and the Whitespace Swarm. I think it can hold a couple of Valkyries.))
(Reading everything from the beginning again. . .)
CORRO TELITA- No. . . NO NO NO!!!! NOOOO! . . . . Why? Why the Harlem shake?

Edit: Looks like they got a bit squashed. Sorry.
((@Thin: that's great! but his personal color is actually more to Ultramarine... But other than that, it's epic!))
She knelt before him and begged him to spare her life, but the King of Death did not listen to her, nor did Theo intervene. The King looked down upon her, gleeful that he had brought the Queen to her knees. He raised up his hand, and forcibly extracted her powers and life energy. Losing her mind and memories with every passing second, she reached out to Theo, desiring to touch him before she departed. He began to have a change of heart, but before he could take her hand, she collapsed, her power now residing in the King. Gwenyvier, Queen of the Valkyries, was no more. Nyx had finally gotten her way.
"C'mon, sleepyhead. I don't have all day to kick your tail," Gwen spoke to Theo with a wink.
Theo groaned as he awoke from his vision, he tried his best to ignore... whatever he had saw before... What will happen to Gwen exactly? He stood up and backed away from Gwen and still holding an offensive stance with his Acheron. "It's not over... I'm... not going to lose... Kill me if you must..."
He swung his blade once more but quickly lose his balance, he used his sword as a support for him to hold on to. "I..." Theo grumbled, he let out a roar and let himself fall to the ground. "Dammit! I can't defeat Thanatos if I can't defeat you... why.... dammit...."
After a few seconds, Theo returned his breathing pace to normal and sighed, "...As I promised to you... You can ask me all you want.. I won't hide a single thing..."

( Cute. I wish I could upload pictures, but that's one thing I can't do for sure. )
((Guess what? Another villain!
Faction: none, he serves himself
Name: Diavolos Sintaro Apophis (known commonly as Diablo)
Gender: male
Appearance: tall and imposing, with two spikes sprouting from his back (if you've seen Black Beatle from Young Justice, thats what the spikes look like. His hair is obsidian black and his eyes blood red, his lava-red/midnight black dragon wings have jagged spikes on them that could essily slice through an Aegis, and his teeth are abnormally sharp, able to bite through even Volcanic Steel.
Arsenal: Typhon, Stormbringer, Oathbreaker, Armageddon Set
Bio: Diablo is ancient, even by Valkyrie standards. He is nearly a million years old, but he is still in his prime, even though all of his former comrades have long since passed. Diablo was a founding member of the Council, and was praised as the greatest swordsman ever born. But there was one problem with him: pride. He thought himself above every Valkyrie, and sought to seize control of the Council, and, in effect, the reins to the universe itself. He rallied a group of resentful rebels and nearly overthrew the Council, but was narrowly defeated in single combat by the first Uranus Queen. He was sealed into his own sword, Typhon, and cast into the depths of the Core, where the Swarm's secondary job would be to make sure he never got out.
Additional info: Although extremely capable physically, Diablo is also very intelligent, known for laying devious traps. He is a cunning strategist, willing to do whatever it takes to win, and is an expert swordsman, regarded as the finest one ever born.

sorry if the gear's a little too strong, but keep in mind that this is the Valkyrie who nearly defeated the Council singlehandedly. ))
((@Seatus: I made a couple pics of your character, too. Seatus is wearing: Snarbolax set, Barbarous Thorn Shield, Shadow Dragon Wings, Shadow Tail (representing his spiked tail), and Barbarous Thorn Blade in the first pic, Dark Briar Barrage in the second.))
((@Kaijuhunter: I made Kirito in Spiral Spy. I imagine him to be wielding a Dread Skelly Flourish.))
((@Infernus-Dragneel: I modified Theo to be colored Ultramarine and wielding an Acheron.))
The story continues...
"It's not over. I'm...not going to lose...kill me if you must!"
Hilariously, he tried to swing his sword and almost lost his balance, recovering by using his sword for support. "I..." Theo grumbled. He let out a roar and let himself fall to the ground. "Darnit! I can't defeat Thanatos if I can't defeat you...why!?.... darnit!...."
After a few seconds, Theo regained his breath and said, "As I promised to you, you can ask me anything you want. I won't hide a single thing."
Gwen sheathed her weapons and slowly walked towards him. "What are the duties of the Arbiter of Death? And...what do you know of Cleo Reithbow?"
((@Kaijuhunter: your app is accepted. I'm presently trying to make him in Spiral Spy. xD))
Thats a really good SpiralSpy of Kirito, exceot for two little things. His wings are more jagged and spiky, sort of like a mix between the Valkyrie wings and these wings: http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Angeloid-type-epsilon-Chaos-148938828
His sword looks like an acheron with a red instead of purple glow.
Still, thats great! Keep it up!
----------
Edit: Here's a little help so you know what Diablo looks like.
Typhon is basically a red version of the Gran Faust, with the blade being black.
The Oathbreaker shield is like the grey owlite, with red eyes and dark grey instead of the usual light grey. The rim, which is white in a grey owlite, is black.
Stormbringer is basically what a BTB and a Sentenza's baby would look like: there are two wings at the back of the gun, and it is red and purple.
As for the Armageddon gear, it's a mix between the Fallen and Snarbolax set. There are two spikes instead of one, and the two jagged designs going down the helmet are purple instead of grey. The wings on the side of the helm are dragon wings.
Diablo's wings are also similar in appearance to Kirito's only larger.
The eyes are the same as Kirito's, but with a few purple flecks here and there.
Dagoon walked around Thrynn trying to hide the bits and pieces all the while slowly reattaching the battery to the socket.
Archemiday walked over. "So. . . What have you been doing over here, while the rest of us were sitting about Ikaros trying to see if there was a way to help?" Dagoon looked around to see that everyone in the room was asleep. "Well. . . I've been trying to reset Thrynn so that he can leave the swarm dream sooner, I mean. . . A quick shutdown should stop all "Programs" and stop the swarm dream."
Reserved for replying with Archemiday.
( Now I'm looking at the development of Cube World over the years. )
((I've added my best rendition of Diablo, but it's not up to spec. It appears to be the best I can do so far.))

((These two (Ark and Chappie) must be bored out of their minds right now XD.
@thinslayer: would Arkus and Chappers be able to see the Valkyrian council in The Sanctuary they're in? If yes or no, I'll edit my post in a bit, depending on your answer.))
Chappers
"They're taking so long. Should we check?" Chappers asked. Arkus contemplated the situation for a moment as he looked over the edge, and into the blidning light of The Sanctuary. "I guess we should. Where should we go first?" Arkus asked the smaller Knight.
"Well... Trivoc and thrynn were the ones who found Ikaros, so maybe it'll be a better idea to check on them first. Plus, we have a way to communicate with Archemiday, unlike Trivoc." Chappers suggested. Arkus nodded. "Sounds like a good a plan as any, let's go then." Arkus replied as he led the way through The Sanctuary. Hoping to find an elevator somewhere that would take them to the Unknown Passage of the Gloaming Wildwoods.
The Sanctuary however, was a larger place than they had expected.
And I'm back!
Here's the app!

Name: "Vin"
Gender: Male
Faction: Slightly alligned with the Order, although he is likely to serve his own ends before assisting the Order.
Loadout: Snarbolax Coat (Shadow Valkyrie Wings), Grey Feather Cowl, Barbarous Thorn Blade, No Shield
Appearance: Rumors say that he retained his boyish looks, and an anonymous source claims to have seen him outside his armor. He has somewhat kempt hair, bright blue eyes, and a pale complexion. Also tends to wear glasses when not in possession of the cowl. Under his coat, he wears the standard jumpsuit all Knights possess, but it may have been modified with a gear on his back. This may be the secret to his ability to ignore Cradle's usual physics.
Bio:
While everyone left Cradle, Vin was among the very few to stay. However, he disobeyed orders and deserted the Order, for a reason unknown. When the Order had returned, they did not find him waiting as expected, but rumours spread about a shadowy figure loitering around Haven. The Strangers acknowledged his existence, but didn't bother to observe him. After all, he was difficult to pursue, and he paid good shinies to keep his secrecy. Legend has it, though, is that he somehow gained the ability to move throughout the Clockworks without any use of energy, as well as finding a way to cross the Chasm. Both of these were never proved, but it wasn't impossible, either.
The latest known siting was at the Gloaming Wildwoods. He was apparently camping next to a giant wall of black briar, inviting passerby's a meal of Chroma jerky. He shared stories with people, and politely saw them off. Some skeptics claim that the briar was in fact, a Snarbolax. It has been dismissed as false, since the only Snarbolaxes known were only 5-7 meters tall. This one was around 12-15 meters tall.
Personality: So far, very cooperative, amiable, and eloquent. He seems to have brought a generous amount of companionship with him, as he always makes friends with whoever he meets. His record as a Cradle survivor, however, prove that he has post-traumatic stress. It may have been possible that he has gotten over it, although most would deny that fact. He is also noted for complaining to the inventors of the Iron Slug to abolish the usage of such a weapon. He claims that they're too brutal and messy for war.
Abilities: During his time as a Squad Striker, he had a very high proficiency in dodging and running. Undoubtedly, he may have gotten better during his time alone. He also appears to have trained with the Thorn Blades to the point of being able to instantly produce thorns, instead of charging up. When he was an Inquisitor of the Order, his deductive capabilities increased.
Gwen sheathed her weapons and slowly walked towards him. "What are the duties of the Arbiter of Death? And...what do you know of Cleo Reithbow?"
Theo bit his lip and grumbled for a moment, "Our duty... I meant Thanatos' duty is to.... Cleanse the planet, restart it...." Theo paused and sighed. "I once asked him the same question... and he just stayed quiet for the rest of the day.... with those twisted eyes of him staring right into my soul... I felt like he was hiding something from me... So I decided to do some research by myself...."
Gwen then knelt next to Theo and rested her arm on her knee. She took her pipe and shook it as it comes to life, she then handed Theo a spare one... It was disturbingly a familiar one... perhaps he has once been given this?
Theo then lighted his pipe and tried it, it was able to calm him down from his anxiousness. "This will take a while to explain... Let me start from the beginning... where the end finally began..."
"Thousand of years ago... Nyx and her army of demons invaded Cradle to claim it's power... the Valkyries on the other hand retaliated and fought them until the very bitter end. The Valkyries ended victorious as Nyx's army slowly crumbled, they spared the night mother's life and made a promise to never invade Cradle or seek it's power anymore.
But that was where he came along.
Thanatos, the oldest son of Nyx didn't agreed with the term, he wanted to take over Cradle and take it's power.The Valkyries defeated him with ease and punished him for his evil intentions, they told him that he will continue to return to Cradle to protect the Core and 'Reset' the world if the land becomes corrupted by anything.
It was the most horrible punishment for Thanatos, the Core is what Theo see every time but he wasn't allowed to take it's power.
Long he waited for his suffering to end, he wanted to return but he was bounded to protect the core. Then came a powerful Valkyrie Queen who took pity on him, she then selected one over the million knights that has now inhabited Cradle. She searched for those beings known as doppelganger, every planet has a doppelganger of other planets, and the Valkyrie Queen searched for the doppelganger of the Arbiter of Death. It was a young knight, his name was.... Theodore.
Theodore was forced by the Valkyrie Queen to start the contract with Thanatos so he won't be bounded to the Core anymore, of course, Theodore didn't agreed and it was the Valkyrie Queen who started the contract. The contract was meant to merge the God's soul into the body of the mortal, the only way to finish the contract was to defeat the God in a fight. If the summoner (the person who created the contract) managed to yearn victorious, he shall be granted reincarnation, uncanny strength, skills and ability... and if the summoner fails, their soul will be eaten.
Theodore couldn't defeat Thanatos, he was about to be killed but the Valkyrie Queen interfered and easily dispatched Thanatos and finished the contract for Theodore. Since then the poor knight had seen many deaths and lived a sad life, but he was lucky that he had friends and siblings that will always be there for him.
There is also a rule about making contracts, if the summoner has a sibling which is also the doppelganger of the God's siblings, they will instantly be bound by a contract. Unfortunately, everyone in Theodore's family is the doppelganger of Thanatos' siblings.
One day- Theodore wanted to end his contract, he didn't want to live in like this anymore. He asked Thanatos what will happen of him if he dies, the Arbiter of Death grinned and told him that his soul will always belong to him- that the contract will continue forever. And that contract... still continues until now.... but the knight terminated the contract and he became feeble, his siblings' souls is still owned by the God of Death and the now loose God... will hunt down every living soul and devour the power of the Core... just like he vowed to his mother before he was taken by the Valkyries."
Theo sighed and looked down, "And that's it... It was... that Valkyrie Queen's fault, she made my brothers and sisters in danger and now... she is nowhere to help us..."
"Oh right! about Cleo...." he smiled slightly and looked at Gwen, "She... well I met her in the Clockworks... I brought her to Haven to take care of her, she was able to somehow see Thanatos.... and that was when we parted ways... And Thanatos.... contacted with me and told me to.... kill Cleo..."
((@Azure-Orbit: Whenever the Whitespace decides to materialize them, yes, the Valkyrian Council is visible.))
((@Vinnydime: Your character is accepted! Welcome back.))
Gwen knelt beside Theo and rested her arm on her knee. Her keen, beautiful eyes looked at him with interest. She shook her pipe to life (no need to lite it) and handed Theo a spare.
Dagoon told me she was trying to reboot thrynn. "I think I might know someone who can help.". I said while I opened up the idea engine interface on the arch drive. I entered my password and released Saito. He crouched down and pu his hand on thrynn. He closed his eyes, and lines of data became visible.
"Wow."
Gwen bit the tip of her pipe and puffed thoughtfully on it. "These contracts are quite complicated. Alice must not have foreseen the consequences of acquiring an Isoran doppelganger." She shifted close to Theo and leaned on him a bit. "Even though you lost the fight, I think I'll tell you all I know anyways." She sighed and crossed her legs, now leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Maybe a little background is in order. I wasn't always Queen of the Valkyries. Thousands of years ago, back when the Morai ruled Isora with a just and fair hand, I was an Enforcer, an officer of the law. Enforcers had the dangerous duty of bringing to justice any monster or evil being that posed a threat to the peace. I was the only nearby enforcer on duty when I heard a strange distress call from a tiny metal planetoid. I hustled over there to find that it was engulfed in an evil black substance we now know as the Swarm.
I almost didn't make it out of there alive. We didn't have the tools to fight it then like we do now; all I had was a repeating crossbow and an unpowered (but high-quality) saber. I managed to find my way inside the planetoid, and discovered that it was but an empty shell.
Well, nearly empty. There was a bright point of light at the center. I floated towards it, and it spoke to me. I don't remember its words exactly, but it told me I had done well, and that I was qualified to 'take the mantle of responsibility.' I now know that it had handed down its power and authority to me, but I didn't recognize that at the time. The thing identified itself as 'Alice,' and then left. I never saw her again.
With my new power in hand, I was able to drive back the Swarm, but was unable to completely defeat it. Not because the Swarm was durable, but because I made the foolish mistake of having pity on it. Still thinking myself an enforcer, I continued my work, but some say that I became a living legend, and I was one day voted onto the Valkyrian Council. They eventually made me its leader.
That didn't sit well with Kirito or Diablo. They both felt they'd been slighted by the council's maneuver, and plotted to get their revenge. I elected not to intervene, seeing as it would come across as a conflict of interest. The council banished them both to the metal planetoid and sealed them inside it. The rest is history."
She looked up at him, head still on his shoulder. "I think I know who Cleo really is, too. Her real name is Clotho, who is the self-proclaimed Arbiter of Life, and essentially your opposite." She chuckled. "This universe seems littered with people who have hidden identities."
Content that she had told him everything he needed to know, she closed her eyes and slept on his shoulder.
((Gwen does not often share her background with anyone, and is a sign of trust and intimacy. She's not really hiding the fact that she likes Theo.))
Diablo
I cackled in my new body. I had faced Kirito in battle before, but he was surprisingly weak, despite the Council's praise of him. When he had tried to absorb my energy, he proved to be more resilient than he used to be, but i still had no trouble forcing him out of his own body. I sealed him inside of the Core and casually stepped out. I grabbed my scabbard and drew my sword Typhon from it: a two and a half foot long blade of pure Unholy Ore; the most dangerous shadow material known in the universe. Twirling the blade, i got a feel for this body and smirked. I walked into the light, where i spotted the Council and a Vog Cub. I casually slipped a throwing knife out of my pocket and flung it at one of the Coumcilmen, then rushed forward and impaled another on my blade. Two down, 5 to go. Already, the other Valkyries had gathered their weapons, but i whipped out my Stormbringer, an enormously powerful pistol, and downed two more of them. They groaned, nursing their wounds and trying to get back on their feet. I scowled: their abilities now were pathetic compared to the last time i fought them. I knocked aside another Valkyrie and tossed Argon like a rag doll. The Vog Cub fled, but i let it go; i had no use for worthless animals. Two Isorans had also just arrived, but i scoffed in indifference: their life forces would be mine eventually, but i had one last loose end to tie up. I turned to face my last victim, a Valkyrie dressed in pure white, donning snow colored robes and clenching the legendary Purifier sword in his fist, his legs trembling. Smirking, i asked, "Aren't you going to say hello to your old friend, Taki?"
Growling, the King of the Council charged me, and my blade met his.
--------
Ikaros
The pain i felt in my head slowly subsided, and i came to. Sluggishly, i rubbed my eyes and looked around as everyone stared with concerned looks on their faces. Trivoc was absentmindedly stroking my hair, but i didn't resist. I snuggled closer, which startled him. He looked down at me and smiled. I returned the grin and turned my attention to everyone around me. I noticed that they were keeping their distance, leaving Trivoc as the only one next to me. I blushed as i realized that they were staring at the two of us together like this, and felt a sudden urge to crawl into the ground like a Dust Zombie.
"Uuuh... Why are you guys staring at us like that?"
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________
(( In case youre wondering, there are usually ten council members, but seeing as the spot for the Uranus Queen is empty -for now- and both Kirito and Gwen are not present in the Sanctuary, only seven members are accounted for.))
spoiler: sadly, everyone will need Kirito's help to defeat Diablo, but i'll get to the explanation when the time arises.))
((I'm assuming the Valkyiran council is still un-materialized, therefore the sounds of their fight with Diablo are "echoes". Correct me if I'm wrong))
Chappers
The duo continued trekking around in the floating islands covered by White Light; they still had yet to find an elevator. [I really hope those guys are doing ok...] Chappers thought.
Eventually, they heard the sounds of battle. Blade clashing against blade, and armor thrashing against walls. "Can you hear that?" Chappers asked Arkus. "Yeah, let's see if we can find it." The Guardian replied.
They looked and looked, yet they could not find the source of the sounds. It never got closer to them, yet it never got farther either. It was constantly there, as if it were some ghostly echo. "I'm going to be honest; I can't think of an explanation for what's going on." Chappers said; he spent the whole search wracking his brain for some logical explanation for the event.
Arkus thought about the situation. "I hate to say it, but we might be wasting time here, kid. We should probably get back to searching for an elevator." He said. Chappers nodded [Anything to get away from the invisible battle that's going on...] He thought.
Trivoc
"Once we're through here, we should probably head down to The Sanctuary. We've got friendlies down there waiting for us." Trivoc told Alpha Squad, as he stroked the pink hair of the, still-sleeping Ikaros. "Aww man, we were just there." Rulen said in an exaggeratedly, disappointed tone. Euclid chuckled. "It's no problem. We're not in a rush to get back up anyway. But don't blame my squad if they get restless; being stuck in The Core for decades will definitely give someone Cabin Fever." The Squad leader replied.
Trivoc felt something press against him. He looked down and noticed that Ikaros had awakened, and was trying to snuggle against him. The two smiled at each other for a moment, before Ikaros turned to Alpha Squad, who was staring at them (Axis was asleep, while Dagoon and Archemiday seemed to be doing something with Thrynn).
"Uuuh... Why are you guys staring at us like that?" She asked, blushing.
Grantz flashed a cheery smile at the two. "Sorry, it's just been a long time since we've seen other Isorans. Even longer since we've seen a happy couple." The Guardian Knight said. "What? You expect us to leave our nice, warm, cozy campfire just to give you two some privacy? Get real, I ain't leaving my spot! But don't worry, you wont even know we're here... Well, you wont know Parma is here at least, considering she's the only recon in the squad." Rulen said humorously.
Trivoc turned back to Ikaros. "Just... Try not to mind them too much. Are you feeling any better?" He said as he put a hand on the winged Knight's forehead to check if she came down with a fever.
Diablo
Takiza was strong. But not strong enough.
The two of us dueled back and forth, trying to exploit every single mistake our opponent made. Trying. Every one of my tricks was countered by Takiza, even the stab from my wings. He slashed through the iron-hard flesh and muscle of my wing and i roared, but watched as the tissue started to reconnect and regenrate. Takiza scowled, but went on the offensive again. I parried a blow from his Purifier and narrowly caught an Argent Peacemaker shot before it buried itself in my skull, then kicked his legs out from under him. My wing stabbed downwards, but the King rolled sideways. As i struggled to lift my wing out, he punched me across the face, sending me flying. I felt my black power fade somewhat, and my form flickered, revealing me to the startled Isorans before i was once more shrouded in darkness. I turned back to Takiza and blasted him in the chest with my Stormbringer, then swiftly roundhouse kicked him in the gut, earning a groan from the Valkyrie. He countered with an upward strike, but i parried. He followed it up with a powerful shot from his Peacemaker, which blasted a hole in my side. Roaring, i cut a gash into his stomach and watched as blood flowed from his innards. Before he could react, i was behind him, and my gun blasted him into the ground. He struggled to his feet, but i descended faster than lightning and smashed him in the stomach once more. Blood spewed from Takiza's mouth, and i lifted my wing, poised to strike.
I had forgotten to cloak both myself and Takiza, and only realized my little mistake when it was too late. I knew that Fallen Valkyries were unpopular amongst the Isorans, which is probably why they were charging me now. In a single second, one Isoran already had his sword in front of my neck, poised to slit my throat. The other was staring coldly at me, his finger on the trigger to a Pepperbox.
"Drop. The sword. Now." The Guardian said, a dangerous tone in his voice. I smirked and said, "Happy to oblige" and tossed my blade towards the Cobalt Knight. He narrowly missed being skewered, and fired his Pepperbox in a panic. I ducked, as did the Guardian, and narrowly missed having a barrage if bullets bury themselves into my chest. I got up to my feet and spread my wings threateningly as the two Isorans glared at me. I spotted Takiza stagger to his feet and awkwardly fly away, and snarled in displeasure. Still, i could take care of him later. [I'll just make a lovely appetizer out of these two] i thought as i turned back to the Isorans.
I hissed, "Fine, you want to die? So be it. Your life forces will make an excellent snack."
---------
Ikaros
I smiled at Trivoc as he asked, "Do you feel any better?" I nodded and said in an exaggerated tone, "But gee, a can of Mountain Jelly would sure help." Everyone chuckled at this, and Trivoc laughed too. I snuggled closer and hugged him, then felt a small headache arise once more. The voice, once thunderous and imposing, sounded weak and wilted now.
"Come, Uranus Queen... You are needed now more than ever..."
____________
((@Azure: Hope you don't mind that i started a fight between Arkus/Chap and Diablo. don't worry, he'll eventually withdraw once the Alpha Squad, Triv, Ikaros, etc. arrive, but only so he could find Gwen and *attempt to* kill the last member of the Council other than Takiza. ))
((Let's edit the fight scenes into the same posts, as I feel it will take up a lot of posts if we make a new one for each move. I'm also going to be leaving for school soon, so you may need to take control eventually :/))
Chappers
The Fallen Valkyrie stared at them from the sky, with the white light shining behind him."Fine, you want to die? So be it. Your life forces will make an excellent snack." He said threateningly. Chappers was startled when the sword was thrown at him a while ago, and had accidentally pulled the trigger of his Pepperbox. "Sorry about that." He said quickly to Arkus. "Don't worry, let's just take this guy." The Guardian replied.
Chappers once again took aim and held his breath [The way my instructor told me to do it... Why am I only remembering this now?] He thought as he aimed and fired 6 rounds (with only slightly better accuracy) at the flying foe. Arkus smashed the ground with his Perun, causing a large, white boulder to come flying out. the Guardian then quickly hit the rock with the flat of his blade, sending it flying to the Fallen Valkyrie.
((Arkus Earthbending abilities XD. They make sense right?))
Trivoc
Ikaros said she was ok. "But gee, a can of Mountain Jelly would sure help." She added, much to everyone's amusement. She took the opportunity to snuggle closer to him, and gave Trivoc a hug, to which the Knight responded in kind.
As he looked down at her though, he noticed that she seemed to be in pain again. Although, much lesser than before. "Hey, don't strain yourself." He said as he massaged her head with his thumbs. "Can you tell me where those headaches are coming from?" Trivoc asked.
(Seatus)
"Get. Out. Of. Here. NOW!" I holler, awakening from my sleep in the waters. I pick up my Ancient Blade, and I am instantly between Diablo and the Isorans.
"You're a fool to bring attention to yourself, Diablo." I sneer, showing my distaste. "Why would you want to end them, you have far much more important matters to attend to I hope." I spin around to the newcomers, "Hey, I'm Seatus...and you came here at a bad time." I shove the Ancient Blade into the ground, and a protective wall of multicolors appears in a two and a half yard radius.
"I suggest you get going, Diablo. You have certain others you need to attend to first." I flap my wings, and they turn a firey red.
((Gotta go, see you all later... Man, this week has been stressful XP))
((Things have just gotten more epic! And Kaijuhunter, that was a very well-done fight scene. :D))
The council re-materialized around Diablo, as did Takiza, who raised his hand, and a sea of white began to rush at Diablo. "You'd better run, Diablo. It can hurt you on contact."
Meanwhile...
I open my eyes, and feel my energies coursing through me. I am alive. I have sensed a dark power abroad, and it spurs my curiosity. Isoran researchers scatter as I spread my wings and level my tail for takeoff. The Arcade isn't far, but I prefer to fly. My minions in the Core have informed me that a certain "Diablo" is wrecking havoc, and they are doing their best to keep him occupied until I arrive. I have ordered the council to continue re-materializing to keep Diablo off his guard.
I have to share an elevator with a knight. Yes, I know I'm a bit big for it. Neither of us is comfortable on the way down, and the knight is understandably anxious to get away from my imposing form. I just look down at him and growl, "Hello there." To which he does not reply, but merely nods in acknowledgement.
I make my way through the former Shadow Lairs, gathering my minions as I pass. I asked them where mother was, but they were unable to pinpoint her whereabouts. No matter; she would be useful in this upcoming scuffle, but not necessary.
There is a squad of knights at the Core, sparring off with Diablo. They didn't notice me. They're doing surprisingly well; I'll have to compliment them when I get the chance. Seatus appears to have beaten me to Diablo.
"Greetings Seatus! Mind if I join the fray?"
Why is everyone staring at me? I'm only a giant, black dragon!
(Seatus)
I keep my hand on the Blade handle, and turn to find the Swarm Child((It is the embodiment of the Master's Second Wish: A Child. But it only acts the way he thinks it acts, so he doesn't know he has any control over it. The Master is way to evil to be let out, however, his dreams are his weapons...)) behind me. "Hello!" I greet it. "Well then, Diablo, it seems you're in trouble."
I grin quite widely, and I feel a possession of bloodlust enter my body. "You better run, Diablo. Down to the Hellcore to hide behind your Master's delusions." I twist the Blade a little more, and spikes rip out of the ground around Diablo, made of the same multicolor as the field around us...
Ikaros
Trivoc started massaging my head softly with his thumbs. He gently said, "Don't strain yourself," and continued with "Can you tell me where these headaches are coming from?" I shook my head, not entirely sure how to explain the strange voice in my head. I finally said, "But please keep up what you're doing. It helps a lot..." I smiled at him and added jokingly, "But not as much as a can of Mountain Jelly." Trivoc laughed lightly and i smiled. Truthfully, i didn't care if i had all the Mountain Jelly in the world, as long as he was here by me. His presence soothed me, and i had a feeling i never would've woken up if he hadn't been there by my side. I pecked him on the cheek and whispered, "Well, there is one thing I'd like..." Trivoc's eyebrow lifted curiously, and i continued, "Will you please stay here next to me?"
Trivoc smiled at me, and i knew his answer was yes.

Diablo
I laughed at the pitiful force before me. Even the combined powers of the Council, these two Isorans, an enormous Swarm dragon, and this... Seatus person, will not be able to defeat me. Not without the strength of a Uranus Queen. I slammed my sword into the ground, radiating dark energy. I could already feel the pain of my enemies as they struggled against my insanity. A malicious grin spread on my face and i licked my lips. A maniacal glare materialized in my eyes, and i readied my sword. Takiza and the Council members, now fully healed, stared at me coldly. Takiza's voice boomed, "You'd better run, Diablo." as the strange white light rushed towards me. In seconds, i was engulfed, but it did nothing more than tickle. I growled; i knew of the Whitespace's power; i had been around during its creation, after all. I felt the Swarm energy crawl through my body, but dispelled most of it. There was still some inside, but not enough to do serious damage. I would eventually be able to be rid of all of it. Just not yet.
Turning my gaze to the Isorans, i smashed the barrier with a blast of energy and rushed towards them. In one strike, i had disabled both Isorans and dealt a small deal of damage to Seatus (( dont worry, Azure; Ark and Chap are just knocked out)). The dragon watched curiously, then readied itself for battle. I smirked. How could these fools possibly hope to take on me? I had just defeated some of the most powerful Valkyries of all time in less than one minute, and they thought they could defeat me? Pitiful. I twirled my blade casually as Seatus sent a wave of spikes sprouting out of the ground. Instantly, i shatter them as they surround me and absorb the energy. Seatus shouted to "Run and return to the Hellcore to hide behind your Master's delusions." I rolled my eyes in annoyance. "You are sadly mistaken, Snarbolax" i sneered. "I have no master. I answer to no one but myself." I chuckled at the Snarbolax and Swarm dragon's predicament.
Seatus was disgustingly weak. I stomped the ground and a spire of earth sprouted from under him, knocking him back. In half a second, i was on the dragon, scoring blow after blow into its black hide. I smashed it across the face with my fist, making it stagger back slightly. My leg flew out and kicked the beast across the chest, and it fell to the floor. Slowly, it got back up on its feet and growled at me.
Of course he got back up. That was only to be expected. Compared to my full power, I had only tickled the creature. I laughed at them and my eyes flared red with rage as my voice echoed, "You are all sadly outmatched. Just watch as i dismember these Valkyries." With that, i sent a paralyzing wave through the ground, which... Paralyzed Seatus and the Dragon.
I chuckled with glee and turned back to the Council. They had recovered somewhat from my telekinetic attack, but were still dazed. Twirling my blade, i laughed as the realization that they were doomed dawned upon them. I pointed my finger at them and mimicked a gun shot, whispering "Bang."
I laughed and advanced upon the Valkyries, intent on destroying them to the last.

(( Won't be continuing Diablo's POV until the Alpha Squad and the others arrive. By the way, sorry for the over-powered character, Seatus. Still, he IS probably one of, if not the only person who can take on the entire Council and win so easily. Like i said, only the Uranus Queen can defeat him. ))
Something was...off. His master was calling him to the core, urgently. "Bring the valkyrie, HELP!" And that was all he heard before the connection was abruptly cut short. "We need to go to the core, NOW." Axis said urgently, and he was actually having a nice nap. Everyone was looking questioningly at him, again. "I can't really explain it, but we need to go to the core."
((@Kaijuhunter: Diablo can't do that. He really should run; he may technically be stronger than the Swarm, but he still doesn't have the right tools to fight it. It's like a lion trying to kill fish; lions are stronger than fish by a mile, but they don't have the right tools to attack them (unlike sharks, for example). The Whitespace Swarm is incorruptible and can be absorbed on contact. Hence, Diablo will be purged, albeit slowly, if he lets the Whitespace engulf him. He also can't control it or turn it against anyone, since he does not have control over the Void.
However, like with any pure light or dark creature, he is capable of internally battling the Whitespace from inside himself. Gwen once had to do so with the Dark Swarm, and won. But I can't have Diablo just being "tickled" by the Whitespace. It's okay for him to be overpowered, but within reason.))
((Also, boss creatures can't be teleported. Seatus and the Dragon can easily hold their ground. Now, if Seatus (the player, not the character) is correct, the Dragon is one of the god-like beings in the universe. The Dragon should be roughly equal to Diablo in overall strength, if not in specific abilities.))
I nursed the wounds that Diablo had given me. They weren't serious, and did me no permanent damage, but they did ruin my pride. Unbeknownst to Diablo, while he was busy punching me out, I had broken his skin and covertly inserted a little of the Swarm (I didn't need to break his skin, but it would speed up the insertion). He likely won't notice what I did to him until he is partly transformed. I decided to play helpless. Let him think I am weaker. Besides, I should gather my minions and merge them with myself before engaging him, to even the odds.
"You are strong, Diablo. I'm certain that this world will quickly fall into your hands. Without a doubt, you are the mightiest creature I have ever beheld. I therefore take my leave of you." I bowed and high-tailed it through the Clockworks. I needed to find mother, and fast.
((@Gzilla: Axis has heard the orders to merge with the Dragon, but because he was severed from the Void, he would be unable to comply.))
(( I need to clarify a few things.
*Who is the Uranus Queen? Is she separate from Gwenyvier, and is she stronger than Gwenyvier? Why?
*Why is this super-Valkyrie stronger than the Swarm Dragon, which is one of the most ancient and powerful forces in the universe?
*Can we stop upping the strength of newly-introduced monsters?
You need to change the Dragon's response to the Whitespace sea. He can telekinetically push it back (much like what Gwen did with the Dark Swarm), and he can deal it physical damage, but he can't do much else to it. He cannot control it and make it do stuff it wouldn't otherwise do.))
Gwen and Theo awoke to find Thanatos standing over them. Gwen stood up and politely addressed him. "What do you need, Thanatos?"
((I beg to differ. Both events occurred. He didn't follow orders *and* was later severed from the Void.
Oh thought it was only the people on the surface, but if so does that mean Axis lost his more reptilian appearance if so do i have to edit it in?
(( The Uranus Queen is Ikaros. Think of the Uranus Queen as the secret weapon for the Valkyries; she has the most potential among them, and givem the chance, she is the most powerful Valkyrie, even stronger than the King of the Council. She also harbors an essence within her that is the only thing able to seal Diablo away once more, effectively making her the trump card against him. Ikaros' mother Astraea was the last Uranus Queen, and as i said before sacrificed herself to seal Diablo away, thereby passing down her power to Ikaros.
Diablo is not stronger than the Swarm Dragon. In their battle, he simply took him and Seatus by surprise. In fact, in a duel, Diablo is exactly as strong as the Swarm Dragon. Dont forget, he is ancient (over one million years old) and has had millenia to hone his skills. As such, he is a primordial being, just like the Dragon. Also, if i recall, the Dragon is of the Swarm, and the Swarm was created by Valkyries. Diablo is one of the first Valkyries (think Adam and Eve) and probably helped oversee the creation of the Swarm. He is as strong as the Dragon, but is also a master strategist, which tips the odds slightly in his favor. He can also be severely injured, mauled, etc. but unless the Uranus Queen seals him away once more, he will eventually heal- albeit slower than a Sloom can crawl.
I'll edit my post now. I'll just say that Diablo had incapacitated the Dragon and Seatus for a short while- long enough for him to *try* to kill the Council. ))
Somewhere on Cradle...
A lone figure sat by the cliff, staring up at the starry night sky. This one was the real sky, as it had come every year in small windows of time. For once, he felt a great calmness, since during this phase, the rumbling of the Clockworks was at its minimum. He inhaled a serving of cold night air, tasting its delicious freshness. He then stood up, and then walked back into the woods.
At the base of a massive tree, the same figure sat. He appeared to be sleeping, until he woke with a startle. Something annoying had arrived on the planet, as many things did when the other Knights were here. He hadn't been to Haven in months, but he doubted the Knights would arrive there again. The figure stood up, and gripped his left palm. Darkness wrapped around his body, until he was immersed in the thing. Thorns shot out from his back, and his eyes glowed out from the darkness. It was the first time in a long time since he had to wear this armor, mostly because he had a set of Ancient Plate Mail to ramble about in. The figured took a deep breath, and melted into the darkness of the night.
~~~
As the rusty elevator screeched down the railing, a massive vibration sent the thing swaying. Vin was, for the most part, unaffected, and only waited patiently waited for the elevator to resume its trip. Down below, something rather queer was taking place. A single silhouette was approaching a group of smaller figures, while a huge lump of Swarm was recovering from a blow. Seatus, as the shadowy figure remember him well enough, was there, and also getting up from the ground. This was weird. If the Swarm wasn't fighting Seatus, then surely, the other one was the enemy.
I jumped off of the rickety craft, allowing it to resurface up above, and took a look around. People on the floor, a devilish thing standing up laughing like a brat, Seatus not very happy; it would mean that the alien-like thing would have to be an enemy.
" 'Ello!" I called at the thing, not sure what to make of it. I pulled out my foil, and flung a single thorn for testing. I doubt that it would make its mark.
((@Kaijuhunter: I was beginning to suspect that the reason Diablo was able to brush aside the Swarm Dragon and Seatus was because of surprise. Thanks for clearing that up. Seatus and I have debated over the origin of the Swarm; we agreed that the Dark Swarm was primordial, but the White Swarm was created by the Valkyries. The White Swarm is stronger than the Dark Swarm, but less experienced; that was rectified when it purged the Swarm Dragon, bringing the entire Dark Swarm under its control and absorbing its experience and memories.
Diablo may be a master strategist, but if you think about it, so is the Swarm. After all, the Swarm can be in multiple places at once, has spanned the universe, and has absorbed the experiences and memories of countless sentient beings, ranging from the smallest bacterium to the supermassive Star Dragon. The Swarm is the ultimate strategist. Unfortunately, I am unable to represent that in this story. So I am content that the Swarm Dragon is equal in power to Diablo.))
Dagoon watched as Thrynn slowly got up and sat on the nearest stone. It took a while before he said anything. But instead of what everyone thought he would say, he said "So, does anyone have some materials I can make a weapon with? It's sort of important."
"What for?" He slowly recalled what he had seen. "Well, I need to make a weapon for Gwen."
Blade of Saved Ones
Well. . . Do I really NEED to describe it? Everyone who clicked that link saw it. (Modified version)
Often used to show how guilty a person is, It's blade glows depending on how many people have been saved or killed. (One black mark for each kill, One white for each saved.)
((Wow, so many awesome things are happening while I was away! D:))
"This.... is...." Thanatos croaked as he limped his body towards the Bazaar, the usually peaceful and quiet area is now a host to emergency camps of injured knights and Morais. Thanatos grinned at this sight, he could see the helplessness and despair in each one of their faces, "Just what I needed to become stronger...."
And screams filled Haven once more.
_______________
"Theo... why would he want to kill me...?" Cleo sighed as she walked across the Firestorm Citadel which is unusually empty today, no monsters have come to face the lone girl as if she was a major threat- which she is with Labrys.
"Is what Thanatos saying is true..?" she continued talking to herself, as if someone could hear her. "Is it true that you became evil?"
_______________
After the banquet, Thanatos wiped his mouth with a tattered piece of armor he ripped from the dismembered bodies of countless Morai and knights.
"I am famished! for now..." he cackled and took the last bite of a hunk of meat he was holding a while ago. He watched as few survivors screamed for help and running around wildly, they all have been scared to death by the remorseless Arbiter of Death.
Suddenly, Thanatos felt something unusual, he felt as if beings as strong as him has gathered somewhere. "More.... souls to eat...? Valkyries... they're.... Valkyries..." he growled in anger as his golden eyes glowed maliciously, "I... will have my revenge.... I.... am Death... I am.... GOING TO KILL THEM ALL! AND DEVOUR THE CORE AND BECOME THE ALMIGHTY GOD! I WILL KILL EVERYTHING THAT STANDS IN MY PATH!"
Axis shivered, he could feel a major loss of life, again. Whoever or more fitting whatever had sought to kill off already wounded warriors and good men had no humanity. He told the startled squad with despair. "We need to go back up now!" said Grantz worriedly. "We can't whatever attacked Haven is moving to the core, fast." muttered Axis. "Well then let's go!" shouted Parma. "Looks like you'll need to finish that sword later Thrynn." said Axis. And like that the knights, valkyrie, Morai, and battle sprite hurried to the nearest elevator. They descended through the sanctuary and when they reached the core they found an unusual sight, valkyries, an unknown figure that raidiated pure power, the swarm, and a malevolent being that just wouldn't shut up it seemed he had wounded the valkyries and caught the swarm with the stranger off guard. 4 shots rang out, each one hitting the black winged stranger (Diablo. "I HATE idiots that won't stop boasting." said Axis. "You rang master?" he asked the dragon attentively.
Also, is vin in the core with seatus and if so why is he fighting the swarm when Diablo's the enemy?
((I lobbed it at Diablo, sorry! Gonna edit it now~))
((no worries guys, soon I will stop acting this way. My mother is hiring a shrink to talk to me =D))
