((Yes, yes he should *smokes from chromalisk-like pipe*))
Return to Cradle (Roleplay. Apps accepted!)
Name: Axis
Gender: Male
Faction: Morai
Appearance: a scar below his right eye (He got it from the clockworks chromalisks can be tricky at times..) Normal build, red eyes that bore into your very being.
Gear: Viper hood (yeah for new armor) A purple and green hood with snake fangs in the jaw(where it shows your face), that looks like a cobra hood with red snake eyes on the top, and the bottom part of the hood connects to your jaw for increased biting power Highly resistant to piercing, poison, and shadow. weak to elemental. Viper suit think a deadly virulisk suit except the tails lower on the armor and longer, with thinner but longer claws, a poisonous green gem in the middle with the image of a biting snake around it. Provides defense to piercing and shadow. the set increase movement speed+attack speed. His weapons are , the viper fang, it's a modified dread venom striker, it's been converted to be used by Morai, the blades been made thicker along with the hilt. Although this means it's lost speed it's attack power is greatly boosted. 2 hit swing, heavy sword His shield is an elemental buckler, like a swift strike except it's more dark green and has a spear design in the swirls. it defends agains elemental attacks ( of course it' used to make up for his weakness to elemental) all 5* stuff. Venom destroyer, 3 shot magazine, has a good chance of inflicting moderate poison, does a bit more damage then the AP/Sentenza
Personality: Cunning and patient, Axis has always been the smooth operator, you may think he'd be in a very powerful position or at least a very well known person in the ranks of the Morai, but that's exactly how he is, he lets other people take credit or at least benefit from his ideas, these people usually end up in very high ranking positions, and this is exactly where the true genius of his plans come in he'll usually ask for favors or have complete control of the commanders sector on occasions and if he messes up? The commanding officer gets blamed not Axis. From this his close friends (he surprisingly has a lot of them) call him the viper. He's also trained well in fighting, just like his attitude he's slick in fights, quick thinking, and always one step ahead of the game. There's only one flaw with him. his nasty temper, when something fails he'll fly into a berserk rage. He's been known to destroy entire rooms in less then a minute because of these fits.
Backstory/to explain how's he's there:
Being the guy that he is, Axis has been setting up the knights from the very second the Morai touched down on cradle. He's always swiping stuff, goading knights into fighting, or just plain manipulation (rumors are his favorite weapon of choice) with nerves so high it's easy to spark a fight. Having been one of the Morai to escape the Skylarks bombardment, he's banded together with several other warriors and is currently raiding isorian camps across of cradle, while trying to meet up with a bigger contingent of Morai survivors.
"Tch, this isn't any fun" thought Axis to himself. The knights that were staying at the camp they were raiding were too easy to take down, not a single man he commanded even took a scratch as an injury. Escaping the skylark had been a very....tricky matter to think through, but it helped he hadn't been one of the Morai to have been surrounded by the knights when the calvary had arrived. Daily patrols were easy to take down single handedly, one of the funnest was causing a landslide on a recon group who had gotten cocky enough to uncloak while in dangerous territory. He remembered the shocked looked on all of their faces. The response to this had been quick a medical team had been dispatched shortly after, all 5 of them had been left with some pretty nasty gashes after he'd gotten through with them, not to mention they were badly poisoned, at that point he proceeded to add his call sign, just to anger other rescuers even more, a chromalisk fang, left right under the right eye of the closest knight. From the recon module's he gathered from fallen knights he could pinpoint where the knights thought small bands of Morai troops were hiding, that's how his band of troops was formed. Massive raids were done throughout cradle, all without the knights having a clue on what to do. With module's and com units the Morai could easily communicate from across Cradle and listen in on the Knight's conversations. "These idiots when are they going to send some of the higher ups after us" he thought while he and his men were carrying out raided supplies. "Sir Incoming transmission from another pack of survivors" said one of his officers. "Good the next camp i'm planning to raid requires a bit more muscle on our part."
EDIT: Someone continue it from there, that is if he's accepted? He can be used in anyone's story, still confused on the plot a bit, so i'll just sit back and watch for now.
*grins evilly while petting Chromalisk that sits on lap. Pets it like evil kitty. =D*
I hate them too that's why I abuse them if you haven't seen the comments I leave on other threads. =D WE GOIN' GET ALONG GREAT XD
So wait do I need to wait for an approval and why'd you edit your post? I'd like some feedback on Axis.
Yeah, you do need to wait for approval. And I edited my post because when I reread it it sounded disrespectful of Thin's authori-TAY over this thread.
(( oh no, those lines in parentheses werent OOC, they were just meant to add some extra info. I'll remember to make the actuall OOC posts have double parenths next time, sry for that ))
((Well, let's just say that it had been years since Theo ever met Gwen....))
Theo turned around to see who it was, the familiar girl who he once knew... and left him.... It was...
"Gwen?" Theo gasped as he released his hug, he looked at the girl in the eye and grabbed her shoulders, "It.... it is you...."
Theo slowly smiled, but then his smile turned into anger. "Where.... where were you? I... I have been looking all over for you... you just simply... vanished from my life...." he growled and looked at the ground, a puddle was right under his feet and Theo could see the reflection of his anger at the water. "...You know what would be better right now Gwen? Get out, get the hell out of my face!"
"B-brother... Please, do not act like th-" Eri comented at Theo, but she was quickly pushed to the ground by the hands of his brother.
"Shut up!" Theo barked at his sister, he then returned his look at Gwen, "Don't you see?! This..." he paused and pointed at the grave stone, "This is my brother's grave... It was all because of YOUR fault! I... I tried every single day to find you... Marmalade... he wanted to help me one day... And guess what? He ended up killing himself to protect me!"
Eri's eye began to water, this isn't the Theo she knew, Theo would never act like this at all. [Brother... please stop...]
"It.... It would be the best if I never met you in the first place! I don't care anymore about my promise to you..." Theo gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, he calmed himself down despite the fact that he haven't even showed all of his anger towards Gwen, "I.... I'm... sorry... But can you just.... can you just go for now?"
______________
Gured bowed his head. "Life is a gift, and nobody has a right to it. We all deserve to die, and some deserve it sooner than others."
Cleo was surprised to see few tears dropped from Gured's eye, he then continued, "Their families won't miss them. My family didn't miss me - that's why they put me in the army to begin with. We were a shame to our parents. We had no honor, and no love."
Cleo suddenly fell to a shock, she now knows that Gured too- had also have a similar past to her. Cleo began to cry as she remembered that none of her family ever loved her, was it because she was adopted? Or was it just that nobody loved her in the first place?
Gured then looked at Cleo with swollen eyes. "They were trying to hurt and kill you, Cleo. You couldn't see it, but I could. I used to be like these guys, so I know how they think. Now I need you to be strong for me, because...because...I'm not. I'm...I'm not...strong enough. I don't want to see you hurt."
Cleo couldn't hear it, but she knew that Gured is trying to hide his tears. She sat next to Gured and rested her head at the shoulder of the Morai.
"I... Also know how... it feels... when nobody loved you..." she spoke quietly, but it was enough for Gured to be able to hear. "I tried to run.... but then I was forced... to fight...."
Cleo suddenly jumped up, she grinned and squatted right in front of Gured. "Hey! how about... we make.... a promise...?" she giggled and pointed her small pinky finger, "Let's make a pinky swear...! That we... will become friends...! So.... none of will ever be alone anymore..."
Jari smiled from the shadows, realising that they hadn't uncovered his ruse. The prisoner from the trade was lying in the cage, wearing Jari's Toximask and Hazsuit. The unconscious convict still had the explosive in, which would be important for Jari's plan if the secondary offensive was to be pulled off. He reached into his pocket, grabbing the detonator. If all went to plan, then the knights would order a Vanguard escort to take the decoy to Haven, possibly to a prison. Fortunately, the now cyborg's dull eyes were hidden underneath the gas mask. All Jari had to do was sit, and wait.
I had to do something to get this RP moving. I just want to go meet the others .-.
But the Shadow Lairs need protecting...
((
Good morning! It's 7:47am from where I sit, and it's a beautiful day. Had a good night's sleep.
@Gzilla: the armor Axis wears is actually closer to Silvermail than it is to Virulisk. Anyways, let me see if I understand the gear correctly:
Viper Hood/Mail: pierce, shadow, poison resistance; MSI low, universal ASI low
Viper Fang: 2-swing, normal damage, good chance of strong poison; 225/283 damage in Stratum 6, charge is an overhead smash
Venom Destroyer: 3-shot clip, normal damage, good chance of moderate poison, 78 damage in Stratum 6, charge is a holographic snake
These seem relatively balanced. Axis and gear are accepted. You may begin!
))
During Gwen's trip to Dawn...
Gwen was a little taken aback by Theo's anger. Did he want her to respond to his angry questions? Why did he blame her for his brother's death? None of this made any sense.
She could, of course, revive Marmalade. She had done it with Arkus, and knew how to perform the operation. But Theo was in no condition to accept such a gift. He needed to learn how to properly take responsibility for past events. Marmalade's decision was his own responsibility, and Gwen was not obliged to always be near Theo. Neither Theo nor Gwen were responsible for Marmalade's death, but he would need to recognize that before she could revive Marmalade.
She decided to send him on a journey towards that goal.
She spoke softy. "There exists an artifact with the power to heal the departed. If you wish to bring Marmalade back, you must find the artifact and bring it here. Go first to depth 23 in the Iron Lion Gate. Deal with what you find there, and then proceed into the third Shadow Lair, the lair of the Twins. At the end, there are two echo stones. You will know which one to take with you."
She paused. "Your path will become clear from there on out. I won't help you, Theo. That which you sought for nearly three decades, you have driven away in half a minute. And for what? Your pride? Your false responsibility for your brother's death? Why must you destroy what you claim to love? Love never ends, Theo. Because your love for me ended, you never had it to begin with. I take my leave of you."
Ignoring his responses, she continued on her journey to Dawn, leaving him to bury himself in his own self-pity.
Alright thanks thin yeah that was what I was going with for the weapons and armor I'm still confused a bit on the story so if anyone wants to use/further axis's story, feel free to.
[Fine, Thin, i wont take control of any npc's here except for this chapter]
Serko awoked in the cell, Tyrexo wasn't there, and the room seemed to have been in a huge fire, the jail bars where melted. He stepped out of his cell and walked against the staircase. Then he heard steps, the knights knew he was free and was gonna catch him again, he saw an iron stick used to make the jail bars, he grabbed it. When the knights stepped into the room he hit them in their heads and ran away, he hid in corners of the ship, found his Cyborsuit, and sneaked out of the Skylark. He wondered what had happend Tyrexo.
((I hope you have a fun time :D I personally think Axis should have been blessed/cursed by a cult on his home planet by his parents and their cult members as soon as he was born. That could be an interesting plot device...))
"We've got something sir." said one of the Morai manning a com set. "It better be something important." muttered Axis grudgingly. "We've got news of a prison break on a Isorian ship." said the com soldier, "Good contact them immediately, tell them our coordinates, we need more people for the raids." he said groggily. He hated being disturbed during his sleep, it was the only time he didn't have to think, or plan ahead. "Is it true sir?" said one of the warriors nearby, "That they're catching on to us?" By they the recruit meant the Isorians, they were slowly getting aware of the fact that a renegade band had been formed and that the raids that had been occurring all over cradle had been organized. "yes they've STARTED to catch on." "but...?" said the warrior confused about the smugness of the comment. "and that's the thing, we've given them a very small insight on how we're acting, but my next plan will make sure we can't be stopped." "when?" "After I get some sleep!" growled Axis angrily......
((Anubis wasn't meant to find out that Jari was hiding in the shadows. He's watching from an enclosed ledge about 10 metres away from the cage. Anubis would have his full attention on the prisoner in case he didn't escape. After all, Anubis would have been briefed on Jari's abilities by Seatus or Kora, and would know he has the capabilities of teleportation. Being able to tell people are in the room when he can't even see/hear/smell them seems a bit overpowered to me.))
((Request Overwrite of post 186))
((Eh, I will erase it .-. But Anubis was able to tell he was in the room from the brief moment Seatus opened up his sixth sense. Seatus would be here but....he gets kinda weak from all the Swarm the Morai woke up... Also Unstable, you need to seriously chill on it...this is all resolved))
Gured agreed to Cleo's proposition. He chuckled a little. "I hereby pinky-swear to be your friend, now and forever." Together, they cheerfully trudged through the mud to the elevator. Just then, they heard a familiar voice shouting over the wind. It was Kazam! Gured shouted back, "We're here! We couldn't find Jari!" Kazam shouted back, "It's okay! Get your lazy arses over here!" He was clearly pleased to see them alive. After a few minutes, they met up with him and the nine other warriors. Larore patted Gured on the back. "Good to see you, pal." Gured grinned. "Good to see me too!" Larore snorted and chortled at the joke, then hugged Cleo. "Good to see you too, lil' sis."
Kazam then addressed the group. "We have just suffered a major setback in our plans to conquer Cradle, but don't give up just yet. We haven't lost, and we shan't. We will continue with our plan to bury Haven, but we'll just have to be more careful. Everyone follow my lead." With that, they began their trek through the Clockworks, quite unaware of all the dangers and traps it had in store for them.
Meanwhile...
When Gwen reached Dawn, she met up with a liberated gremlin Stalker named Akenar. "Good morning, Akenar. Is your family well?" He nodded and growled, but it was a friendly growl. "Yes, they're well, thanks. I don't think you came here to inquire after my health." Gwen shook her head. "Correct. I came to speak with the town elders." Akenar motioned for her to follow him, and they walked into the Great Tent. Various leading Strangers and gremlins were there, discussing the most cost-effective way to implement a paved road system. Akenar spoke up. "Gwenyvier has honored us with her presence. She wishes to speak with you all." The room fell silent as everyone took their places around the central stool. Gwen stepped up to it and addressed them.
"Greeting, friends. As you are undoubtedly aware, a new starship has entered our orbit. It is called the Al'truis, and carried warriors much like the knights, except that they are the enemies of the knights. Their ship has been destroyed, so they will be forced to take up residence on this world for a time. Can I count on you to assist me in creating shelter for these poor creatures?" One of the elders spoke up. "How many are there?" Gwen thought for a moment. "There were initially a million of them, but since the recent bombardment, their numbers have dwindled. I estimate there remains about nine hundred thousand." There were gasps all around. The elder spoke again. "Does their faction have a name?" Gwen replied, "Morai. They came from Ilsola in search of power." The council debated the issue. The speaker of the council said, "We have decided not to grant your request. As much as we'd like to help, we cannot afford to devote resources to the task." Gwen bowed. "I respect your decision. May I at least take Akenar along with me?" She looked at Akenar, who nodded, so the council agrees to it.
With the stalker in tow, Gwen made her way back to Haven.
((I didn't raise my voice (though admittedly, how do you do that on the internet?), I was just complaining a bit because my plans for Jari always seem to be pushed out of the way or ignored completely. Besides, Jari doesn't mean the shadow lair any harm. He may want Haven destroyed and all knights obliterated but he doesn't mean the shadow lairs any harm :P))
((Ignored completely? Welcome to Roleplay. I kind of need Jari to say that(no harm to Shadow Lairs) to Anubis to avoid inevitable destruction...Either that, or have his....hostage do it for him))
The knight in the Toximask and Hazsuit awoke. "Whoa, where am I? I feel sick." Gwen stared at him. "You are in Depth 23 of the Iron Lion Gate. You hit the emergency drop button on the elevator and were knocked unconscious." The knight held his stomach in pain and groaned. She soon sensed that there was something planted in it. There was energy emanating from it.
She realized that it was a bomb.
Most people would be scared out of their wits at this revelation, but Gwen was not. Whoever controlled this bomb had no intention of using it here, and she had no intention of causing him to. She glanced around the room and spotted a figure crouching in a remote, dark corner. She spoke into his head.
Greetings, Jari. I have heard stories about you. Fear not, I do not intend to give away your position. I'm curious to know what you intend to do with the bomb inside your prisoner. Mind telling me?
Jari watched as the knight in his armour woke up, with a woman standing over him. She turned around, and found Jari's hiding place. He guilped. A voice appeared in his head, feminine yet firm. Greetings, Jari. I have heard stories about you. Fear not, I do not intend to give away your position. I'm curious to know what you intend to do with the bomb inside your prisoner. Mind telling me?. Jari was relieved. He thought about how to respond but tried thinking the answer. I have no intention of detonating the bomb here he thought, I am aware that we are in close proximity to a large energy source. Letting the bomb explode would mean the end of me as well as all inhabitants of the planet. Jari stopped for a second, wondering for a second whether he could trust this "Gwen", but he felt bound to do it, as if he had no choice. I plan for the prisoner to be taken to Haven, where it would probably be brought to trial as me. Once it is there, I will detonate it, destroying Feron, Kora and other officials in one swoop. Jari noticed Gwen's lips tilting downwards subtly into a frown. I take it you do not approve, but I must have my revenge. Feron didn't just banish me when he was poisoned. He executed my family and friends, to act as an example to others. He destroyed my livelihood and more. I accept that I am not perfect but he must be destroyed. As for Kora, she seems like a worthy rival. She should see it as a demonstration of my skill.
((You may not have noticed it Thinslayer, but in my last post, I already edited in Trivoc's reply to Kora. I should be able to be more active by later today since my examinations are about to end.))
Ikaros stared at the lieutenant, a former classmate of hers ((lets pretend Feron is around 20, since thats Ikaros' age). Feron ruffled the girl's wavy pink hair and grinned. "Long time no see, goody-goody Alpha." You see, back when they were in junior high school, Feron and Ikaros were exact opposites: the former was the most mischevious boy in the school, the latter a straight A+ student, which led to Feron calling her "goody-goody Alpha". The girl hated this nickname, and always got mad whenever Feron would tease her with it. She shook her head, trying to get to the matter at hand.
"Good to see you too, Feron. I was assigned here to-" she was interrupted by Feron's "Yes, yes, in case we needed extra support, you were supposed to help us hold the line." Then he added below his breath, "Nobody ever trusts me to get things done on my own."
"What'd you say, Feron?"
"Oh, oh it was nothing, Lieutenant Alpha."
"Well," Ikaros said, a little irritated, "I'm supposed to go somewhere called Depth 23... Can you help me get there?"
Feron took a minute (or rather 10 seconds) to ponder this. "Hmm," he finally said, "If that's where you need to go, come with me". And that's what Ikaros did.
-----
Feron led Ikaros to the the Iron Lion gate, the one whose 23rd depth was most likely to be a good camping spot for Alpha. After explaining the system of The Clockworks, Feron added, "Unfortunately, there's been a couple of problems with the elevator lately. Sorry, but it's not safe for you to go down." Ikaros gazed over the ledge, and an idea formed in her head. She soun around to Feron and inquired, "Wait, you said, other than a rest stop or two, this place is supposed to be the 23rd level?" Feron nodded.
"But really, Alpha, isn't that obvious? Besides, like I said, how are you going to get down-" Feron was cut off. Ikaros had just leapt over the edge of the elevator, sky diving towards the 23rd Depth, her wings tucked close to her body so as to reduce drag. Feron put his head in his hands, remembering one problem.
He had forgotten to tell Ikaros about all the Gremlin Snipers stationed at almost every depth throughout the Clockworks. Apparently, Ikaros' flight would be cut short.
Of course, Feron had a habit of severely underestimating Alpha's flight skills.
________
(( yay, your characters are going to have another problem, Thin- angel girl falling from the sky! Yippee!))
"But that's MAD!" raved one of the warriors to Axis! "I've heard that whatever lurks down there is pure EVIL" yelled another recruit. "Well guess what you idiots we need to go down there." shouted Axis angrily! He had just informed his strike team that they needed to descend to the clockworks, in order to retrieve a Morai scientist by the name of Jari. He had evacuated the surface of cradle after the assault by the skylark. "He's essential to our plans to get rid of those knights, or at least take the Skylark." said Axis, calming down from his earlier rage. "He already has some plans set up, it's CRUCIAL we get to him and assist in anyway possible." muttered Axis, almost to himself. "we're going down." he said. Giant cracks had been blasted through cradle's surface by the skylark, idiotic knights and they called us the destroyers. "we sent a com message to that scientist right?" said Axis to one of his com officers. "Yeah we wouldn't want them to know we're not coming huh?" The only way to descend would be going through the cracks, then hopefully finding an elevator later on throughout the depths. Just as he was formulating a plan, a blur of SOMETHING went straight down. He wondered what it was. And so the perilous journey began to depth 23. He neglected to mention the object to his strike team of 15, no need to worry them he found his troops did better when the thought they were the the biggest and baddest thing out there. He also didn't want to seem like a raving lunatic, the object was too big to be one of those annoying hovering birds, the thing had almost looked like a knight. "A knight that has wings?" thought Axis to himself "who in their right mind would believe that......."
((I'm sick so, I probably won't be posting for a while. If you need to further the story, you have access over Thrynn and Dagoon, preferably Thinslayer.))
Name: Derek
Spiralian
Looks like: big, tough, brown eyes,
Gender: male
Loadout: anything but fire
Bio: shortly after birth, the young Derek was playing in the clockworks when he saw a ghost of the owlites. Derek poked the stick at the owlite. While enraged, the Owlite cursed derek that his life was tied on to the stick he was holding. Derek ran home and told his mom. The mom has kept fire away ever since.
This appears to be the knights' forums. How intriguing.
((@Kaijuhunter: this story takes place 30 years after the events of Spiral Knights. No knights younger than 20 may become Lieutenants. Feron can't be any younger than 50.))
Kora & Trivoc
"Trivoc! Do you copy?"
"Yes, I copy. Is that you Agent Kora?"
"Yes, it is. Are you still at depth 23?"
"Yes, I am. Kora, what's the situation out there? Has The Skylark arrived?"
"Yes, the Skylark has arrived. Have you seen a knight in a Toximask near your position?"
Back at D23...
Gwen continued to address Jari in his head, all the while pretending to examine the prisoner. I feel for you, Jari. There is no crime you could have committed that should have warranted the destruction of your family and friends. But do you not see that murdering people who were uninvolved is equally cruel? Why does Kora have to die for Feron's crime? Why must you torture and experiment on living knights who have done you no harm? You cannot attribute the actions of one to the entire group.
Still, you have piqued my curiosity; I shall investigate your case. But listen well, Jari: I will not tolerate any vengeance under my watch. I have difficulty believing that Feron could be so unjust, but even the best of men can and do fail, so I will not put him above suspicion. Do no harm while I investigate. Am I clear?
((In the legends, knights who are colored white or black are not knights at all, but rather elemental beings that have taken a physical form. They are thought to have superior physical and mental abilities, which would make them prized research subjects. *hint* *hint* Gwenyvier is probably the first (and only) such being that Jari has ever observed.))
It was 5:00 A.M the camp had been cleared all signs of them being there erased and gear picked back up with armor being refitted. That was when one of the guardians found he now had a new bullet hole where there was a gap in his armor, and over his horrified scream, gremlin cackling. "we're getting close to his position." Another bullet was so close it could've put a nick in his armor snapped him back to reality. "TAKE COVER!" shouted Axis over the moaning of the injured. "Time to show these runts who's the boss" he growled angrily. Unholstering one of the most deadly guns in the Morai arsenal, the Venom Destroyer didn't pack a lot of punch with its slim casings, but what they contained was what made it one of the most feared weapons ever. He fired 3 shots, each one finding its mark, he didn't bother aiming for vitals, the poison packed within the casings would have the gremlins innards, boiling down to nothing but a fine liquid. Even now they were turning slightly green, finally realizing what had been in the bullets, raced off for medical attention. "Idiots!" he said in a bellowing roar, "Nothing will save your sorry hides!" "Uh sir?" said one of the recon agents, "we haven't heard anything back from that scientist yet." "you think he could've been captured?" asked one of the guardians. "Well we'll just have to wait and see now won't we?" he said with an irritated tone in his voice. They finally approached a working elevator. "FINALLY!" shouted the very warrior that had been shot. HE'd been patched up, but he definitely wasn't up to fighting. "We've had to descend 5 depths on our own!" "That's odd..." Axis said. "What?" "THe bioscans picking up multiple life forms." "Well our comrades did say he had some sort of bodyguard on him right?" "But it's EXTREMELY powerful" Axis muttered....."well boys let's go greet that scientist..."He BETTER be worth all this time and effort" he thought to himself. Unlucky for the group they were being expected......
((Question, Thinslayer. Is Gwen, Anubis, and Jari with Trivoc, Arkus, and Chappers at the terminal? If they are, they seem to be ignoring the presence of the 3 completely :/
Will edit post once I have a reply))
Theo closed looked up to the sky and closed his eyes after Gwen had walked away, he tried to ignore everything she said about him but those words are like daggers to his broken heart now. He had wasted years to find her and now Theo realized that he was trying to catch fog with his bare hands, he knew he should have not yelled at Gwen but the loss of his brother and the emotions over the last 30 years had driven him to do unexplainable actions towards someone innocent.
Of course, it was truly Theo's fault.
"To you, I grant the courage you lack. Many trials await, and you need the strength of will to pass them. This will keep you safe, so take courage in it, and do not abandon hope"
Theo sighed and picked up the Maiden's Tear, he looked at it for a moment and returned it to his pocket. He closed his eyes and the rain continued to crash down upon him, this time flooding his heart with pain and regret. Theo finally let out a scream, a scream of anguish and sorrow which was heard to the heavens.

"Yay.... we're going on a field trip.... we're going on a field trip...!" Cleo giggled and looked at Gured, she was happy to finally had a friend for the first time.
Suddenly it came to her thought, that she wanted to run away in the first place. But with the new friends she had bonded with, Cleo didn't think that she should run away anymore.... She didn't want to be alone anymore...
"Hey... do you... hear that?" Cleo whispered, she swore that she had seen something moving along the shadow. It was then when she saw a creature, it was pink, floating, and a cat. "Oh! It's a... kitty!" Cleo smiled as she rushed towards the creature, "Hello little kit-"
The pink cat's innocent face turned into something Cleo had never witnessed, it was the face of an anguished soul that wanted to kill her. "KYAAAA!" Cleo shrieked in pain as the cat caught her left shoulder, the creature gnawed it and ripped a some of her flesh, leaving a big hole in her left shoulder revealing bones and guts.
Cleo screamed in fear as she fell to the cold floor, she tried to unsheathed her blade but it was too painful to move at all. The cat devoured the tender meat and proceeded to take even more from the poor Morai.
((Somebody, please do something about the bad Kat over here! :3))
Any ideas for Serko? Maybe we could organize so that he teams up with a morai squad? Maybe he goes off trying to assisinate feron & the others, but gets involved in Jari's bomb? Suggestions please :P
((@One-Step-Closer: Derek rejected. His weakness is too worrisome, and his description is not sufficiently detailed.))
((@Azure-Orbit: yes, they are all at the terminal. I too noted that they were ignoring each other. Kora's contact with Trivoc was meant to help that a little.))
((@Svanto: he should team up with Kazam's squad. There would be interesting tension there.))
Need Ideas for what happens next with Axis. Should they actually find Jari and Gwen or should they hit a detour? BTW Axis is free to use.

@Gzilla: I'm not yet familiar enough with Axis's character to make recommendations for him. Try providing me the following information:
Rank: (Beserker, Commissar, Enforcer, Lieutenant, Captain?)
Location: (Cradle's surface, stratum 1-6/depth 0-28, Core?)
Company: (squad of 4, group of 8, the whole frikkin' army?)
Disposition: (angry, frustrated, cheerful, happy, tired?)
Goals: (become president, advance to the next waypoint, capture a knight?)
))
Rank: captain as of now, but isn't comfortable with it
Location: depth 22 descending to 23
Company: 15 Morai
DIsposition: tired, and angry
Goals: Retrive Jari from his last plotted coordinates, depth 23 to further their plans to take down the knights/take the skylark (all to get off cradle)
((@Gzilla: unless he commands the Al'truis, he cannot be captain. Enforcer sounds about right for him, as lieutenant is still a bit high. I'm going to suggest he take a detour. In fact, I think his elevator should stop in a Swarm-infested level. This could become a critical turning point in the story, because remember, Seatus's fear was that the Morai would awaken the Swarm, which Axis would cause by venturing into one of their lairs.))
Serko needed to flee from the Isorans. He used his spypod to scan for morai squads. Morai squad leaders had a small tracker in their skin, it got a encrypted frequency and they didnt know they had it. These would be shutdown in emergencies so the Isorans couldn't track them, so Serko didnt expect too see any squads. But there was one, it was underground... What where they doing underground? (Serko dosen't know about the clockworks yet) Serko decided to think it was a malfunction and went to see if he could make some chaos in haven.
He went and looked in the city, he looked at the town square and in the bazzar, when he found himself looking up on a tall building. Arcade, it stood on a sign. Serko was confused, did the Isorans play games here? He walked in, and saw a few known Isorans, one of them was feron. He also saw some elevators, they seemed to go down. Underground... He stepped into the elevator and went down, he was gonna find that squad.
((im not sure how kazam's squad is gonna react when Serko finds them, so il just write Serko's version of it after theirs have been.))
((Just a friendly reminder, I'm trying to clean up the RP by editing conversations into their beginning posts. Gwen's replies to Anubis will be recorded in her first replying post. Also, I have edited the conversation to accurately depict Anubis's appearance in Rose Regalia. He ought to look very dashing. :P))
EDIT: Gwen has replied to Anubis.
